Fork and Fire has an upscale Gastropub sort of vibe and offers an eclectic menu. My family and I visited on a Sunday around lunch time. Fork and Fire only offered their Brunch Menu at the time, which I didn't know. I was in more of a lunch mood, but they let me order the Black and Burger off the later menu, which was very nice. Not all cheeseburgers feature melty slices. The Black and Blue Burger featured Crumbled Blue Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Smoked Bacon and Chipotle Aioli, on Toasted Brioche. The burger was huge and well cooked. So juicy it dripped. A flavor bomb. I also ordered the famous Kitchen Sink wings for the table, along with a side of Blue Cheese AND Ranch. The wings were super juicy. Top Tier Juicy. But the outer texture was still appropriately crisp. The sauce was sweet and savory, with a little bit of heat. Great wings. And the side sauces were terrific too. Service was very good. The atmosphere was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their orders. 4.5 Stars

The textured walls are gorgeous and give the space a style it was definitely missing before. As usual, the happy hour menu never disappoints. The Pomjito is a personal favorite.. refreshing, light, and not too sweet. We also got the oysters and mussels, both solid. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. That said, we'll still be back for the great happy hour food and solid drinks. Now it's just a matter of finding a menu item I like... and hoping they keep it.

I was welcomed with a compliment about my hair, and I was attended to right a way. The staff offered their recommendations and made accommodations when the large soup lids ran out. I ordered 2 large chicken soups, and a medium curry goat for my Jamaican husband. Followed by a friendly request from the staff to compare & rate the taste between Rocky Hill & Bristol. My husband enjoyed the meal & hesitantly said the Bristol flavors were more tasty. He smiled at the innocent tasting competition between his fellow "yard man", and he's looking forward to giving his review in person. PRO: Friendly staff, flavorful food (Deeper flavors than Rocky Hill), off street parking, and close to UConn Hospital. Also, they were collecting for the recent disaster relief following Hurricane Melissa, bless their hearts. CON: Beverage fridge was near empty. There were only 4 homemade lemonades available to choose. Interior could use more wall art like the Rocky Hill location.

I've known about this place for a while, and a friend reminded me that they recently changed locations. We were seated in the bar area at a high table and were given two menus: a happy hour menu that lasted until 6 PM and their regular menu. We figured we'd order a few things off of their happy hour menu while it was still going on, then move on to the regular menu after 6 PM, since we knew we'd be there for at least a couple of hours. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, gnocchi, fries, wine, and a white Cosmo to start. My absolute favorite was the grilled shrimp appetizer, even though the other two were very good as well. My friend's favorite was the gnocchi. From the regular menu, I ordered the ham and cheese croquettes and she ordered the regular cheese croquettes since she is vegetarian. We loved those as well. These four tapas were enough to serve as our dinner and we didn't have to order anything else. The service was fantastic and I thought that everything was priced very well. I liked that there was a parking lot right next-door. A friend met us. Later on for a final drink and mentioned that he liked this new location better than the old location. I would definitely return and try different tapas. Their entrées also looked very good. I really like this location because you can walk around and do other things after dinner in the area.

There is an areas where it is more intimate and quieter and another area where there are high tables that are close to the bar area. Service in the bar area and in the dining area were both wonderful. Both the waitress and bartender were awesome! I liked that the menu had items labeled gluten free. Always makes it easier. It was 3 of us that came out to celebrate my birthday and 2 of us ordered an entree and our other friend ordered tapas. We were all very happy with it. I had the grilled salmon and it was perfect! Since we got there a bit early we had enough time to order from the happy hour menu so we ordered Grilled Shrimp and Escargot and drinks of course. I love that they have a tray of desserts to showcase! Makes it easy or hard to choose from because they all look so good! I must say prices were good, service was wonderful, food was delicious! We all agreed we would go back!

Wonderful atmosphere when you first arrive. I don't think there's a bad seat to be had. The food was fantastic. The service however was much to be desired. I don't know if they had no wait staff on the schedule but we arrived at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and the girl at the front brought us to our table. I asked if they offered any non-alcoholic beers and she said yes but she didn't know what it was. Then she seemed embarrassed to tell me it's actually from a can. I was perfectly fine with that and I said I guess you can just bring me one. When our food arrived she then asked if there was anything else that we needed. I said Yes, silverware. None of us had any. She just didn't seem like she was a seasoned waitress, definitely felt like she was out of her element and perhaps she was just thrown into the role because she's seemed to be the only one running the entire floor. I believe they were four other tables seated. We will go back since this may have been an off day. I just hope that the service is better.

I had Faroe Island Salmon, was cooked perfectly, melt in my mouth goodness. The Gorgonzola mushroom sauce complemented the dish well. My wife had the 14oz Strip, the steak was tender & tasty. The owner takes pride in his cuisine and business, it's obvious. The rest of the staff was also personable & attentive, this place is simply a Winner. It's a "Hidden Gem" in small-town Burlington, CT. We're looking forward to the next time we drop into the Enclave Grille.
