I apologize in advance for only one picture. . I was with a group of friends who don't appreciate when I take out my phone. Take my word that all 8 adults loved their meals. Olga was a very delightful server and the owner could not have been more friendly. He gave me a private tour of the banquet room downstairs. The highlight dish was the crab cakes with a pesto sauce. This is not to underplay the seafood pasta which was packed with shrimp, scallops, mussels coveted in a slightly spicy red sauce. The two appetizers tried were stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Both brought smiles to my friends' faces. The best part is we could dine outside and enjoy the beautiful summer evening. read more

Two weeks ago, we had our son's wedding, and we celebrated the rehearsal dinner at Terrazza Restaurant in Portland, CT. We loved the beautiful setting in the Quarry Ridge golf course. The venue was perfect for our 75 guests and it was beautifully prepared by the staff. In planning the event, Adis was incredibly professional and gave us helpful advice to give the event the tasteful, refined and family-oriented vibe that we were aiming for. He even recommended a florist to do the flower decorations and she turned out to be excellent The day of the event the room was just as we had planned and the event was a delight. The food was absolutely delicious, and we received multiple comments from our guests about how beautiful the room was, how delicious the food tasted, and how wonderful the service was. All the staff had the same attitude that we found in Adis, paying attention to details and making all, guests and hosts, feel like family. We are sure this will not be the last family event that we will celebrate at Terrazza. read more

Absolutely amazing! One of my girlfriends and I just came here and the patio dining was a treat! Every time I go to a restaurant and ask if they have blue cheese stuffed olives for my dirty martini and they say yes! Heaven. That's all I can say. My friend and I split everything from the fig and arugula salad, to the amazing garlic knots that come with the meals and the chicken piccata with tagliatelle. I will for sure be back. We planned an event with Terrazza, and end-to-end the experience was seamless and expertly curated. The venue was the perfect size, location, layout, and setting for a family party with roughly 45 guests. We were able to have cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down family-style dinner, and then music and dancing late into the night. The host was extremely helpful in letting us plan the layout of the space, the schedule of events, and even let us connect to the sound system to play our own music and allow for people to make speeches on the microphones. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful the entire time, and even offered to help take photos with the beautiful surrounding golf course. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and if I need to plan any large family gatherings, I will be returning to Terrazza. read more

We arrived at 5PM 5/18/25. The bar area was busy but the dining room was empty. Our party of 4 grabbed a table in the Dining Room which provided for quiet/comfortable conversation over the noisy bar area. After a round of drinks and opportunity to study the menu, our selections included Shrimp a la Eddie, Shrimp & Scallops, Chicken Parm, and a spectacular Tuna Special. The entrees were preceded by their great garlic knots, generous house salads and a delicious Calamari app. By 5:30PM the dining room was populated but comfortable conversation was still in effect. Our party of 4 have visited many eateries throughout Middlesex County but, without a doubt, the level of appreciation here at Terrazza far exceeded all the others. We had the privilege of celebrating our rehearsal dinner at Terrazza. Adis and his team were absolutely incredible. From the hospitality, to the food, to the ambiance, Terrazza is the perfect place to host an event. We had over 100 people celebrating with us and the team made the banquet room extremely comfortable for all of us. Our guests raved about the food and the nicest staff! They learned about one of our guest's having a gluten allergy and brought out an entirely different meal just for them. This restaurant is a true hidden gem. Had heard good things about this restaurant located on the Quarry Ridge golf course...and we left very disappointed. Pros: - Calamari appetizer was good. - Nice atmosphere - located on golf course. Cons: - Doors open to the outside deck, annoying flies everywhere. - Host/bartender on duty, "Eddie", is loud and borderline obnoxious. - $45-$50 for steaks; that's fine, but had the ribeye and it was conservatively 1/3 fat...not marbled fat, just blubber...gross. Whoever the "chef" is should have never let those steaks leave the kitchen. If you go, keep it simple and stick to a beer and burgers. For a nicer dinner? Nope, hard pass. There are plenty of the other restaurant options in the area with better food and service. read more

I love a good prixe-fixe menu & this 4 course dinner didn't disappoint! My dinner partner and I braved the cold weather & the decent walk to the entrance of the building, that sits on a golf course. We made our way into the large bar area that has a long bartop & ample seating, & a total of 4 tvs. We were greeted right away & given the regular menu & special winter menu. Drink order were taken & returned promptly. I had a white wine & my partner chose one of the specials, a Winter Paloma that I didn't immediately see on the board. Once food orders were placed (vegetable soup, mixed salad, stuffed mushrooms, lasagna, penne vodka, mousse, tiramisu) a bowl of huge hot garlic knots were brought to the table. These guys were absolutely amazing! So much that were fighting for the buttery, garlic parmesan deliciousness that pooled at the bottom of the bowl. When I pulled it apart, they were so soft inside that it looked like mozzarella cheese. We debated on a second serving but we wanted to leave room for the other courses. The soup is a tomato base & so hearty with its various ingredients. I went with house Italian creamy dressing for the salad. Which was refreshing, crisp & the dressing had a tang to it. Stuffed mushrooms were great too. My dining partner doesn't usually care for them but they were gobbled up by the both of us, making sure to swirl every piece in the butter sauce. I've never been to Italy, but I'm sure these dishes would make Italians proud. The lasagna & penne had us ooo'ing & mmm'ing the entire time. I don't think I've asparagus with vodka sauce prior to this, but I'm definitely a fan. The bowl of parmesan that was brought out just elevated the dishes even more. We ate so much, we couldn't get to the dessert, so that was saved for the next day, along with half our entrees. I'm absolutely ecstatic that I found this restaurant! Osco, our waiter was a gem & also informed us about their live music on Friday nights. So we're definitely coming back & I'm looking forward to checking out the regular menu & their toasted almond drink special. Hopefully, I can also get back here during the day to see the landscape & golf course. They're always beautiful to have as a backdrop while dining. read more

One of our favorite spots! What a beautiful place all around. The restaurant/bar is just gorgeous, serving the best martinis if you want something fancy, and a great selection of canned beverages to take onto the course. The back patio has the best view if you want to sit back and relax. Their food is delicious with a ton of different menu options. Very, very friendly and hospitable staff that will make you want to return. What a great addition to Portland. read more

I went here for the first time 3/8/25 to have lunch with my son's future MIL, to talk about the wedding & talk about where to do the rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Pappardelle Adriatico w/grilled chicken & my guest had Pappardelle Alfredo w/chicken & broccoli. Both were fantastic & came with in- house made garlic knots and salads. The garlic was light on the rolls. For dessert we both had Affogato & Tiramisu. The waitstaff was very friendly & offering us some information on the different options available. The restaurant itself is very pretty, I could tell that they took pride in the restaurant as well as the food. I asked to see someone about hosting a rehearsal dinner here. They accommodated my companion's limited walking ( due to a recent fall) & took the back stairs. There was a party already in progress but we weren't even noticed as we came & went quickly. What an amazing & exciting experience you can have downstairs!! The two dining rooms upstairs are very simple, but very beautiful in my opinion. I will be back with my husband to see what he thinks. If you like fantastic Italian food I would recommend this place whole heartedly. The most important thing to me is the food. My shrimp and scallops in a vodka cream sauce was very nice, and my wife enjoyed her clams posilipo. Our cocktails were also spot on. Our waitress was very good as well. But to nitpick a little: I don't understand the huge, Denny's style, menu that even included pictures! Odd choice. We're so happy to have chosen Terrazza for our family reunion. The banquet room was spacious and well lit. The table settings included summery napkins and looked lovely. It was a beautiful weather day so the doors were open letting people go in and out. Adis, Dennis and the rest of the staff were professional, more than accommodating. The food was FANTASTIC!! Great appetizers and awesome Italian entrees. We needed a special cake for a special birthday and Adis enlisted an exceptional baker for us. We recently attended a small 21 person Birthday party. It included an open bar and a Buffet dinner with dessert plus a Birthday cake! The service and attentiveness was amazing and the food was outstanding. We had Sunday brunch in an airy, bright room with beautiful golf course views through large windows. Our large group ordered salads with grilled chicken added, burgers, and Mediterranean wraps which came with a good amount of grilled chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
