All they can do is sell you stuff and cannot help resolving any issues with the contracts they lied about to sell you. Find a "Corporate" store, stay far away from this location. Wolf Ranch Town Center, Georgetown TX. I had entered the store with a problem, yet left with a solution. The solution that was found exceeded my expectations. Grateful to be greeted with "Welcome, how can we help you today?" The manager (Regretfully I don't remember names well, but I recall her name to be Jennifer(?) but she conducted herself like the manager (professional, informed, cheerful, and social even though it was near store closing hours). She was engaged with me to find 'the' solution I was having with an old phone. Additionally, she found benefits within our account that we could use. I went in to the store to resolve an issue I was having with my Jet Pack. I had a woman helping me who was polite but didn't know anything. The other two employees kept telling her she was doing things incorrectly. One of those other employees was a man who was by far the rudest person I've ever encountered in a retail setting. I expressed frustration with the product to the woman who was helping me and the man (from across the store) berated me and blamed me for the issues with the product. He said if it was such a big issue I should have returned it within 14 days of purchase not a few months later. As I expressed then, it still worked so I held on to it. He then said, "A lot of our consumers have that product and it seems to work for them." As if I was the issue here. After calling Verizon they agreed to replace the Jet Pack. Moral of the story, Verizon resellers do not provide the same costumer service as regular corporate stores. Avoid the headache and attitude and just call Verizon. read more

Chase the store manager, Desmond, and Ethan in sales were incredible in helping me troubleshoot and activate an unlocked phone. They truly represent and embody how customer service should be. It took an hr because there were some tricky issues but they did it the whole time with a smile. Chase even went to the store next door where I purchased it to explain the issue. Desmond directly assisted me with the activation. Being in corp sales for ten years these guys deserve a freaking raise! read more

This is actually the best place I have ever been to buy a new cell phone. I put off buying a new phone for as long as possible because It is always such a huge hassle. It is not the same here. The whole staff here spends the time setting up your phone to exactly what you need all the way from the set up to the screen protector. I had everything on my phone I needed when I walked out the door. They know exactly what they are doing here and they work hard to help you with what you need specifically. Chase was the main professional who helped me and I am not sure what the other two gentlemen's names were but they all did an outstanding job. read more

My husband and I went today to buy new iPhones as ours were quite outdated. We worked with the manager, Chase and he was very very helpful. He gave us all the information in a very clear format, even showed us ways to save some on the cost. He spent quite a lot of time transferring all my old apps and data to the new phone and made sure I understood the changes that were made with the newer model. He went out to our car and installed our new Hum device as well. He made us feel very comfortable with our purchase, and confident that if we have difficulties we can find help with this store. Due to poor execution of their own processes my transaction and service from this location has been wrong since day one. After spending several weeks trying to get everything corrected I got most of the promised promotions and credits-- Not all though. Most of the staff is helpful enough, up to fixing all the problems they created. I'm going to chalk up the last promotion I'm missing as a reminder to avoid that store and probably Verizon in general in the future. read more

I would give this location negative stars if I could. I was having issues with a phone that was less than 2 weeks old, so we went in to our closest verizon wireless store. They refused to even touch the phone and asked if I bought it there. When I said no, because they did not have the specific one I wanted, they told me they could not help me, that I would need to go to a corporate store. Either cedar park or south round rock. Okay, fine. To make matters worse, when I went to the corporate store they were shocked that they couldn't even look at the phone in the local store. They basically said all the employees at the georgetown location must be totally incompetent. Sounds about right. read more

I had my first and last visit at this Verizon location last week. After months of a broken Siri, glitching touchscreen when charging and calls that occasionally muted themselves whenever on speaker, I decided to finally visit the store. When I approached the employee and expressed the problems id been having with, he took my phone and began looking at it. The first thing he checked was the call issue. I told him it didn't happen too often but was still an inconvenience. He proceeded to call the store on speaker and had another employee answer in another room. During this phone call nothing went wrong and his attitude began to decline. The next thing he looked at was my touchscreen. Since it only ever happens whenever it's on a charger he plugged it in and began using my phone. Something that truly upset me was that the first thing he did was open my messages to a recent conversation, I felt extremely uncomfortable having someone scroll through my messages and felt it should be against Verizon policy to open private messages when handling phones. But he continued messing around closing and opening apps to check the screen and everything worked fine when doing so. He made a remark saying that nothing was broken and this phone was fine but when he went to close out the apps he had opened the glitching began and he hesitantly said that it was in fact acting up along with Siri who doesn't acknowledge any speaking. Before even offering any options or assistance in fixing my phone I was asked if I was just coming into to the store wanting to get a new phone. As if telling me I was exaggerating the issues to get a new phone. I told him no I wasn't interested in upgrading and I came into to the store asking if my insurance would cover it. After this he said there was nothing more they could do and told me to contact the insurance. I will not be returning to this store. Save yourself the time and struggle and visit another Verizon location. read more

I purchased a Thunderbolt phone from GoWireless in Georgetown the afternoon of May 1st, 2011. There is a 14 day return policy. I paid full price, $630. Within a couple days, it started rebooting without cause. It also started dropping 3g randomly throughout the day requiring a reboot to fix (turning on/ off airplane mode wouldn't fix it). I waited for 9-10 days for an announced upcoming software update to see if that would fix the problem. It did not. I waited a couple days to ensure I was still seeing the same problem. I returned on May 15th to return the phone for a refund. I figure that's 14 days. I got nothing but hassle when I came into the store. They told me that I was actually at 15 days. I am not sure exactly how that math works, but the paperwork said "14 days from the time of purchase". Sunday right at closing (after 5pm) purchase, Sunday at approximately 2pm to return. 15-1=14. So it wasn't 16 days, or 3 weeks. There was no paperwork anywhere saying an end date. None. But they told me flat out I was wrong and there was no recourse. They made me feel as if I couldn't do math. I asked if there was anything I could do- I spent over $600 for a phone that reboots randomly throughout the day. The guy who sold me the phone was there and said he would do what he could- he would have to do me favors and try to word it so that the director/ area supervisor person for GoWireless would be more likely to approve of the return. A typical unprofessional us vs them. They were the same company, but I had to understand that he was going way out of his way to try to help me. He pretty much guaranteed that things would be ok, but it wouldn't be the next day before he knew anything. That's fine. I wait until Monday. Nothing. Tueday. Nothing. Finally Wednesday after calling a 3rd time I am told by a completely helpless manager that there was nothing she could do to help me and hoped that I would consider purchasing from there in the future. Uh, what? Why in the world would I do that? This whole transaction was completely unprofessional. The decision they made was incorrect. I called Verizon and they told me that if it was a regular Verizon store they would have taken it back. They asked me the store name/ location so they could chastise the store for its unprofessional treatment. Don't get me wrong, I love Verizon. Their Customer Service is great. GoWireless is an amazingly poor representation of a great company. I highly advise anyone thinking of doing any business with them to walk over to Best Buy instead. read more

I originally had an issue with the store and had left a negative review. However, the district manager reached out to me and was very professional and very apologetic for the issues that occurred. He was actually sincere and I felt he truly cared about the customer. He worked with me to fix the issue and ensured I was very satisfied with the resolution. This is the type of customer service that made me change my review from negative to positive. I don't expect any employee or company to be perfect but I do expect them to own up to their mistakes and this is what the district manager did. I stopped by this location to find out about a deal that I had seen. The sales person *name unremembered* was extremely helpful. they stated that the sale was only at the location I had seen it at, but called about 4 different people to see if they could honor the same deal. I ended up getting my phone, accessories and insurance for the exact same price as at the other guys. However, I got the accessories AND the insurance all wrapped into the same price. now that customer service!! read more
