Prior experiences with cell phone sellers made us dread this upcoming visit for new phones. However, after this visit we had not only new phones but a wonderful new acquaintance and resource! Starting with our first phone call to this Bend location, John S. very patiently walked us through everything we needed to know to order new i-phone 13 Pros, answered each and every question, got us into better plans for less money and clearly stated what everything would cost. Buyer beware. Someone used my ID to purchase three phones and bill me. When attempting to resolve this issue, Verizon was of NO help! Even when I reported identity theft to local police, could the sergeant get any help from them. However, both my local bank and police guessed the perpetrated was Verizon. Apparently, other issues besides mine. Verizon needs to tighten their security and rethink their sales requirements. I am not a Verizon customer, nor will I ever be one. My daughter went in to Cellular Sales, Bend OR to get help with her two phones that were having issues with password lock outs on their gmail. Found out later it was just someone that hacked into their email and kept changing the password. At the Cellular Sales/Verizon store in Bend, OR, Jesse Hart said they could just trade in the phones for two new phones straight across. No additional cost. As I'm the account holder, I was shocked to see my monthly cell phone bill jump from 450.00 per month to 650.00. Yes that's a lot even for 7 lines. My daughter was totally taken advantage of. She traded in two very new working phones (only about 4 months old) with 500.00 balances and got two new ones with 980.00 balances. Doesn't look straight across to me! To add insult to injury - when I returned one of the phones within the 15 day grace period - they charged my a $30.00 restock fee. I suggest Verizon customers avoid Cellular Sales in Bend OR. BEWARE! I wrote a lengthy detailed review but erased accidentally.... So now Briefly: My daughter and I stopped in to resolve issues at the 'Verizon Store' in Countryside Mall Clearwater FL for our Samsung and Apple phones, were slickly sold new LG's as being easy to switch, superior quality, no lawsuits, and lower monthly bills. They used DATA rather than WIFI to transfer apps causing huge overages which we only discovered later, the phones and their cameras are Inferior, there were huge issues in switching phones still not resolved 6 weeks later, our monthly bills are higher, and all contract issues or returns can only be at Cellular Sales stores.... for which I had to drive 2 hours to be within the 14 day return time and was then slickly talked out of returning mine. They are NOT Verizon salespeople... They are slick pushy sales people, and are paid for making sales of their purchased and stocked products.... not for all product history or quality and what is best for customer. We both have spent many stressful hours resolving issues with Verizon's excellent customer service, but now it is too late to turn in phones and are both stuck for two more years. But also, Shame on Verizon. Cellular Sales uses Verizon signs and logos with no obvious difference. . I had this happen 2 years ago on a tablet purchase in Enfield MA, but only now realize the difference and reason for the slick sales techniques, the misinformation I was given, and the huge disadvantages in follow up after sales. So don't buy from Cellular Sales - Ever, and think twice about Verizon. My next carrier and next phone will both be selected with great research and care. read more

The lady that helped us was so deceitful that I am embarrassed for her there were several instances she flat out lied to us about what we could do with our service after the fact. We wanted to purchase the phone she skirted around put them on the bill and then we find out we can't pay for them we have to pay on time. I have not always had good luck with cell phone stores, but the customer service that I received from the store on 3rd Street in Bend, OR was beyond phenomenal! Over one year ago, the personnel at this store told my husband he would get $150 off our bill and a tablet if he upgraded. He upgraded (did get the tablet right then and there) but we never did get the promised money off. We have been to this store multiple times, waiting for someone to help us, speaking to a new person every time, who take much time "looking it up" in their computer, eventually agreeing that yes, he is supposed to get the discount, and that is the last we hear about it. The last woman we dealt with made a "personal promise" that we would get it but no dice. Every time we go there, there is some irate customer yelling at them about their service, making me feel like they do this kind of shenanigans to many, many customers. read more

We went to CellularSales to purchase a new phone for my husband. Our sales representative, Sam, offered us $300 for a sales promotion. He did not say the $300 would be prorated over the next two years. Sam also said he would give us an additional $100 sales promotion, but later told us he misspoke, and we were not eligible for the $100 promotion. When we decided to walk away from the purchase, Sam said he would honor the $100 deal. To us, this felt like a case of bait and switch. Sam did take time to explain the use of the new phone to my husband, and he worked with me to address several questions I had concerning my phone. read more

Drove out of way - showed up and they tried to charge us 2x the price promised (no prices marked on items so they can try to charge anything they feel like). So unprofessional and lazy. Really frustrated. Previously posted a 5 star review expressing my appreciation for the clarity and professionalism of the sales guy. However, 3 months later I'm still jumping through hoops having to clean up a mess that could have been avoided if he just did his job correctly and did what he had promised. The phones we traded in were never sent in. We never received a tracking code. I was waiting for months for a credit to be applied to my account. I was told it takes a few billing cycles so I waited. Low and behold, nothing was submitted until I called the store then all the sudden they're being sent it. I received some wacky discount on one bill with no explanation or description and nothing added to my next one. I chatted with Verizon on the app then was re directed to the trade in team where I was on hold for an hour and 10 mins. The promotion was never applied because they didn't receive my phones in time, I had to explain the whole story again and they had to make a revision which I now have to wait a week and follow up to make sure it's applied. Should have left when I wanted to initially before I got sucked into this scam. read more

I went into this store to buy a phone case and finally had to leave without anything. They started asking questions like whats your address, whats your email, who's name is on the other phones on your Verizon account what is your VERIZON PIN! I declined to give them some of this information and was told without this they could not sell me a phone case. Your kidding me, I am no privacy nut but they have no right to have this information. They are not Verizon and have no purpose being able to access my Verizon account in order to sell me a phone case. My advice...NEVER visit this store or use this company. read more

I stopped by to pick up a phone that I had ordered in-store 2 weeks prior. Though they promised to call when it arrived, I never heard anything so I had to hunt it down. When I went to pick it up, it took OVER AN HOUR to get my phone..:only 10 minutes were waiting for a sales associate, the rest was him trying to figure out how to activate it. Mind you, I had already gone into the store and worked with a sales associate to order it. Terrible experience and I honestly can't figure out what took so long. Bad service, I was sold two phones for my kids for a certain price come to find out that was not in fact the price I was going to be charged. But of course by the time you figure that out it is too late to return the phones. Contacted Verizon and was told to come go into this location since it's an authorized retailer. I feel like that should be explained to you not just a sticker that is partially peeled off on the door. How am I to know how that stuff works. Cooperate called me and basically told me too bad there was nothing they would do for me and they did not care they would lose my business. I will say the people I talked to in the store that made the claim were nice and as helpful as they could be. This is NOT a Verizon company store. They are an "authorized retailer." What this means in my experience is HIGH PRESSURE sales of crap you don't want. I went in because my tempered glass on my Pixel had cracked, so I needed a new one, and I also needed a car charger. The whole visit should have take 10 minutes, tops. I was there 30 minutes, while they continued to offer me a string of things I had NO interest in. New tablet? Roadside assistance device? (This one really cracked me up as their selling point was that I'd be able to track the speed and locations my kids are driving...I had my kids with me this particular day. My kids are 3 and 4 years old). No, no, no. Can I just get my new screen cover and a car charger? Turns out the car charger they sold me wasn't for my phone. (Since they don't let you browse, and they bring you what you "need", I fully blame them). The only good thing I'll say about the store is that they did refund me when I took it back. I found one on Amazon for half the price of what they sold me, and it actually works for my phone. read more

So I go in to buy a new IPhone. The salesman trys over and over to sell me an Android. I tell him I don't want to learn a new operating system. He insists I really want the Android, undoubtedly because he gets a spiff or commission for selling what they want to dump. I insist on an IPhone. He relents. He asks what I want to do with my old IPhone and tells me Verizon will give me 350 bucks credit for it. I assume he means 350 bucks credit NOW...but 'no', he says after I purchase the new phone...the credit will show on the next bill. Two billing cycles go by without credit. I call Verizon. They say my next bill will show a credit for 7 bucks. It should be 350 I say and I am told that it will be 300 but it is 'paid' over a period of TWO YEARS. These people are crooks! read more

This store is solely for retail sales. NEVER go there for service. We brought in new phones purchased elsewhere to set up sim cards and they not only gave us the wrong sim cards but they also managed to switch all the phone lines on our accounts. They then told us to come back in to "trouble shoot"...came back to be told in person they can't help and call tech support. Verizon online tech support no help...finally we went to the "corporate" Verizon at River Bend...they set us up in minutes. From now on we'll always go to River Bend. read more

After several months, I finally got the motivation to go to the Verizon store in Oneida, NY to get my cell phone repaired or upgraded. I met with Todd Serow, a wireless account manager. His patient manner in explaining my options and the differences immediately put me at ease. After all my questions I decided on 3 iPhones for our family. Todd took care of setting my phone up, answering A LOT of questions, and writing out directions so I could set up the other phones from home. When we had trouble doing so, I did as Todd suggested to call him directly. He helped us then, and then actually walked us through the back ups and set ups on both other phones Sunday afternoon, a process that took nearly 2 hours. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable and took me right through the process to the end! Can not thank you enough, Todd! Extremely happy with my experience! read more

They lie about the fees even if you ask them for the entire amount. Said their printer was broken and couldn't print the invoice, only to find out that it was for an $80 fee that they never disclosed. When I followed up I never received a response. Don't let the 1 star fool you, it's the only one to pick. No stars - negative stars would be my first choice. I would have expected a better experience from a company of this caliber, unfortunately that was not the case. When I added a new line to my plan Jesse Hart told me that the phone was FREE! That was not the case. After receiving my phone bill - there is was a charge for $730.00! Had we known is was not FREE, we would have just kept our own phone we had. After exhausting phone calls to Verizon Customer Service and having to go into the store 3 times to resolve this issue left me wondering what kind of company would take such advantage of me like this? There was no Manager in the store to talk to nor anyone with any Supervisor ability to talk to. I was given the run around with another salesman Kendall and literally told to come back on a Wednesday. Kendall even called Jesse Hart at home to discuss my issue over the phone. Jesse denied the free phone and I could literally HEAR him mock me over their conversation and Kendall laughed. Am I in Jr. High? Humiliated and angry I left. No one has bothered to call me back from this store to this day - even though I was told the Manager would be returning my calls. I have been shuffled around since the beginning of this free phone scam and it is still not resolved. It looks like they won, I got hammered paying for a new phone that was suppose to be free. Went into this store, needing a nano sim for my iphone 5, because it wouldn't activate on my account without a new one. When I walked into the door, they were not that busy, so a guy helped me. He went in the back to get a nano sim, he came back out, and said that will be $15. Every verizon store i've gone too- they've been free, and I told him that. I've been a customer for 3 years, told him that too, and regardless they wanted $15. My advice: Judging by the previous reviews and mine, I'd say to avoid giving your business to this store and go to the retail store near macys on the north end of town. These guys here are trying to make a buck off of something that costs nothing to them. read more

I was encouraged to write this complaint by VERIZON CORPORATE. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years and my experience up to my experience at this Bend Verizon Store was outstanding. My experience at this Bend location could not have been WORSE. After receiving assistance from Alexis Eudy and her associates at this Bend location: 1. The 15-20 minute quoted time to get a new phone took 2 hours. 2. I ended up with unnecessary charges, that Verizon Corporate removed. 3. In the process of changing my plan Alexis completely screwed up my account. Until it was fixed by Verizon Corporate Customer Service. Following this, VERIZON CORPORATE asked me to write this review. They were as unimpressed as I was. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!!! They are not educated in the Verizon products, the services that Verizon provides or how to implement either. Verizon is a great service provider and offers great products, just do business with locations and representatives who represent Verizon and their products and services well. I was having a baby and my phone broke I went into the store Jon not only helped me order a brand-new iPhone 6 he gave me a replacement to have a phone at the birth of my first child. The next morning the iPhone 6 that we had ordered came in the mail Jon not only programmed my iCloud and set everything up perfectly for me but he personally delivered my phone to the hospital!! yes what you are reading is true. Let me say this....I was going to write a review based on a HORRIBLE experience here with Tracee, but I couldn't even give her 1 star. It was too generous. That said, I called and spoke with a manager, Chad, about the way I was treated the previous day. He was apologetic, understanding, professional, classy and extremely competent....completely the opposite of my first trip to the store. I went back and he set me up with Jesse Hart who was FABULOUS!! He listened, was extremely customer service oriented and was bending over backwards to accommodate me. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me options, never pushing for something I wasn't comfortable with. I walked away happy and completely taken care of, and dare I say, I had a great time!
