Sitting here right now with my hubby, we came on a extremely busy night, where we had to park a few ways down. (so you know it's good) I ordered a a chicken sandwich my hubby ordered boneless BBQ wings and appetizer Coconut shrimp which I forgot to take a picture of and a chocolate cake for dessert. Everything absolutely Everything was delicious and yummy. The place was crowded it was hard to find a seat at first, the place was very well clean, waitress was extremely friendly. We will be back.

Crabby Al's is fantastic! Their Lobster Bisque is to die for! And many other delicious choices! Also, they have karaoke on Wednesdays from. 7 to 10 with Travelin' Vin. Such a great guy and so welcoming and talented. Also, my friends and I went on a Friday to hear a live band. Their name was "Not Sorry." ALL amazing musicians. The female lead is unbelievable! And,of course, the instrumentalists were also amazing! Go to Crabby Al's anytime for great food, nice people, and fun entertainment!

What a great local spot with karaoke and good food! We've been meaning to try this spot since moving nearby. The parking is on the street which is okay if it's not a busy night. The entrance in front does not lead to a waitress or a booth you walk into a bar. Which is fine but just so you know. From what I saw though is that there is a restaurant dining side I just didn't bother figuring out how to get there. Anyways, we sat at the bar that had plenty of seats! There is 1 pool table. The waitress staff are super friendly and want to make sure you like your drinks and food! I love seafood but if you're not big on seafood like my boyfriend just know that options are slim for non- seafood lovers. I got the lobster bisque and lemmmmme tell you- CHEF's kiss! It actually has claw lobster meat in there so you know it's not the fake stuff. Veryyyy flavorful! I also got the cheesy garlic bread- Um yum !!! My boyfriend got the burger and fries and not a crumb was left/ really big burger too. The martinis are on point!!! Truly enjoyed the winter creations they had. We had a great time doing karaoke which seems to be a hit here. Great night and good food :)

Firstly I am a picky picky foodie and can cook better than 90% of establishments that I visit. This place is so casual and under the radar, we just happened upon it. We shared the French Onion soup (some of the best we've had and to my great disappointment it was not shared in a 50/50 split (yes I could have ordered another but I'm full) Also the crab cakes, flavor was amazing, personally I like to see big pieces of crab but these were very tasty and the sauce was also great flavor. Lastly we shared the calamari with Gorgonzola cherry pepper sauce. Very creative and also very delicious. We encountered no crabby people named Al, our server was a cute little blond who's name I failed to get but she was wonderful and gave good recommendations. Really happy with this place, if I was a local we would be here a lot and I would probably be heavier.

Chelsea our waitress was awesome and really enjoyed her! Ordered the fried calamari with Gorgonzola & hot cherry peppers, not a piece was left. The back deck is so big and beautiful. It overlooks the Naugatuck river, which is surprisingly a beautiful sight.

Our experiences this year have been pretty good, but not quite as good as we hoped. Their logistical arrangement over the summer has been different from the past. When you arrive now you order at a new covered bar (wine, beer, cocktails to a limited extent) area. You pay there, are given a number and find a seat where you will be served. Their dining tent is larger and better protected from the elements, and of course outside seating at tables is still available weather permitting. It's a great place for families where the kids can freely run around. But it's really all about the food, isn't it? And we've had some good and not-so good dishes at our visits this year. Their fish and chips remains a delicious treat: the fish crispy, the fries crunchy, we way we prefer. The tuna steaks, however, have been once overcooked and other times way undercooked and chewy. Our neighbors tell us their fried menu items are consistently better prepared. Guess we need to learn. Their menu offers lots of choices; we've enjoyed the fried shrimp previously but didn't try it lately. The lobster butter cheddar biscuits are very tasty. -- good crunch -- and we have always found their clam chowder to be thick, creamy and filled with clam pieces. A welcome treat! We are eager to dine inside shortly, and we'll update our report then. In the meantime, we still enjoy our visits here; e'd just prefer to have a little more consistency.

You have an open air tent seating option along with a field seating option that is family and dog friendly. Expect a longer wait time for food. Truly, their fried options are the best options on the menu and that shouldn't be the case. Their cocktails are not consistent, but when they're made well, they are great. The food is expensive for what you get, for instance, 1 small cod fillet for fish and chips. As I write, the more I realize perhaps it's a solid 3.5 stars. For an outdoor dining establishment in the summer, it hits the spot.

First visit to the O Joe's North location - understanding I/we love the original. It exceeded every possible expectation. Food is terrific - has the same standard as Watertown, but our wings were cooked even better. Fresh, hot, crispy, juicy. Definitely the best Ordinary Joe's wings we've had (and we have a lot of them, often). The food options are clearly rooted in the original concept. However, there are some more/different options here. Everything looked and smelled fantastic. I look forward to investigating further. Our server, Vanessa, earned 25 stars on her own. She was attentive, personable, yet worked quickly and accurately - manning a full bar and dining room simultaneously - while making us feel like we were the only ones in the joint. Manager/(Owner?) Paul was terrific as well. Stepped in to ensure all tables had what they needed, were clean, and everyone happy. It was truly noticeable that customer service is a priority for the team. Building is new/redone/beautiful. Similar, iconic O Joe's feel and decorating - yes, the gridiron is painted on the ceiling. Just a great space. Great vibe. Eat-off-the-floor clean. Simply can't wait to go back. And, again, I am so lucky to have proximity to both locations. **Just one note for families who may go with children or teenage boys (like me)... The service is so great, no one at the table will have an empty glass for long... that's a really positive thing. But, fair warning, soft drink refills are NOT free (nor should they be, frankly). However, with an 18 and 16 yr old in my party...those Cokes accumulate quickly.

I've known about this place for a while, and a friend reminded me that they recently changed locations. We were seated in the bar area at a high table and were given two menus: a happy hour menu that lasted until 6 PM and their regular menu. We figured we'd order a few things off of their happy hour menu while it was still going on, then move on to the regular menu after 6 PM, since we knew we'd be there for at least a couple of hours. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, gnocchi, fries, wine, and a white Cosmo to start. My absolute favorite was the grilled shrimp appetizer, even though the other two were very good as well. My friend's favorite was the gnocchi. From the regular menu, I ordered the ham and cheese croquettes and she ordered the regular cheese croquettes since she is vegetarian. We loved those as well. These four tapas were enough to serve as our dinner and we didn't have to order anything else. The service was fantastic and I thought that everything was priced very well. I liked that there was a parking lot right next-door. A friend met us. Later on for a final drink and mentioned that he liked this new location better than the old location. I would definitely return and try different tapas. Their entrées also looked very good. I really like this location because you can walk around and do other things after dinner in the area.
