They scratched my outer screen during repair. I received my phone back with finger prints all over the outer screen on my ZFold 4, after having a warranty replacement of my inner screen protector. After wiping finger prints off of outer screen, I found brand new half inch scratch on the outerscreen. I believe they were hiding their damage. If they didn't remove protector case from phone, it probably would have protected it. They of course denied damaging the screen. They even inspected the screen at drop off while wiping it clean. . I assume your SOPs are to inspect for damage prior to drop off and note with customer. I am extremely dissapointed. read more

I have been to this UBreakiFix at least 3 times for different devices and have always been satisfied with my experience. They are honest and stand behind their work. They also are empathetic to your tech crisis and don't use any high pressure sales tactics like other repair shops. I trust them for all my device repair needs. Visit 1: My phone screen went black, wasn't charging, and was completely unresponsive. They ordered the part they thought they needed, and it turned out that wasn't the issue. I gave them permission to order the more expensive "plan b" option.. still didn't work. My phone was officially dead, but they didn't charge for the parts or service because it ultimately wasn't fixed and nothing was able to be salvaged. This type of honesty and service practice is hard to come by, even though the outcome wasn't what I wanted. Visit 2: My laptop screen was cracked. They ordered me a replacement screen and made the repair. Simple, easy, and fair prices. It took a little less than a week because they didn't stock those screens. Visit 3: A different laptop "turned into a brick" after a MS update. They confirmed that it wasn't reversible but offered a solution to at save the files. They were able to confirm that the hard drive was still good, so they turned it into an external hard drive and salvaged my personal files for a reasonable price. read more

I had payed 150 with tax to fix the back because I came in to fix the screen which was covered with my insurance but they said the back would completely shatter when they would fix it but when I came in the next day which was today, they didn't tell me the back didn't shatter at all and they I paid for the cheaper option without the logo on the back but I realized it was there and it didn't shatter at all and they were gonna give me it like that even after I already paid for it then they went to fix the back which means they charged me for something that wasn't necessary.I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

Their parts break, YOU fix. I would give zero stars if I could. Don't use this store at all. They don't keep their 90 day defective parts warranty. Better go to an Apple store. UbreakIFix's 90 days on parts doesn't cover if your screen cracks at 102 degrees. We will see how my iPad does, but I'm not positive anything will be covered in these 90 days, so find another dealer or watch a you tube video. Very unfriendly and tech person seemed impatient. We were asked to backup our phone so it could be reset to fix a simple text notification issue. Then wanted keep the phone for two hours. We took the phone to the ATT store. They fixed it and we were on our way home in ten minutes. I do not recommend these people at all. Go somewhere else. read more

Awful Experience Unprofessional and Ruined my Device!! So I called into ubreakifix located on Monroe Rd. To see if they had a charging port for a Google Pixel 2 XL. The person on the phone said they did and to come on by. I then proceed to go to that specific location because none of the other 3 had it in stock. Upon arrival a girl greeted me and asked why I had come in today. I proceeded to tell her that I just called in for the charging port associated with my Pixel 2 XL. She then started to type my information into her computer database. But unfortunately had no idea what she was doing as it took 10 mins to do so. Now I have been there before and it normally takes 2 mins tops. This was the first RED FLAG!! She was then going to be working on my device after all the information was entered into the system correctly. This concerned me as I wasn't confident in her ability to do it correctly. And sure enough she ruined my phone. Now lets go back to before I even went into the store. I was concerned about all the information being on my phone to begin with. So I wiped it clean!! Upon doing it my screen was a nice vibrate white color when rebooting. Now fast forward to when they called me to say your phone is ready and to come in. I proceeded to head back to the location a couple hours later. Now when I received my phone. I had to reset the device again. And upload all the data through google. Now this takes some time to do so. And I wanted to use my WiFi as it's alot of data. Now as the phone started to boot up. I noticed that my vibrant WHITE screen is now BROWN and had burn marks throughout it on the main screen. There were also 2 tiny parallel tiny dot scratch marks on my screen that weren't there before. I couldn't believe that my device that was completely fine before taking it into there store. Was now ruined due to the employee not knowing what the hell she was doing!! The store refused to replace my screen after there untrained employee caused burn marks and screen indention's on it. I explained to the manager what I did to wipe it clean. And how the screen looked amazing upon doing it. But once I got home the screen was now a brown color with burnt icons throughout. The manager still refused to make it right. And said that it was caused by me. I told him I wanted the employee to pay for a new screen or the store. And he yet refused again. So I asked to speak with the owner of the store. And the manager said no. But I will contact him and tell him what happened. I said OK thank you I will call back tomorrow and hopefully we can have a resolution about replacing the screen. Upon the call the next day. The manager said the owner refused to replace the screen and that I had to pay for another one. But they would do it for free. The Screen was $215.00 I told him I came in for a charging port replacement. Not a new screen due to employee error. Once again I was refused a new screen. I wanted to talk to some one higher up. And get the owner to replace my screen. Since he is a franchisee. I got corporate involved. And even with them stepping in. This Owner Still refused to help me. The location and owner need to be reprimanded for BAD Business Ethic. And the Better Business Bureau has been contacted. I asked you to do the right thing and yet you refused over and over again. Stay away from this location as they won't look out for there customers best interest . read more

I recently managed to disconnect a critical cord that controlled to the start button of an electronic gadget that would have cost me $500+ to replace. My neighbor suggested I try uBreakiFix but when I looked at the website, I thought they'd probably turn me down since their focus is on phones, computers and tablets. I decided to give it a try and found myself at the Galleria location without an appt when they opened one weekday morning. Gabriel greeted me immediately and offered to take a look. Within 10 minutes, he not only fixed my issue, he didn't charge me anything for it. I was so grateful for the incredible customer experience. I absolutely LOVE this place. My computer had the black screen of death and I was so afraid I would need t buy a new one. I took it in and they fixed it within four hours and I ad it back home. The prices are very reasonable and I will never use another PC repair place. This is absolutely the best ever. i am a self employed essential worker and came to your store on 7/7/2020 with cracked sreen and operable 6s plus iphone..screen was timing out but once screen was enabled i could use phone even with cracked screen.. you stated that you could replace cracked screen on 7/7/2020 and i left my phone with you and 2 other phones that needed batteries. you failed to inform me at that time that once you tampered with phone and replaced screen that i would have to restore my phone to factory setting which would cause me to loose all data on phone if data had not been previously backed up to itunes!!..on 7/7 you had me pay you $99 and my phone was still "disabled" store was closing and you informed me to simply go home and "just back up to itunes and phone would work"!!! it never did....i returned to store at 9 but store opened at 10 and waited out front until it opened and you told me this on 7/8 after i had been without phone for 2 days and worse was in jepoardy of losing all my business data.. i should have been informed of this when i dropped phone off so that i would have had the option to take phone to apple.. your response was "you have 3 new staff and they dont know all the answers and you can give me a 50% discount or full refund and put the cracked screen back on my phone" i am putting you (ubreak ifix) on notice that i will be filing this complaint with the attorney generals office because you guys are clearly not experienced enough to be working on some of these phones and getting customers under false pretense to service phones..as you stated i stand a chance of losing all my data for my business and if this happens i will be seeking legal actions if i am not satisfied with nc attorney generals response. read more

UBreakiFix is a good brand but this location is horrible. They botched my repair, destroyed my phone, and refused to take accountability. Had to buy a new iPhone!
