I messaged him and said that he should mark items sold so people don't waste their time driving over. Not to mention anytime leaving the house is a health risk with Covid. He snarky replied, "you should text before coming". A better answer would be sorry it slipped my mind. BTW, the post is still up, trying to lure people on false advertising.

They were notified that the police would be collecting the bike. After the fact, I messaged them asking if it was still available for sale, and they said yes! They were very eager to get rid of it before the police could show up to get it. Very, very shady. The police said the person that sold it to then used a fake ID, so they must not check ID's of sellers very closely either. I would not recommend ever supporting this business!

They send me e-mail notices when payment is due. This is the best pawn shop ever!!! I'm still shopping here. Every time I go in, the guys are friendly as ready to answer any questions I might have. What I really like is their text alerts. If you have something on lay away, they'll text you to make payment without you loosing it! Today I went in to pay on a layaway and ended up getting more tools on layaway. They have great prices on the tools I need to fill out my tool chests. They remind you via text message to come in and make a small payment. They use modern technology to help their customers. I recommend this shop over any others. It's in Hutto but worth the drive!!

Haven't pawned anything in 15 years but the last time I did it was a set of golf clubs, bag,…read moreputters, just like today. That experience was amazing, this was just insulting. The interaction, attitude, the level of disrespect and etiquette was about as bad as it could get. I needed $400 for a small real estate deal this afternoon, not wanting to take a cash advance on a card and I thought wow, I've lived in Leander for over 10 years, driven by this store on my way to the car wash next door. Lemme see what I can get. First off, I'm extremely aware of the idea what we have is never worth as much as we think. I've traded in dozens of sets of clubs over the past 50 years, I use the PGA Retail Value trade in guide as a barometer and their book is vers valuable. It's solid. Dicks Sporting Goods, PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy all use this very guide. And I get it, they only had 2 bags of clubs in there they wanted $60-$100 for and 1 were more than 10 years old, and 1 set was at least 20 years old. I was polite, waited patiently, wasn't expecting anything else...and he wouldn't give me more than $100 for the clubs on a loan, and I couldn't replace the bag & clubs for under $1500. Impossible. Of course, that's probably why they don't have any clubs in there because they're dismissive and rude, and it's fine because I don't need the money that bad. What this little man didn't know was I had a Tag in my pocket I would've sold for $$ he could've made nice money on but once the disrespectful tone & attitude took over that was a non-starter for me. I pawned the clubs elsewhere for $350, which all I really needed. I won't be back, I'll never forget.

Waaayyy overpriced. Many items hundreds above highest ever recorded sale and fair market value…read more Every item I looked it was at least on highest side of market. Examples they have a Martin DXME for sale for $699. They have never sold that high. They sell for $450 and below based on over 20 recorded sales. You're looking at paying $250 more than highest price ever sold. Even brand new they were $600. They have a Takamine EF261BS listed for $829. The only one ever listed for sale online was $295. Every item I looked at was priced at the highest price of market, which is their choice to price, though I don't think people go to pawn shops to pay highest price that can be found. But having items overpriced at hundreds higher than they've ever sold for is getting ripped off or taken advantage of. Use extreme caution when buying here.

Their layaway terms are VERY reasonable and I have always received a fair price and never have to worry about a return issue. Recently when the ICE storm and power blackouts happened, the electrical surges caused our fairly large SONY TV to fail, I was so pleased that the SAMSUNG used TV at their store not only was a great affordable price, but also the quality of that brand is outstanding! We will always highly recommend Best Pawn both at their Austin - Lake creek & Research location as well as their Cedar Park Store! SE Webb - Austin, Texas ~
