I've visited these guys a couple of times now. First, I brought them my Gears of War XBOX One to diagnose because it was not powering on. They happened to have a new power supply on hand, so they swapped the problem power supply out and had my XBOX One ready for me within a few days. It was $90 bucks. I thought that was very reasonable for the service and quick turn around. Thanks guys! I love my XBOX One again! Funny how that happens when it'll actually turn on. The second time I saw these guys was to see if they could change out my battery for my Samsung Note 9 phone. They weren't able to help me with this because they have a co tract with Samsung and Samsung no longer manufactured the batteries, thus they could not order a replacement. They did direct me to somewhere I might find the droids, erm, I mean, battery I'm looking for. They were professional, efficienct and extremely helpful. They said it would take 2 hours max to be fixed and gave them a number to text us once it's done, they never did we called and they said oh yeah it can't be fixed after waiting 4 hours. Once I got my phone back that had issues charging, the screen wasn't working at all and I couldn't get into my phone during the set up process once I got a new phone. I scheduled an appointment for my laptop to be cleaned and checked for any other problems. It was making a rattling sound and heating up. Their website states there would be no payment until after repair. When I showed up I was told I had to pay a $81.19 for a diagnostic fee before they would do anything but would be credited toward any repairs. I paid and they took my laptop. I was also told it could take up to a week to get my laptop back. I was called the next day and told it was ready to pick up and that the only problem was it needed to be cleaned. My laptop doesn't make the rattling noises anymore and isn't so quick to heat up. However, after about 2 weeks later I went to turn on the fans and the button didn't work. I called and was told it was probably a software issue and that I could look up how to fix the problem or bring it back in and possible wait a week for them to fix the problem. My laptop has also had problems with being slow to respond to anything since I've got it back and will randomly shut down completely without warning. I haven't brought it back because I don't have confidence in them at this point. A simple cleaning that should have cost $30, according to their price listed, cost me $81 and now my computer has problems that it didn't have before. read more

Never answers phone, never calls back, never sticks to time estimates... TERRIBLE customer service.. Dropped off iPad that was stuck in "apple logo reboot loop" as instructed by Asurion.. they said should be fixed in 5 days.. 8 days later... Nothing... I called the their store, no answer... Left voicemails, nobody calls back.. Drive to the store, they claim it's a bad charge port. I told them it's not, it charges fine... Then they say, oh it's the battery... again, it charges fine and holds a charhe... oh, well, parts are ordered and will be 1 week longer.. then, nothing.. I drive back to the store 10 days later.. they have no idea what's wrong and the technician working my case is not there.. they promised they will call me by end of day... Crickets... No call.. And since nobody answers the phone and they never call back, I will have to drive back to the store again tomorrow..... Ugh.. it's been going on 3 weeks and my Asurion claim still shows as "Taking a look....". I.e. they haven't even diagnosed the issue yet ... Not even worth the time. First we took an iPad that they quoted us a week turn around. Fine, I get it cause it was pretty shattered and needed to order a screen. a week later we call, no answer. I go in, they had a "back order" and hadn't gotten it. 3 days after that, still nothing so we go in. They "just got it." Almost 2 weeks later we got it. Should of learned my lesson the first time. Went in with a cracked phone after making an appointment over the phone. Was told a screen was in and $70-$100 quoted with a 30 minute turn around cause I scheduled. Walk in, the appointment is there but they only have the expensive $400 screen and it's a 3-4 hour turn around. Have confirmation proof and info on it of the quote. The guy said "oh well. Don't know what to tell you" Serious waste of time each time. Won't try for a third. read more

Never again to this place.... Very irresponsible. When you drop the item for repair, they tell you it takes a day or two to diagnose and will call you with the estimate. Once you approve, will order the part. Once receive the part, we can fix it the same day. All sound perfect. But they never call you back. When you call, they tell you wrong information. After 13 days I had to take my laptop back when I found that they have not ordered the part even after I approved the estimate 7 days back. I wish i could give this place a better review. I called and left a message to get a quote for my backscreen on my Iphone 13 pro. No one called me back. Then i saw that they offered a chat on their company website. The gave me a quote for the repair, told me the nearest location and asked if i wanted to set an appointment. I waited to get other quotes but in the ended decided to go with them. So i made the appointment through there website , that was easy and they asked what phone i had, model, make, and what needed to be fixed. When in this morning at my appointment time for the guy to literally look at me and go we cant fix that. So i asked why would your website let me make this appointment and why did no one tell me this. He had no answers so i walked out. I then used the online chat tool to let their company know that they need to correct these issues and that this is not how a business should be ran. The frontline service and repair people were fantastic -- quick, reliable, friendly, in short everything I could've asked for. However, I'm not a fan of the corporate franchise model. I specifically called in to the main line before bringing my phone in and was quoted $160 for repair. I asked several questions to ensure that this was locked in and wouldn't change, and the person in the phone told me I could absolutely expect that price when I walked in. Once I arrived though, they'd only do the repair for $180. By then I had already driven 30min so had to just bend over and take it. My issue is with UBreakIFix's communication and reliability as an organization overall, not with this specific branch. read more

This was the most ridiculous experience ever. We wasted 4 hours between this location and the Round Rock location. An hour after we dropped the phone off, they called to tell us "find my iPhone" was still on and had to be turned off. Whatever, that's our fault. My husband went back in and did it in front of the cashier and he took it back saying we were good. After finding stuff to do in town while we waited the 2 hours they said it would take to fix the screen on the phone, we showed up to ask the status. We were told "we were about to get started on it but Find my iPhone is on". Weird. Not once in the 2 hour window did they call to say they still couldn't start on the phone. We recently had my daughter's laptop serviced here. Let me start by saying that the technician we had was very pleasant and communicated with us regularly, so I have no complaints with him directly. My main issue is with the owners/management. We were told our daughter's laptop would take 5 days to fix, to which we said please proceed. Mind you, the quote we received was twice the amount of going through Dell directly, but because our daughter was at college with no laptop we were in a hurry to get it fixed...THE only reason we agreed to pay double so we could get it back to her ASAP. The first time, the screen they ordered to replace the screen came in "cracked" so they said they were back to square one and had to reorder it. They told us it would take another week but we really had no choice but to wait. Flash forward a week later, we get a call that this time they ordered the wrong "screen" but it was not their fault because they used a different vendor/supplier that they typically do not use. Long story short, we finally got our daughter's laptop back which took about 3 weeks. The part that I have the BIGGEST problem with is management. When I asked if anything could be done to satisfy us as a customer, as in any kind of discount be given to already the price that was double. The response I received was mindboggling to me saying , "no, I'm afraid not, we already are only making about $20 on this deal from our end because of all the issues that occurred." If you go out to a restaurant and your meal gets messed up, or your steak is overcooked, what typically happens? The restaurant will comp your meal or at the very least give you some kind of discount to maintain your future business. The owner/management of this location basically said we were out of luck, and had the attitude of since it was not their fault directly (in my book, YOU are the ones making the decision on which supplier to use and YOU are the one who is placing the order for the wrong LCD screen) that they were still going to charge us full price (5 day quote turned into over 3 weeks). Shame on you for running your business this way. I am in sales, and even if I don't like it, I will always do the right thing to keep a client happy. A small discount even for our inconvenience and patience would have gone a long way, instead now they get this review and I will be sure to make sure everybody I know that needs a computer repair does not take their business here. read more

I took my phone in to have get a broken screen replaced, said it would take 3-4hrs. I came back later that day and the phone wasn't ready. They said by closing, 7:00PM. Came back the next day after noon, and still not ready. He said another hour or so. I gave him around 2hrs. When I got there no one came to the front to see what I needed. I stuck my head around the back to let them know I was there. He then brought me my phone, said he ran a Samsung diagnostic on it, which he said take 20-30 minutes after having my phone 3 days, and said it failed so they can't fix it. I was under the impression they could fix anything. This was coming out of my pocket not Samsung's. I took it to Best Buy to see what they could do and told them about the diagnostic test and they didn't know what I was talking about. I will not take anything to UBREAKIFIX again. read more
