Unfortunately, I will never do business here again. For almost 10 years this was the only pawn shop that I used. The old crew there was great. They were always friendly, and I never once had a problem. I felt like I knew the the people who worked there, got a lot of great deals, doing business there was a pleasure. That all changed, roughly a year ago.
A new woman there, (I guess a manager?) is, to put it mildly, Very
Unpleasant. When I brought items in, I was interrogated. I started to see less and less of the old crew, and the staff that was there definitely seemed to be intimidated by this woman. Not only has she never had a decent thing to say, but has outright insulted me and been untruthful. During my last attempt to do business there, I was once again interrogated, yelled at, and was told she didn't "like the way I looked".
Whats a middle aged, employed person that has been doing business at the same location for nearly ten years look like? Me, I guess.
Good grief.
I feel a bit sorry for the remaining staff. I watched her yell at a poor girl who was trying to order her lunch. The inventory is down by about half as well. I guess other people don't appreciate that kind of behavior either. Its just a shame. Do yourself a favor, don't do business here. read more
