I needed a replacement bulb for a floor lamp. They didn't have it in stock but indicated they had a resource where they could order the bulb for me. They took my name and phone number and said they would call me back when my order came in. After waiting 3 weeks and not hearing back from them, I called them. The sales person I spoke with on the phone said he couldn't find my order but he would look into it. He took my name and phone number and said he would call right back. It's now been two more weeks and I haven't heard back from them. Needless to say, I will never go back into this store again. read more

Stopping in to get a new cell phone battery for the wife and these clowns didn't fail to disappoint. After signing a disclaimer that would allow them to completely explore and exploit her phone they said it'll be don't in about an hour and they'd call me when it's ready. An hour and a half later I call to check status and the drone says, oh all the cellular phone batteries are done and ready. I asked what happened to the call me plan? He said well, he either forgot or we were slammed busy. Based on the 5-1 staff to customer ratio I think it was the latter...hopefully they weren't surfing porn and infected her phone with any viruses in the process. This store helped me put a whole variety of LED lights throughout my RV. I have bought vehicle batteries, button batteries for various applications, phone batteries (after a local Verizon franchise told me the battery couldn't be replaced, in one case), even one or two Xmas presents there. I have always gotten good service. Just today, I got great service in having key fob batteries replaced. As a retired advisor to CEOs, with an eye for how businesses both execute operations and apply psychology, I really get a kick out of such finely tuned operations. I had a bad key fab that anti theft locked me out. The dealership wanted a week before they could get me in and hundreds of dollars for a new fab and with installation. I went in with questions and my broken fab. The very knowledgeable employee, Dean, was quick to help and provide me with answers with how to fix. I was able to buy 2 new fabs and get the fabs connected the same day and within 30 minutes! He was so helpful. I can't believe people still go to the dealership for Fabs! I bought a car battery 11/2018 that went bad! Numerous jumps and taken to the mechanic and they determined a bad battery ~ put a new one in of their own and my car showed no problems after much diagnostic test other than a bad battery~ I returned the battery to battery and bulbs and they did their test on it and said the battery was fine? Really not been fine for 6 months! Won't replace it~ Now I have to buy another battery! They don't give warranties to their bad batteries I won't be back! Kinda poor policy when I have proof it's bad Ok now they say it was fine?? Just dead multiple times charged for days at my mechanics shop their equipment showed a bad battery! I just visited the Bend, OR store and had an employee tell me that customers without masks are not to be served unless they were outside. He stated this was "from corporate" and told me twice I was on camera while pointing at it. I'm not sure if this to reinforce his statement or an attempt to intimidate me, but it didn't change my mind. I'm curious if this stance truly is "from corporate" or if this employee was enjoying the power trip. I have purchased items from this store over the past three years and have been stoked about the service and prices. However, I stopped in yesterday and needed a new battery for my car key. I met Moses and he said, "sure, no problem. We have two choices, the first is a lifetime guarantee and the other is just a battery." I said, I just needed the battery. He said no problem, took it back, and replaced the battery. I thought that was a nice service. He then rings me up and it was $12.95! I couldn't believe how expensive it was. I then asked if they sell the batteries individually or in a two-pack and how much they were. He said they sell the batteries for $4.50. HE CHARGED ME $8.50 for a 20-second battery replacement. I WAS SHOCKED! I explained to this young person Moses, that he took advantage of me and didn't offer a third option (which I am sure most would want to do) which was to buy the battery and take care of it myself. Moses became super rude! I asked him, "are you serious right now." Then I said you can apologize for trying to take advantage of me, or I can ask for your manager. He responded with "what should I apologize for." I requested the $8.50 back and asked to speak with a supervisor. He basically gave me the same response. I will NOT be coming back to this store and I would encourage management to train their staff to not take advantage of their clients! read more

Great customer service, helped me tremendously figure out a battery and inverter set up without making me feel rushed. Great on exchanges as long as it's within their two week return policy window and or you have the receipt and it's not been months on end since you bought the product. I have done business with this store mostly in Gresham but i am glad to find it in Bend too. You can find most battery, plugs, lights... I brought two watches there to get batteries replaced last week. Biggest mistake of my life. I brought in one of my wife's watches which was very nice Baume and Mercier . WHAT WAS I THINKING TO LET ONE OF THESE IMBECILES OPEN A REALLY NICE WATCH? I cant explain it. I actually thought they might know what they were doing. My fault. A few days later my wife said the watch was not keeping the correct time. I took it back to this store and realized the back of the watch was missing. It was then that I realized that the person that replaced the battery did not properly put the back of the watch back on. I mentioned this when I brought it back. THEY COULD CARE LESS. Again my mistake for thinking they know what they are doing. My advise to anyone is DO NOT BRING ANY WATCH THAT YOU VALUE TO THIS PLACE. EVER. They should just change their name to just bulbs. Called today to check the prices for a Laptop battery. K53E. I knew thy were gonna try and rip me off but i didn't know how much. the battery I can order with free shipping is a brand new 9cell 7800mAh Battery. THIS battery exceeds the required specs from ASUS. unlike the 6 cell CHRIS was trying to sell me with his useless jargon. I used to own a PC business and i DO know what i'm talking about when it comes to Laptops, PC's repair, maintenance, optimization and component ordering and i NEVER ripped my customers off. CHRIS told me he could order it (SO CAN I !!!!) and it would cost me 89.00!! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!! That is a total rip-off. I took my iPhone in to get my cracked screen fixed. Somehow while being repaired different components stopped working. The knowledgeable staff tried many different things to get it working again but it remained broken. They said the combination of things that were malfuntioning were something they haven't seen before and pointed more to software but since it stopped working in their care they quickly ordered me a replacement phone which I am happily writing this review from. Very dissatisfied with the service at this batteries plus bulbs location. I have never been to a battery plus bulbs except for this one in Bend Oregon. Unfortunately I broke my screen on my Iphone 7 which ive had for 5 years now. It broke because I dropped a 300 lb dresser on it. So i went ahead and had the glass screen replaced and within a week it broke again just from being in my pocket and bending over. Since I had them replace the 1st screen I have had to go back 5 times now. When each glass screen is 100 a pop it really racks up. I have spent 500 dollars now in really poor quality glass screens. Its most likely they got a really good deal on the glass from China for 1$ a piece and now they push their poor product on to customers who will ultimatley have to go back again and have the screen replaced. Its a racket!! DONT GO THERE!! Not to mention the employee was very rude when I explained to her my situation. read more
