Him and another employee were looking out the window talking and laughing before we came in then as soon as he began to help us he was very STALE ,HAD AN ATTITUDE, DID NOT COMPLETE THE TASK WE ASKED . I'd like to start by mentioning we've (my family & I) never had an issue with this store and staff in the past. Our visits have always been excellent. Yesterday my father-in-law broke his phone hours before his trip to Hawaii, he went in to the store with the mission of buying a new phone. He communicated to Julie (Verizon staff member) he would like a phone and would like to pay it in full, no need for phone insurance. Julie sold him an i-phone 8 along with other electronics, when surprised by the total he asked "does that include the phone?" Julie responded "yes". She failed to mention to him that she had disregarded his request to 1)pay the phone in full and 2) no need for phone insurance. Julie had placed him on a payment plan for the i-phone 8 and added phone insurance. I don't understand the blatant disregard of the customers request and need. In his rush he trusted Julie and he left the store to later find out Julie did the opposite of what he asked and failed to clarify the actually transaction that took place. After receiving a notification of the changes to the account we as a family went into the Verzion store to see what could be done. Unfortunately Julie was on her way out for the night. Priscilla greeted us the moment we walked in and started helping us right away. Priscilla was great until my mother-in-law asked if she could have a print out of the information on her i-pad because she wasn't understating. Priscilla's tone and demeanor changed, she seened upset about the request and explained how they can't print out the information on the store system with tons of attitude. The manager (who witnessed the conversation) did offer to print out a copy of the account and transaction in question. When trying to explain the situation to the store manager the manager took on a defensive tone. The manager talked over us and offered no solution but to set up a meeting with Juile. We left the store called customer service, we spoke to customer service agent by the name of Anthony who was extremely helpful. Anthony expressed empathy and reassured us that we would be able to return the device, and helped clarify the additional changes to the account. I have no doubt that there are awesome Verizon staff members at this location, unfortunately the 3 we encountered were deceitful, upsetting, and unhelpful. Please take note of their actions and stay away from them on next purchase or visit. read more

Update it's September 24th now at 6:22... I called talked to the manager for 20 mins for him to " look into it " and realize that they do accept it as a form of identification soooo bet I come up there and they don't have the phone ... so I'm blown rn .. like I've wasted my time for days and it's nothing they can do like ... i seriously advise no one to come here ... they have no idea how to run a business .. im so upset . So I wasted my time tonight , I call to see if they have a iPhone they tell me to wait then come back to the phone to tell me they can't give me that information over the phone ... Went in with a software issue on my I Phone and left with a new I7, Mophie, I Pad (almost free with case) and no more issues despite my warranty up. As a business person, I'm continually amazed at how proactive and helpful Verizon is. But it's not possible without people like Kyle Markin who didn't let me walk out with a faltering phone which I depend on constantly for business. It was also apparent from the interactions of the other employees that the whole team was on the same page. I just found a new business partner.... sorry Norco Verizon but these dudes got it wound tight. Thank you Verizon Update.... what a difference 4 months makes. Where is Kyle when you need him. Have a banged up phone and they have 0 options for upgrades. Verizon keeps burying you in contracts and equip charges that you eventually have to pay $900 for a new phone or switch carriers. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Absolutely horrendous. Made an appointment and when I got there, I was told to simply call a number to set up a new account with my number. Mind you that I put on my appt request why I was coming and they didn't call me to say they don't do that before I trekked all the way there in rush hour. This is a CELL PHONE STORE...why would you be unable to help me set up an account? I was talked to condescendingly by Julie. Why is this store even open then if I am supposed to create an account by just calling a telephone number? It doesn't take 3 employees for just curbside pick up. Honestly unbelievable. Mom: "Can you come with me to get a new phone for me and your dad?". Me: "Sure, mom ok. But let's not go to a 3rd party retailer again because they really screwed you over on your contract last time." I always dread going to Verizon and/or AT&T. Why? Because they either 1) hound you 2) take their sweet time to help you 3) upsell you like a used car salesman. There's never any balance. This was a far better experience than what I had expected coming into Verizon and it's large in part due to the customer agent that helped us, Yadira. She was FABULOUS! My mom knew she wanted a Droid for herself and my dad but she didn't know what kind. Yadira kindly walked my mom through the different features of each phone and gave pro's and con's about them. Knowing that my mom hasn't been exposed to all the new mobile technology, she didn't speak down to her, she didn't go too fast explaining things, she was kind when my mom asked questions and she was very helpful in getting my mom the best data/service plan that fitted her needs. She made sure that my mom utilized every opportunity for a discount. She was just plain fabulous. Now that's what I'm talking about!~customer service at its finest. THANK YOU YADIRA. Much props to you for having my mom walk away a very happy customer, excited to use her new hip, droid phone. Shopping for phones can take such a long time esp when you're not the one purchasing it but this wasn't a bad experience at all. It almost made me inch that much closer to Verizon and take another step away from AT&T (bleh). I went here today because I live in south corona and there was no way of being able to get to the Verizon at the crossings without being stuck in a long line of street. All I needed to do here was have them help me program my phone and put the glass screen on it. When I walked in and explained what I was here for the lady who was helping me out was very irritated that that was all I came in for. I tried to be nice to her because I knew I was using her time and she works on commission but hey, you should always give great customer service even if you are just doing something quick and simple to help them. My daughters screen was cracked on her cell-phone, she could not get help in LA where she lives so I went into my local Verizon store in Corona (near Griffin Way). There I was helped by Carla Trammel who went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me solve the issue with my daughters phone and to resolve other issues I had with my own phone/account. Carla was extremely professional, friendly and resourceful. I would highly recommend her at Verizon or anywhere she ever works, to any friends and family. Anytime I have any issue from here on with Verizon, I will be sure to directly contact Carla after experiencing such exceptional customer service from her. And neither does Verizon. 23 years with them, 6 lines and we may as well go elsewhere for this kind of customer service. Long story but after ordering and paying through Verizon online nothing was ever shipped in nearly a month. ALL my inquiries either on phone or chat got nowhere so I went into the store to figure it out. No help. No nothing. No empathy. No effort to help other than giving me a customer service phone number. Oh and a refusal by Diondre to do what customer service told him to do as it is HIS store. When I complained to Diondre about how his employee dealt with me he thought it best to put it back on me. Nope. Just no. Why overpay Verizon if this is what happens? This store is by far the slowest and rudest Verizon I have been to. Every time I come here, the sales people take their sweet time to get to you, and are rude. They say "the wait will be 5 minutes" and then walk away and you end up waiting 30 minutes or more while no employee checks on you or acknowledges you. Very poor customer care read more

If I really politely let you know that I'm not going to be interested in any of your expensive add on offers, and I just want to swap my plan for the unlimited plan and upgrade my phone, I don't expect, and won't stand for, a 5 min, rude, overbearing and demeaning lecture as you continue to try and sell me the things I already told you , twice now, I do not want. It is not often you find exceptional customer service now days especially on black Friday; however, I recently needed a new cell and I thought I would walk over from my hotel to the local Verizon store (Griffin Way). OMG the employees are making people wait in line outside for the new iPhone only to be told that they dont have any in stock. Once you finally get inside they just try and sell you a pre-order or another phone. The excuse for why they werent telling anybody in line outside that they didnt have any in stock was some BS about "other people might have phones reserved and their credit might not go through thus creating availability." I had a wonderful and pleasant experience at this store. I walked in the store and I was greeted by David yesterday. I wanted to switch my cellphone plan from T-mobile to Verizon because Verizon has the best coverage. David is very professional and friendly. His service is very detail-oriented and fast. That made his job outstanding. The cellphone plan that I chose was $45 single line with 3 GB DATA, unlimited calling US, Canada and Mexico. $45 is little higher than other carriers. But it's got better signal. I highly recommend this store. And ask David. You won't be disappointed. read more

My 1 year old iphone died so I went to the store yesterday and they ordered me a new phone as I had insurance. It arrived today I went back to the store to have them help me set up the new phone. The guy behind the counter took out the old sim card put it in the new phone and said you are all set. Well actually I am not because I needed help understanding how to get all my info back. Not all of us are 22 year old boys who understand all of this stuff. He said "just got to icloud or itunes" I entered my apple ID and password and it didnt work and he basically said oh well you can just try connecting to itunes when you get home. Very dismissive didnt ask if I had other questions or needed anything else. Basically get out.... Wont be going back there. I have nothing but issues with Verizon being inflexible for awhile now thinking of going to TMobile I have been a Verizon customer for 20 years with multiple phones and devices. I have been a customer of Verizon since 2008 and I can honestly say I am very displeased with them. Over the past few years my bill has gone up and up and up, all the while they tell me it's not. I have one line and I pay $200 a month. Why? They say because I have unlimited everything and they don't offer that anymore, but wait we have a new plan that offers unlimited and your bill will only be $109. WITH. THAT'S WHAT IT ORIGINALLY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AND IT'S BEEN $200 FOR A WHILE. THEY have hidden costs and before u know it bam urban bill is always over the amount they promise u in the beginning.
