Today I purchased the brand new iPhone 16 from Timothy! Nice guy, super helpful and over all a good experience. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the phone and I spent 1 hour trying to return the device. Unfortunately, when I returned to get help with the phone, Alfonso greeted me at the door and proceeding to completely ignoring me for 45 minutes while he discussed his girlfriend problems, vacations and life with another customer. Luckily Jordan was able and willing to help me with my return the moment he got a free minute (45 minutes after entering the store). I would not have returned this item if Alfonso would have treated me with respect by simply doing his job and refraining from discussing very personal subjects in front of costumers. It's funny reading the reviews, even dating back from 2012, and how similar my poor experience was even to people from years ago. I came in knowing I wanted a new Google pixel. I've had my pixel 2 for 4 years, and I would have had it for another 4 if I could, but it was on its last leg. I walked in and stated which phone I wanted. I didn't want to browse or check out other options, as I already did plenty of research on the new pixel, and was pretty sure that it was what I wanted. However, the sales rep told me that he hasn't been selling a lot of them and shifted me to a phone called the "velvet". Even though in the back of my head I knew the pixel has never been a popular phone to most people and doesn't top the charts for phone sales, I let him lead me to this other phone. I ended up returning it the next day to get the pixel 4a because I hated, literally, every single aspect of the velvet. The interface, camera, the design and how it felt using it, everything. The other reviews also mentioned being pushed to buy a different phone by sales reps from this store. The door to their break room was open, and the white board in that room said "Let's go make some money" so that should have been a red flag when I was there the first time. They care more about the commission then actually making the customers happy with the purchase. Also, the first day that I was there I had to do a good amount of waiting because I was on hold with verizon about some back end stuff that needed to be done first with my plan before I got the phone. During this time, two other employees were sitting at a table together, BOTH NOT WEARING MASKS, and one of them went on about being at a party that was wild and drama about a dude stalking her for days..... Great conversations to have right in front of customers. I was furious. Everything about this store is a joke. I'd drive 3 hours out to an actual version store if that was the closest one available versus this place. read more

My grandma and I went in to this store to upgrade our phones. I was interested in a work phone, and the sales associate told us we could receive a free phone, so I jumped on it. I should've known as a sales person he was swindling us. Nothing is ever free. I don't use the line as I thought I would so I went to cancel it, and Verizon said it was part of a "promotional deal" so if we want to cancel it now we will have to pay $400 for the phone that was supposed to be free. Now we are stuck paying for a phone and a line that isn't being used. Don't trust them like we did! Read ALL the fine print. Also, don't go here. They make everything sound so good and convenient and then nickel and dime you for everything you have. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

I bought a defective phone from them on 4/26/2024, and then when I tried to return it the next day, the representative Alfonso Garza insisted that I could not without a restocking fee. While still in the store, I got in touch with someone from Verizon and was discussing the matter with them. The representative kept trying to interrupt and convince me that the Verizon rep would not be able to help me. He kept on pressuring me to keep the phone and was convinced that I was wasting my time. The Verizon rep eventually allowed me to make a return by mail and bypass the store altogether without a restocking fee, per policy since the item was defective. Even after I received confirmation and was emailed a return label to Verizon, Mr. Garza continued to pressure me and kept insisting that I was making a mistake. The Verizon rep was advised of the situation and advised me to leave with the item right away so that I could mail it back. read more

Beware, THIS STORE STEALS PHONES. An employee at this store convinced me to trade-in a phone that was paid for and I was perfectly happy with for a new one that would some how be free. I surrendered my phone for the brand new one and was never given a receipt. When I saw on my bill that the trade-in was not credited I went back to the store several times, and was told not to worry it would eventually be credited. Three months later, I learn they don't know where my phone is, and it's was activated with a new email weeks after I gave it to them. When I reported this to customer service they told me they had "no evidence" that I ever gave them my phone. Conveniently they only retain security footage for 60 days and that employee no longer works there. I was jerked around from beginning to end and treated like liar. They are DEEPLY unprofessional, do no care about customers, and are not to be trusted. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Came in ask about how I could receive the preorder incentive that I was entitled to and they told me they didn't know and that I might not be entitled to it, even after looking at my account and seeing the preordered phone in my hand they say before it hit stores. Then the guy tried to tell me that his phone was so much better than the newer version that I just received on preorder. So I started off getting no customer service from them and ended up being insulted about my choice of the newest phone that Verizon had at that moment. Man I had an excellent experience here with Kennon Williams! He went wayyyy above and beyond to make sure me and my niece were well taken care of. He made sure we got the best deal, calculated out everything for us, made sure we understood everything, and was so kind and friendly. He even offered to come in outside of his working hours to help me get my phone contents transferred over. He literally is the best salesperson in there. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to have products that work!!! Their phone chargers are NOT compatible with iPhones, yet the sales team leads you to believe they are legitimate. Not only do the products not work, but the employees will make up any excuse in the book to not let you return a faulty product. They even tried to tell me I needed to pay a restocking fee for a plastic box that the charger came in, which likely costs their store $0.50!! Unreal. Horrible customer service, lazy employees, faulty products that you might as well buy at a stand in the middle of the mall versus a Verizon retailer. You're being screwed either way. ZERO STARS ARE NOT AN OPTION. BEWARE!! 4 HOURS TO ACTIVATE NEW ACCT!! THIS WAS WORSE THAN BUYING A CAR This store is full of scammers (sales people are all in it together). We went in to try Verizon and couldn't be more regretful. Our agent Anthony was new and had to be walked through every detail of new accounts w/apparent manager "Q" who had to finish the new activiation. We were given a monthly bill price pre tax in writing and our bill is still $20 more b/c they forgot to mention this and that!! In our justified frustration, we signed forms one of which we were told some fees would be credited to us on our first bill, NO it wasn't. But Alex who we went in to see w/our new bill was so helpful in telling us we should have came to him b/c the other 2 were new and not as knowledgeable and don't always disclose everything but that he would have gave us "the hook up"! Then he got on the phone to the w/and "escalation" b/c he would be sure to have these fees credited back to us (b/c we were prepared to cancel service for a full refund). Alex said we would be receiving a call from a rep and the refund would take 3-5 bus days. Ya, so no one called, nothing could be given to us in writing per Alex b/c that's what the escalation dept takes care of). When we called escalation ourselves and spoke w/Selena she made us aware that it was their policy to adhere to all agreements we signed and there was nothing they could do. THANK YOU FOR THE "HOOK UP!" ***I CALLED VERIZON CORPORATE AND THEY ARE NOW ASSISTING US AND HAVE ALSO STATED THAT THIS STORE IS A PROBLEM AND THAT THEY REQUIRE COACHING*** CELLULAR SALES YOU ARE SCAMMERS. The gentlemen that helped me at this location were extremely professional and friendly. I came in to switch from Sprint with my wife, and the entire process took less than an hour. Our sales rep even gave us his business card with his personal number so we could call him if we had any other questions or concerns! Poor customer service experience at the Verizon/Cellular Sales location located at 1020 North Bell Blvd in Cedar Park, TX. If I could give zero stars, I would. I helped my mom order a phone and we were told it would arrive at the store within two days. After 2 days, I tracked the phone via FedEx tracking number and the site said it wouldn't arrive until the next afternoon and it was being delivered to Taylor. With that information, I called the Cedar Park store. I don't know who I spoke with but he was helpful, even asked if I wanted him to pick up the phone and bring it back to Cedar Park the next day. I told him that wasn't necessary and that I wanted to speak with the manager. He put me on hold and came back on and said that the manager had left but gave me his phone number. I called him and conveniently his voicemail was full and I couldn't leave a message. I decided to stop at the store on my way home. Upon arrival, there was a young man sitting in the chair and a young man over to the right at a desk in the store. The young man in the chair got up and asked to help at which time the other young man came over to assist. I explained my situation to them and had two simple questions. 1.) Why were we told we'd get the phone within 2 days yet the tracking information said it would arrive after 3 days? 2.) Why was it being shipped to Taylor rather than Cedar Park? Neither could answer those questions. At that time, I see the consultant we had placed the order with 2 days prior who walked over. Once again, I explained to him the situation and asked the same two questions. Here's where it gets maddening... His response to my first question was, "It's not our problem. It's the system." Then I asked him the second question, and he said, "It's not our problem, it's the system and how it's set up." I began to get very agitated with his answers. I asked to speak to the manager and he stated, "I AM the manager." Then I asked, "OK, how are you going to fix this problem we have here?" He then repeated the same thing basically saying he couldn't and wouldn't fix it. Then I asked who's phone number was xxx-xxx-xxxx and he said, "I don't know who's number that is. It's not any of ours." At which time I said, "So I was lied to when I called and asked to speak to the manager earlier?" At that time, the young man who had been sitting near the door when I arrived spoke up and said that the number belonged to the team leader, not the manager. I then asked if the team leader was over the manager standing in front of me. The consultant who stated he was the manager then said, "Ma'am, we are all managers. We are all managers of ourselves." I looked at him in disbelief. I then stated that I was no idiot and I wasn't born yesterday. I turned around to leave and turned back around and called him an idiot to his face. (Probably could have handled that one a little better.) I walked toward the door and turned back around to see that he was laughing at me. I then told him that I was going to contact the corporate office and his regional director for his lack of empathy and disrespect and that my mother would be canceling her order. This wireless consultant's lack of integrity and professionalism is the reason for my review. read more

I just had a very unpleasant trip to 1020 NORTH BELL BLVD, Cedar Park, TX 78613-7078 dealing with Nick Vasquez. We were contacted to look at a better savings/newer plan. Nick did not greet me or shake my hand when meeting. He was dismisive and rude when I told him I wanted to reduce our bill but we had to wait on a new phone. He did not listen and tried to sell me a more expensive plan then told me I didn't need to come into the store for this. I had to interupt him a few times to get him to listen to what I wanted. When the transaction was complete. I stood and waited, he sat there. I extended my hand and he dismisivly shook it. I will not go back to that store ever again. Disappointing!! This place is a Verizon Retailer not an actual Verizon store. With that said I was looking to switch over from a different carrier to Verizon. This place is a JOKE! I was passed around to various different people via phone & In person....no one seemed to know what had been done or discussed previously, therefore asking me the same questions repeatedly. Then giving me two personal cell #'s of persons/employees that I needed to talk to who could fix "the problem"....... whom by the way never returned my calls. "The problem" being (Ordering an iPhone 5 and switching service carriers) Is it really that difficult ...... BTW- they are all the managers of the store?? I had to call them several times to find out what the status was and each time I asked for a manager someone different each time said they were the manager. So I canceled my order and they didn't even ask why I was canceling, which is very telling of how they run a biz. One star for canceling my order in a quick 5 min conversation. I would give No stars if this was an option. I went to this store, thinking I would have the same experience as a Verizon Corporate store and I was wrong, they bring down the name for Verizon. I came in to switch my service from another company, I meet with a guy who claimed to be the manager, at first he seemed really nice and honest, but I was wrong. Long story short, I purchased two GS4, for almost $500.00, had to drive 40 mins to pick them up, I found out 2 days later, I should have gotten two GS4 for $99.00 with rebate and no activation fees, plus $200.00 credit on my bill. I had to go back and argue, with the original guy that sold me the phones, a store manager and another employee. Now I am told I will get my phones price matched and a refund, plus a refund on my activation fees, and the $200.00 credit will be on my bill. "It normally take 3-5 business days for this to happen" But we'll see. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! My husband and I went to this store to inquire about Verizon service. At the time, our at&t phones did not get reception in our condo. The salesman that we spoke to named Jason, showed us some phones and plans. We told him that we were interested pending our at&t contract was expired. Jason told us that if it was not yet expired he could credit the at&t cancellation fee to our Verizon account. He logged into our at&t account from his computer and told us that the contract has expired so all he would have to do is port our cell numbers on over to Verizon. A little over 30 days later we received a notification from at&t that they will be charging us $245.00 because we actually had 3 WEEKS left in our contract. I then contacted the Verizon store and explained the situation. The rep gave me Jason's cell phone number who never did return any of my calls. I made numberous calls to Verizon customer service as well as to the manager of the store. Verizon customer service explained to me that I would need to speak to the owner of the store to get my credit and that person simply refuses to return my calls. Finally, I put my baby in the car and drove back over to the store. I spoke with a different salesman that told me, "Jason should have put a hold on porting you over to Verizon and if this were within the first 30 days I could do something about it, SORRY. He also told me that if I were to cancel my Verizon service they would charge me something like $700.00 for cancelation fees!!! GTFO!! I am furious! After spending a good 45 minutes in the store, I left and my issue was still not resolved! I will be figuring out a way to file a corporate complaint with Verizon. read more
