I have been conflicted between a 3 or 4 star and I have decided to give it a 3.5 stars, but will round down to 3 stars just because the wait can be extremely long with inattentive service. My dilemma is that even though I gave this place a 3 star, I would still highly, highly recommend people go to Rose's Berry Farm because you don't just go here for the food, but for the entire experience. Rose's Berry Farm is one of those places where you truly get to appreciate all the little things about life. Although I do understand that the wait can be frustrating, I like to think of it as just a longer time to be spending quality time in nature with your loved ones while appreciating your breath taking surroundings. This past Sunday I had friends from out of state visiting and decided to take them to Rose's. We arrived at around 11 am and waited around an hour to be seated so be prepared to be standing there for a bit. We ordered their Belgian Waffles, French Toast, and Quiche. The waffles and French toast come with Rose's homemade jam and whipped cream, which are AMAZING (I cannot emphasize that enough, you really have to try it). I have tried their Breakfast Burrito in the past and I don't think it is anything special so I do not recommend ordering that. My go to order for Rose's would be the Belgian Waffles with the jams and whipped cream on the side and the quiche. I normally don't enjoy waffles that much, but the waffles I had at Rose's were just so fluffy and when paired with the jam and whipped cream it's just a flavor explosion! Don't let the 3 stars scare you off, definitely give Rose's a try if you're ever around Glastonbury and are looking for something to do on a Sunday morning :)

However, because it was just the two of us, we got seated 10 or so minutes after we got in line since a couple smaller tables opened up faster. Thank goodness too because the line was moving slow! After we got seated, our server came by quickly and took our order. We got the pancakes, french toast (both with blueberry compote) and bacon. Then... We waited... for 40 MINUTES! and in looking around, it felt like half the tables were also waiting on food. Which was pretty ridiculous since breakfast foods shouldn't take that long to make. When we finally did get our food, I was a little underwhelmed. The fresh blueberry compote on top of everything was DELICIOUS. However, I would say my pancakes were subpar. They were flavorless and not a nice, spongy texture. My bf said his french toast was pretty good and a nice crispiness. Bacon was standard. Overall, I'm not upset I went but I'm not rushing back for an ok breakfast meal and a super long wait. One redeeming factor is that the views from the outdoor patio were really nice.

Downside is cell service is spotty and forget about trying to use your GPS until you are back on the main road.

She was always available to speak and no detail was too small for an instant response. The day of the shower went seamlessly! I arrived early to add personal touches, but the entire space was set up for me as soon as I arrived and the staff was so accommodating in helping with anything I needed. As the guests began to arrive, they helped to greet everyone and it was both causal and formal at the same time as the staff passed around breakfast pastries for our brunch and refilled mimosas for everyone to grab upon arrival. When it came time to move into the next room for brunch, one of the two waiters working with us that day made the announcement and helped to guide everyone to their tables. The tables were set up beautifully! We chose to have the "mismatched tea cups" instead of the white ones and every guest commented how adorable and unique they were. The waiters brought a box of assorted tea bags over for each person to choose and everyone loved it! Originally, I planned to use the silk flowers as the centerpieces for the tables, but we upgraded to fresh cut. Even the silk flowers were beautiful and elegant- Corrine has beautiful taste in every piece of decor. Throughout the entire event everyone kept asking how I found out about The Tiffany Juliet House. Everyone was so impressed with the amazing service, the attention to detail ( the light fixtures, the carpet, the window treatments, molding- everything is beautiful inside). I cannot thank Corrine and her team enough for helping to make my friend's bridal shower such a wonderful and memorable event for everyone. They went above and beyond in planning and executing a flawless day and I can go on and on about how spectacular everything was- the food included!

I called, they gave me a quote and several days to decide. Once I decided, they send me a contract through email and I mailed back the contract with the check. The place is amazingly beautiful. The room was decorated very nicely. The staff were all very young, probably high school students and greeted us outside in the cold. Once everyone was inside, they service our food. The scones were delicious, tasted home made and the jams and creams were equally tasty. The sandwiches were okay, a little dry but the deserts were just as good as the scones. My only beef about the whole experience was that they used Stash tea bags for the afternoon tea. I mean anyone could buy those tea from the supermarkets. If you go to a place designated for afternoon tea, you would expect at least some loose leaf teas allowing the customers to smell, appreciate, and enjoy all the different tea flavors. If they had loose leaf tea, it would elevate the whole experience ten fold. Also, they had some sort of punch on the side, with no explanation and the punch pitcher did not work so guests couldn't really enjoy it until the very end. The house can host two parties, one on the second floor and the other one on the main floor. The owners live in the same building. There are plenty of parking at the house and also across the street because the owners own that too.

We were in a big room with a bar off to the side, a big central area for the dining tables, podium and speaker, and a big alcove off to the other side for the buffet dinner stations. Dinner was terrific- salad and pasta and potatoes and fish and chicken and vegetables and two carving stations. Dessert was a big slab of vanilla ice cream cake with a chocolate crust and chocolate syrup drizzle. The servers and bartenders we encountered were all very professional and pleasant. I spoke to our group member that organized the dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable cost for our meal. I'm pretty sure we will book a few more meetings there for our 2018-19 year.

I believe this closes at sunset but I've been out here at sunrise and it's been pretty quiet until 9:30 am or so. There are a few walking trails and the docks/front of the boathouse (the cement areas) do flood during heavy rain. Definitely a Glastonbury community symbol... :) Lots of kids fishing on the dock/by the river. Playground on the premises & then the Glastonbury parks and rec manages the fields behind the clubhouse. I've been here when there was a wedding and it seemed intimate and romantic. I'm a big fan of this spot!
