I made a call to Hugo, and he answered within the first couple of seconds. I explained to Hugo the issue we are having and was hoping he could come by today (on such short notice) and fix the issue. Thankfully, Hugo was able to stop by today and fix the issue! Hugo even showed us how to fix the issue if it were to happen again. Our phones are back up in running. AMAZING! The PC GURU! In Dec of 2014 I had a Gentleman we will politely call "E" build a PC for me. Being I had worked with "E" in the past, I was confident I would be happy with what he produced for me; wrong, wrong, wrong! I am sad to say that working with E on this project ended our professional relationship; I worked with "E" for 3 years on every computer in our home and at our Corporate office. In short I paid "E" to build a $1,200.00 paper weight. The computer would boot up after shutting it down and I would have to power the PC down 6-8 times sometimes 12 if the PC was particularly persnickety. So as I am sure anyone could imagine I was quite frustrated and well mad as all get out. I went to: Geek squad, Geek-a-too and two other private PC repair services; though I had been told by three of the four listed I needed to replace my mother board no one would get back to me about which board would work with my current set up. Nor did anyone get back to me on actually installing the new mother board. One PC guy suggested I replace my broken fan for the CPU and asked me to give him a deposit for parts and labor which I did. When he brought the computer back he forgot to mention he had removed the new fan he supposedly purchased with my deposit. When I confronted him about it, he said replacing the fan didn't improve the PCs performance. This was after telling me leaving a fan with a missing blade would cause the fan to be unbalanced and eventually vibrate to the point of shaking things lose; causing more damage. Seriously!? Yet he took it out and was going to keep the money I gave him. I got my money back; said PC Guy kept my computer for a little over a month and returned it to me as it was when he picked it up. This stuff went on for a year and a half; why so long? Well, I know a little bit about computers but; I do not believe I know enough to successfully replace my motherboard. Which is why I sought the help of "experienced and knowledgeable" professionals. As a last ditch effort to fix this brand new build I found Ace Computer Fix; talked with Ravi and he was at my house with in an hour. Ravi seemed to understand my eagerness to fix my system and also seemed empathetic at the trouble I experienced in getting it fixed. I explained that if he couldn't fix it I was using it for parts being I replaced everything but 2 fans and the mother board; so I was planning to purchase another PC but this time through Alienware. Ravi didn't mess around nor did he treat me like an idiot. Ravi allowed me to assist him in determining what was wrong and "listened" to everything I said. He went in to detailed explanations about what he was doing and again didn't treat me like I was a total moron. He didn't even make me feel bad when I mistakenly deleted my OS while trying to do a factory restore. E forgot to mention he did not back up the PC up for a system restore point should I ever need to Reset my system. Ravi was here for maybe 2-hours and the man fixed the computer! He said we are starting over by removing a Graphix card and removing one of my sticks of memory. He broke it down like this; we are going to metaphorically "rebuild" your PC. Doing this allowed us to add things step by step allowing the motherboard to work on one thing at a time. The PC WORKS! It reboots correctly, all graphix cards, memory sticks and so on work together like a well-oiled machine. My PC is no longer a paper weight headed to the parts shelf. I cannot believe this man was able to fix my PC in 2-hours without having me buy a damn thing or giving me the run a round. Ravi was kind, understanding and happy to help a novice like me understand the process of fixing this computer. I am so happy, that all the money I have put in to this PC wasn't a total loss and that there is someone like Ravi in this world to help. Ravi is now my go to guy for ALL my PC needs. My son's gaming desktop crashed completely with the blue screen of death after it had had issues for a while. We called a supposedly good computer repair guy in Temecula who said he could fix it. We took the computer in, and he said he fixed it and charged an arm and a leg when we went to pick it up. We got it home, my son went to turn it on and.... nothing. Nothing worked. Same blue screen of death. We took it home, my son opened up the case and the computer not only not fixed, it was dusty inside and the tech had told us he had cleaned everything and replaced the fans. There they were, clogged with dust. I tried calling the Temecula repair guy back, with no response. I realized I had read only Google reviews for him and he must have paid people for the reviews, because when I looked on Yelp, there were still likely paid reviews but also absolutely terrible reviews that fit in with our experience. So I looked carefully at the different reviews on Yelp and found Ace Computer Fix and Ravi. I told him the story and he said to bring the computer right away. We took it to Ravi and he fixed it within a few hours to run better than ever; he even cleaned the entire interior of the computer so that it looked almost new. No more blue screen of death; and he recovered my son's files also and re-installed Windows. He also told us that we can call any time and he will talk us through any other issues, and if we can't fix it that way we can bring it back any time. All for a reasonable price. He also helped me with my claim against the terrible computer "fixer" guy in Temecula by writing the letters required by my bank to stop payment on the astronomical bill the first computer repair guy charged. I needed a memory upgrade to my laptop immediately. I flew in from Hungary Saturday night and needed the upgrade on Sunday. After jumping through the online hoops with Best Buy, I find out that it's at least 3-5 business days of leaving my computer sitting in their storage room, which doesn't help my ability to work during the week. So I went online and found Ace open on a Sunday, and called, and, to my delight, Ravi told to come on in. I had already bought the memory card at Best Buy, so I just needed it installed. Ravi said it would be very quick, so I jumped in the car and got there in 15 minutes. He was waiting at the door for me, kindly invited me in and got right to work. Ravi is a great character, very funny and knowledgeable. He kept up a good conversation as he went along, and finished in 10-15 minutes. The price was great, I got what I needed, and now I know where to go whenever I need something done fast and inexpensively to my computers. My computer motherboard died. It was an old computer which my late husband had built. I took it to Ravi at Ace Computer Fix. He's friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and works in a very timely fashion. He rebuilt my computer for me, which meant he built me a new computer and rescued all of the information from the old one. My new computer works beautifully, except when I do something foolish and cause myself problems. When I do that, I call Ravi, who either connects to my computer and fixes it for me online, or - in the case where I've lost internet connection - he holds my hand while he talks me through the steps to fix the problems. Again, Ravi is knowledgeable, his diagnostic skills are enviable, and his willingness to listen, to coax out of me the information he needs in order to point me in the right direction are second-to-none. I was looking to connect with a local Computer Repair Company after moving here a couple of years ago. I called Ravi for advice on an issue I was having installing Adobe Acrobat on a new laptop. I had the installation disk but couldn't find the sleeve with the serial number. Ravi suggest I call Adobe support and their technician may provide me with the missing serial number. I did on line chat with the Adobe technician and learned how to recover my serial number and the technician also sent me a link to download fresh software. All installed and now works great. I generally do not reach out to anyone in computer repair let alone a company I am not very familiar. I knew I had a HDD problem, and I reached out ot Ravi. I was pleasantly surprised he was available immediately (results not always mirroring this experience I am sure), and not only willing to look at the laptop, but saying he would more than likely be completed within a few hours. He ultimately had to replace the hard drive, reinstall Windows, and run some system checks, but I was astounded by the response time, disclosure and communication throughout the afternoon, and the final price was not outlandish. First of all, this guy is amazing. I've never met anyone in this line of work like him. He's friendly, honest, and really knows what he's doing. For as essential as my laptop is during a pandemic, it was a pretty harsh blow when I needed to replace my system cooling fan. My hard drive on my 10 year old Mac went bad. Being an older system it is hard if not impossible to find someone to install a new drive for a reasonable price. I gave ACE a call and spoke with Ravi. Ravi confirmed my self diagnosis and then said it's no problem. He then gave me the price and I said no problem! Several hundred less and basically same day service! Mr. Ravi provided me with great service. I had water damage in the charging port on my MacBook Pro the night before. When trying to turn on my computer it would get stuck on the loading / login screen and then turn black. It did not hold a charge. Ravi was so helpful, it only took him less than a week to boot up my laptop again. I went to Geek Squad to diagnose the problem which took a week, but once they determined the damages, they told me it was around $1200 just for a motherboard and palm rest replacement, I had to declined because it was absurd since it was almost the same price to get that laptop I owned. Not only did he repaired it faster, he makes it affordable for you. It only costed me $180, so definitely a steal. read more

Mr. coppens is a very nice man…read more I picked Coppens because of the good reviews, only one negative review and he was willing to come to the house for a very reasonable fee. That cinched my decision! As soon as he arrived and tried to pry open the back of my computer, I suggested he take the screws out first. That should have been my first clue. But again, those great reviews.... He took out the power box and we ordered together, a new one. He took my computer home to finish the 'repair' when the new boxe arrived. When he received the new power box, he told me it worked for 5 seconds then the computer again turned off. My original problem was my computer just shut down. So he said it might be the motherboard which he doesn't do repairs on, AND he said 'to tell you the truth, I don't think it'd be worth it to put money into it to fix it." NOTE: My computer is a great computer, above the average home computer. It's 5 years old. I asked him to bring me back my computer with the 2 power boxes, the original one and the new one. He brought it back to me a few days later, no power box installed and only one of the screws to hold the back of the computer was there. :( Long story short, ha, I told him I would be getting a 2nd opinion. The next day I took it to another person and he fixed it within a couple of hours. He said, the place you plug in the power box, the pins were bent and the casing cracked with a small piece broken off. He was able to straighten the pins and get the new power box in and the computer works great! I can assure you, the pins were not bent when Mr. Coppens took my computer.

I later took it to 99 PC repair and got my laptop back it's working great and I didn't need to buy extra parts and when I asked if I had an outdated laptop 99 PC confirmed it was only a year old laptop. I would not recommend this PC guy at all. Just be honest and say you can't fix it before wasting someone's time and money.
