I was having a baby and my phone broke I went into the store Jon not only helped me order a brand-new iPhone 6 he gave me a replacement to have a phone at the birth of my first child. The next morning the iPhone 6 that we had ordered came in the mail Jon not only programmed my iCloud and set everything up perfectly for me but he personally delivered my phone to the hospital!! yes what you are reading is true. Let me say this....I was going to write a review based on a HORRIBLE experience here with Tracee, but I couldn't even give her 1 star. It was too generous. That said, I called and spoke with a manager, Chad, about the way I was treated the previous day. He was apologetic, understanding, professional, classy and extremely competent....completely the opposite of my first trip to the store. I went back and he set me up with Jesse Hart who was FABULOUS!! He listened, was extremely customer service oriented and was bending over backwards to accommodate me. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me options, never pushing for something I wasn't comfortable with. I walked away happy and completely taken care of, and dare I say, I had a great time! This store promotes their employees to rip you off. If something they say sounds too good to be true, it is. Got suckered into a 2 yr payment on a defective phone. After bringing in my old phone to have it replaced because it was insured and broken, I was told I could walk out with a new phone for no charge. Then they tell me I can't apply the trade in value of my old phone to,my Bill. I had to purchase something in store. Then when that wasn't working in the way he was manipulating the computer, he started editing prices. Verizon loves employees like him. When they have an incentive program for their employees like they do. They ripped me off for $750 and now I am stuck with a phone I hate. Bye bye Verizon. You lost a $6,000/yr account. A con company. I am 76 years old and have had cell phones with 4 different companies. Never had a problem. I went into cellulars sales. I not know it Was Not a Verizon Store. Told the sales man I want a basic prepaid phone for no more than 30.00 a month plus taxes. The salesman Desmond said no problem. He then told me I get a free chromebook for signing up. I said are there any charges for this book. He said no. (Not True.) He then said. We do not do prepaid in this office. You have to go on Verizon web site and change this program after we activate the account. (Not True.) I assume this man was telling the truth and said ok. We finished the contract and I went home. I got on Verizon and seen what he had done. It absolutely amazed me. $64 a month for 24 months. plus rental fees, plus a $100 loan. I immediately tried to change it when Verizon told me they could not do anything. cellularsales is not part of Verizon.\ I returned the next day to terminate the contract. I turned in all the equipment and told them I want it terminated. The sales lady finished the paper work and said the contract was terminated. Not True. I went out of town for a few days and returned to find the account was still active on Verizon. I Returned immediately and told the salesperson I am staying in this office until the account is terminated. Then she pulled all kinds of delaying tactics. I have never been so upset with Matt Lagnese, from Rochester, NY. I was mislead from the very beginning. I had purchase 2 phones total from Matt plus I had encouraged other family members of mine to also. I was told "If you buy from me you deal with me" That he would take care of any customer Service needs, and that the beauty of purchasing a phone through Cellular Sales was that if I needed to do an Insurance Claim I would get a "NEW Phone NOT a Like new refurbished phone" Both were not true. I did not have a phone concern at all with phone #1 so naturally I had returned when #2 became a need. I was in one of the locations and he said he could upgrade me from a 2G to a 5G with no increase to my bill, seeing I was on Auto-pay. My bill did change. He would not even consider looking into as to why. He just told me to "Let It Go". I did not want my bill to take an increase. After months of customer service I was told I needed to pay by a direct withdraw from my checking account, or a Debit card attached to my checking account. On month 5 my bill was finally correct. I informed Matt as to why my bill was wrong so he would know going forward. He replied back That I am the only one that this has happened too. In a tone where he was not going to be corrected by anyone. I thought the information would be useful for himself in going forward. He could of corrected this for me with one phone call vs me making several phone calls over the course of 4 months. When I said Please look into why I am wasting so many hours with customer service, He said Everyone has to call customer service. ( hmm what happened to buy from me deal with me) In month 5 I had water damage to my phone. I reached out again to Matt. He sent me a link for ASSURIAN. I contacted a nice woman, we began my claim only for me to learn I was not insured by ASSURIAN. I sent Matt a message, asking for help ,,,,NO RESPONSE. I went to my bank 2 days later asking them who has been taking the Ins. payment. They gave me a name and number for TECH PROTECT, the number was a disconnected number. I reached out again for a proper number. I received a number to try. At the time of my purchase Matt never upgraded my phone details to ASSURIAN, nor to TECH PROTECT... I had gone through a run around to prove my proof of purchase. MATT LAGNESE REFUSED TO HELP ME. These errors were his. I have had so many frustrating hours on the phone with trying to complete my claim. At one point a rep wanted him to call them. I had to borrow my mothers cell phone each time I needed to place calls. I called Matt and said I just spoke with a rep. and they want you to call them them. He said "NO I DON'T DO THAT" Mind you between my billing , now my claim I am 51/2 months in with NO HELP. I firmly said his name MATT I need your help. He said Do not yell at me. I said I'm not yelling. I am aggravated I need your help.I have reached out several times and you don't respond. You said Buy from me you deal with me. for all my customer service needs. I need help. each of these latest things have been your error that needs correcting. My phone was never updated with either Ins. Co. I'm not even Insured with who you have on my contract. He said LET IT GO. I'm with a customer . He hung up on me and Blocked me. I called Knoxville Tenn. to find a nice man named who assisted me. I guarantee everyone I will never return to cellular sales. My frustration with Matt started 1st couple of days in July. Today is Nov 24th and am now locked out of my account. Just received my replacement . But will need to go into a location from the to unlock my account. read more

This service was horrible I have been working for Verizon for 3+ years in California and unfortunately my mother lives in Bend Oregon I had advised her to go to her local Verizon store and get a new device. I know the ins and outs or Verizon and how they work . This indirect store charged my mom an upgrade fee was what the first representative called it of 40 dollars. Well when I heard that I had my mom go back into the store and put me on the phone with the representative . It was a different person because the other person had gone home. Well this representative had told me that the reason they charged my mom a 40 dollar fee was because they go above and beyond for their customers and they transfer all data he then said he would wave this for the second line my mom had bought, which fine no problem me thinking my mom got superb customer service . Once I hung up she then told the representative everything you told my daughter wasn't true. I didn't get that customer service that he was talking about. My mom was so upset she wanted to return the devices and he then told her his wife would kill him if he didn't get home and he couldn't help me. This store doesn't deserve 1 star ! Me working for Verizon I know this is unacceptable and you should avoid this store ! The payment on the devices are also higher monthly ! AVOID! read more

Very unhappy with the experience here. Was told we could trade in our Moto X unlocked, 32gb phones for newer Moto X phones (were given 16gb, not enough storage) with $100 each trade in. Had to return next day and spend another hour while they gave us older LG phones (steered away from promotional offer of Samsung phones). Later, discovered we could not receive the trade in rebates since only good on Motorola phones. Jesse did a bait and switch. Agree with other unhappy reviewers! read more

This store has the worst customer service. If I had known before there was another option, I would have used it. Since I have discovered there is a corporate store further north on 97 with better service. I used this store 3 times. Each time treatment was incredibly rude. I was misinformed on options ( only knew because had spoken to phone support first), insulted for suggesting they try what tech support suggested, and because I did not have my full deceased husband's business account information, treated like I did not know what a computer is. Sent to Walmart by them since I was pegged as poor when I wanted to add a small cheap phone. (an account I pay over $200 a month for) They ask for your secure passcodes and Verizon passwords which I refused to give. Had to insist I type in myself. I rarely write reviews, but they have turned dealing with my deceased husband's business dealings into a nightmare. No other company I dealt with was like this. I only stuck with Verizon through this because I need the coverage area they have. read more

My father, 78, Disabled American Veteran, with limited knowledge and understanding of any devices, went to this store and was misled. He went in to get his friend a phone because she lost it, and was taken advantage of. John Gonzales, explained everything to my father, who supposedly understood what he was purchasing. A $760 smartphone, Samsung Tablet, screens for both, cases for both and a Samsung fast Charge Wireless Stand. My father has issues using a DVD player. This was the second time he had gone into this same store and bought and Moto Z for himself. He has a hard time figuring out how to answer said phone. John Gonzales explained that he was giving my father back all his money, but, had to take back the buyback for the lost phone of $180. His total refund to date, which will be mailed I am told, will be around $76. Let's just say, Not a Fan of these individuals that take advantage of the elderly!! Oh did I also say that John Gonzales said my dad knew what he was doing and seemed completely fine when he was getting out of his brand new car?! Really, I think he spotted a person he thought was vulnerable with money. Shame on you!!! Do Not Give this place any of your money, go to a real Verizon Store! NOT happy with our experience at this Verizon. this Verizon is a CON!! they will trick you into thinking you are getting a free device(iPhone 6s in our case) and then end up having to pay monthly fees to pay it off! very unfair in my opinion. not to mention my upgrade which I was eligible for two months ago ( and did not use yet) and now is not eligible until NEXT year! so confused on how that happened and why we are being charged monthly payments if my upgrade was taken? very upset and was looking forward to my upgrade for over a year due to my phone having a cracked screen and other issues. do not recommend. read more

This store is a compete rip off, with unprofessional liar salespeople just looking to take your money and not do their job right! My fiance and I came in to sign up for a joint phone plan together with the promise of 2 weeks satisfaction guarantee. After signing up on Friday and leaving the store we ended up spending the entire weekend unable to make or receive calls bc ALEX didnt do his job right in porting our numbers correctly or making sure that the accounts were setup correctly.( we couldnt come in sooner to resolve this bc we went out of town) We returned on Sunday, 3 days later, to cancel our plan which we had been super disappointed. I then explained the entire situation and had been told that I had to pay a restocking fee of $35! Just to get this over with, I paid it and was told that since we were within the 72 hour period that we would not be billed for anything and they were sorry they lost us as customers. (we then went directly to Costco and signed up with Sprint at the kiosk and had excellent service and got awesome brand new Samsung SG5's as their promotion, instead of the crappy iphone 5c verizon sold us on bc it was their only promotion? even tho this kiosk offered this same promotion with verizon, tho at this point we no longer wanted to use them) We then find out that since we cancelled our plan with verizon since they screwed up so much, that we both lost our numbers which we had for years! hers from Ft Lauderdale FL, and Mine from Portland...We left happily and had our phones setup correctly and immediately. Then, a week later, we get a bill for $221 from Verizon!? We called corporate, they let us know that the location we signed upa and cancelled at didnt refund us correctly and instead actually ended up charging us alot more!!!! They apologized and promised that everything would be zeroed out since we cancelled and everything within 72 hours. another week later, we receive a bill for $721!!!!! After calling back, they tell us that the supervisor didnt approve the last CSR's attempt to fix the problem bc that was an issue that the store we signed up at had to fix. They totally understood our dismay and reassured us that this was not a common occurrence. They then three way called the store and explained that they needed to fix this, so they took our information, which also didnt come up in their system bc it wasnt entered correctly, image that!? So another week goes by and we dont hear back from them so instead of going in and causing a scene I call and finally get back in touch with TRACIE, who assures me she has done everything they could and finally got the $700 in early termination fees reversed, bc we cancelled within 72 hours, so basically, if you are still going to use this location to sign up, do not forget to cancel within 72 hours!!! that still left $82 for charges, which were for "usage" even tho we couldnt even use our phones bc they werent setup correctly by that moron ALEX, and TRACIE assured me there was nothing more she could do and just gave me the number to some guy on the east coast that never returned my call or text...Finally, we got back on the phone with customer care and got approval for the activation fees and "usage" fees removed...she couldnt send us any proof of this however, so I wouldnt be suprised to still get another bill, but if she actually was able to follow through with what we had been promised on 3 other occasions then bless her heart! All together, this experience was a compete nightmare and this location is a cutthroat careless not customer caring cell phone center. DO NOT GO HERE! Verizon is a good company, but this place is a terrible representation of the brands image and we were seriously disappointed, if I could put zero stars I would. read more

I purchased a phone from this store back in August, and the initial experience was great; the employees were professional and I like the phone. I would rate this business 5-stars if their follow-through service was par with their manipulative sales techniques. I was promised a $100 rebate with my purchase as long as I followed the instructions provided by the rep who sold me the phone. Well, it turns out that his instructions were less than thorough. And after being told by LG (the phone company offering the rebate) that I was shit out of luck, the sales rep seems to be falling back on his promise to refund me the amount of the rebate. I've been patiently waiting for about three months and I've inquired several times for an update, but all I receive are vague excuses that demonstrate incompetence. Whether or not I receive the rebate/refund, I received poor customer service and I don't feel like a valued customer. read more

Called and ordered an iPhone SE 64GB as an upgrade (in color not in stock) from this store on 6/23 and was emailed a photocopy of the transaction -was told it would take 2-3 working days. Having not heard anything by 6/30 emailed the rep (Les):.. no response. Called the next day and was told its in and I had been called and left a message (had not). Told them no problem, would be in after the holiday break. Went in Friday am early and greeter looked and could not locate iPhone but could find my order. Greeter called Les to inquire where it might be but had to leave message. Asked for Manager to call me and sent another email to Les on Friday to see if I could get an email response. No response from Rep or a call from Store Manager (or anyone by Sunday pm). Hard to see how a business can be run like this and survive. Mistakes happen...but no response from anyone? Given there are many other local Verizon alternatives out there suggest they be seriously explored. read more
