They guide you to the right section and send a worker over to help you make decisions and walk you through the purchasing process. I was doing a phone trade in, hoping to get credit from my old iPhone 11 Pro in order to buy the iPhone 13. Because of one very minor scuff on the bottom right of my screen, it plummeted the value, which is ridiculous because they use these phones for PARTS, not resell the entire phone. Overall, the workers were nice and helpful, very informative! It's roomy in there and I had somewhere to go and wait while my phone transferred the data.

Even that was much harder than it needed to be. I was sent to a table for pick up at people were doing several different things. This including talking about returns and discussing their options and in general, not picking their stuff up and leaving. This resulted in a confusing wait without clear directions for the several people who were in line to pick things up. Of course, if you wanted to actually shop in the store, they made you wait in line outside the store due to capacity limits. They managed to bring out the worst of both online shopping and retail shopping. I don't like shipping expensive electronics, but maybe that would've been the better option.

    I'm extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer service I experienced at…read morethis OfficeMax location, specifically in the printing department. Earlier today, I came in with a laminating job that I needed completed the same day. I made that timeline very clear from the start. Tyler assured me that the job would be completed by 4 PM, which is why I agreed to move forward and paid for the service upfront. I even tipped Tyler as a gesture of appreciation for good customer service, expecting that my order would be handled responsibly. Unfortunately, I later received a call saying that the job cannot be completed until Monday. This is completely unacceptable. I came to the store early specifically to ensure the job would be done today, and now my schedule and plans have been disrupted because of a lack of follow-through. If I had known from the start that same-day service was not possible, I would have gone elsewhere. What makes this worse is that this seems to be part of a recurring issue at this location. Several recent reviews mention service and reliability problems, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but a pattern. OfficeMax is a national brand, and with that comes the expectation of professionalism, accountability, and dependable service. Paying for a service, being promised a same-day completion, and then having that promise broken is unacceptable and undermines trust in the brand. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me to address this situation. Please provide the appropriate corporate customer service or escalation contact so this matter can be resolved. I hope this feedback helps improve service at this location, as experiences like mine should not happen at any OfficeMax store.

It took me a while to get through the screens on my MacBook in order to print out my work. She was able to take her time and help me. I looked around and as always every time I need office supplies and school supplies it's here!
