I was happy to see that they were open on Saturday when other shops weren't, especially with an impending ice storm approaching. I really needed my phone repaired ASAP. Sure enough, I was greeted with excellent customer service from the moment I walked through the door. Freddie assisted me with my phone. He was very knowledgeable & said that he would be right back in about 5 minutes. I couldn't believe that in roughly about that time, I was paying for my repaired iPhone. Initially I couldn't remember my password to get back into my iCloud account. He offered options to help restore it. Thankfully, I remembered once I got home. I was able to use my phone again & charge it up just in case I lost power during the ice storm. I'm so grateful to Freddie for walking me through the process effortlessly. I'll be returning (hopefully no time soon) if I need help in the future. He saved me from having to purchase another phone, which I wasn't ready to do yet. They threw in a free screen protector due to me finding them on social media to I guess lessen the blow from the rip-off. This morning I woke up to a crack in my phone screen, thought it was the screen protector itself but no it was my actual screen. Social media manager isn't trying to fix my phone under warranty because they are claiming physical damage and are only willing to give me 25% off after i just paid damn near $200 for basically a different model.

Cliff notes version Owner is an asshole who only cares about…read moremoney not his customers. I got my screen "repaired" about a week ago and it somehow developed a minor crack two days later. I didn't drop it, squeeze it or do anything that would normally cause a crack. I read the warranty and it said it doesn't cover physical damage. Since it was literally two days later I figured there was good chance that they'd fix it out of good faith. I called and asked about it and was told I could get a measly $10 off a whole new repair($215 after tax). I went today in person to ask again. The owner rudely told me the same thing. I politely walked away and waited for customers to show up so I could explain to them that they should use a different location because the owner of this one is just an ass. Some customers did come by and I waited for them to leave the store to talk to them(you pay after). The owner followed me out there and asked if I had a problem with him, obviously I did. He proceeded to argue with me in front of the customers and capped of the conversation by telling me he'd call the police(again I was outside). The police did show up and were very understanding and respectful. They understood that the owner was just being a jerk but they did have to give me a notice of trespass, as they should have and I figured they would. I talked to them about where I was allowed to be and the owner was hearing this. He said he'd call the property manager and have her trespass me from the whole strip mall. We'll see how it plays out but the point of this is just to say if you are considering doing business with this guy just don't. If you want to use CPR there are two other franchises very close(the Arboretum and Indian Trail locations).

I made my first call to Batteries Plus, the woman was very rude and short with me---Pass!!!! The Pineville location has bad reviews anyways. Next on my list Staymobile!!!!! At 9 AM rushed over to Staymobile to be the first in-line to drop off my iPhone. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Staymobile!! My phone looks awesome!!! All I needed was to have the back of my iPhone 10 replaced and to have the screen on the iPod replaced. FixER stated that they should have my iPhone in a few hours and my iPod in a few days. I waited a few hours before they told me they couldn't fix it and to come back the next day. After coming back the next day they told me that I would need another part to fix iPhone and that it would arrive in a few days. I had already put a $100 deposit down that they would not give me back or I already would have taken my business elsewhere. The store called me in to fix my iPhone and when I received it back, the back was a completely different color than I had before. Not only that but my blue tooth and GPS no longer worked. Not only that but they replaced the iPod screen but it no longer worked at all. Being highly upset I asked for a discount which one owner said okay to, and when I went to the other owner he said that was not his problem and still charged me the full amount. The store owner asked if he could have the iPod back because I was so upset so that he could make things right. Being that I live almost an hour away I waited for them to call me when the iPod was done and never heard back from them. I eventually was in the area to stop in the store and ask for my iPod back and the owner stated that the other owner does not work there anymore and he doesn't know where my iPod is. He stated that HE was not mad and that he was done talking to me. Needless to say, do not buy or have anything fixed from this store. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
