They send me e-mail notices when payment is due. This is the best pawn shop ever!!! I'm still shopping here. Every time I go in, the guys are friendly as ready to answer any questions I might have. What I really like is their text alerts. If you have something on lay away, they'll text you to make payment without you loosing it! Today I went in to pay on a layaway and ended up getting more tools on layaway. They have great prices on the tools I need to fill out my tool chests. They remind you via text message to come in and make a small payment. They use modern technology to help their customers. I recommend this shop over any others. It's in Hutto but worth the drive!!

I shopped here because of Matt and he was let go. I should have taken that this place is changing. It has changed this in so many words of how it is now. This store #44 I will not be doing my business with any longer. They don't care about my life's collectables. I want you to know the district manager Raul meet me and he came through for me. Then the manager of the store tries to take credit for what he did for me. I got back my pride a joy of collectors back. In short, they took it out of original box and placed it an old soft case of someone else's. I said," wait a minute it was in original box". She went back again. The interaction, attitude, the level of disrespect and etiquette was about as bad as it could get. I needed $400 for a small real estate deal this afternoon, not wanting to take a cash advance on a card and I thought wow, I've lived in Leander for over 10 years, driven by this store on my way to the car wash next door. Lemme see what I can get. First off, I'm extremely aware of the idea what we have is never worth as much as we think. I've traded in dozens of sets of clubs over the past 50 years, I use the PGA Retail Value trade in guide as a barometer and their book is vers valuable. It's solid. Dicks Sporting Goods, PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy all use this very guide. And I get it, they only had 2 bags of clubs in there they wanted $60-$100 for and 1 were more than 10 years old, and 1 set was at least 20 years old. I was polite, waited patiently, wasn't expecting anything else...and he wouldn't give me more than $100 for the clubs on a loan, and I couldn't replace the bag & clubs for under $1500. Impossible. Of course, that's probably why they don't have any clubs in there because they're dismissive and rude, and it's fine because I don't need the money that bad. What this little man didn't know was I had a Tag in my pocket I would've sold for $$ he could've made nice money on but once the disrespectful tone & attitude took over that was a non-starter for me. I pawned the clubs elsewhere for $350, which all I really needed. I won't be back, I'll never forget.

Examples they have a Martin DXME for sale for $699. They have never sold that high. They sell for $450 and below based on over 20 recorded sales. You're looking at paying $250 more than highest price ever sold. Even brand new they were $600. They have a Takamine EF261BS listed for $829. The only one ever listed for sale online was $295. Every item I looked at was priced at the highest price of market, which is their choice to price, though I don't think people go to pawn shops to pay highest price that can be found. But having items overpriced at hundreds higher than they've ever sold for is getting ripped off or taken advantage of. Use extreme caution when buying here.
