Very unpleased! I brought my vehicle in because I felt the AC was not cooling properly. The service department diagnosed my car and found no error codes but felt my Electric Fan was binding and recommended replacing the fan. So I authorized the work for replacing the fan unit. After paying for the service, I drove about a block away and my service engine soon indicator came on. So I turn around and took my vehicle back to the service department to be told that service engine soon indicator was coincidental. So I allowed the tech to reset the code and drove away. While on my way home the AC began to have the same issue I initially brought it in for, so I reached back out to the service department and they had me bring it back in as soon as I could. After return with my vehicle the service department had for 2 additional days and returned my vehicle back to me stating that they found no issues. To make a long story short, after paying for my vehicles repairs it's still not repaired and since I left the service department I still have the coincidental service engine soon indicator on. I am very disappointed with the service. read more

I was looking for a Mini and had been doing my research which lead me mostly to the Bay Area when I noticed that Valley BMW had a Mini on its lot. I was waffling between a new Truck or a new Passenger Vehicle and decided I would stop in and test drive that adorable little Mini. No salesman was available so the Manager himself took me on a test drive. When we got back to Valley BMW, he introduced me to Alex Morris. Alex was very accommodating and offered to run some numbers for me. I still wanted to look at a few trucks so I left knowing that I would probably return. After test driving a few smaller trucks, I returned to Valley BMW and within a hour or so was driving home that adorable little Hardtop 4 Door Mini Cooper S with a fantastic price and financing from BMW. Although the vehicle was used and as is, the very next day while driving to work I noticed that the frame around the headlamp was lifting. I phoned Alex who had me come in that afternoon and they ordered a new one at no charge and then installed it as well after it came in. From the Manager down to the tech, all are very professional, personable and really want you to be satisfied. Here is my experience with purchasing a vehicle from Valley BMW, Modesto California. "Very poor customer service, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM". A negative experience for me and disgraceful for a BMW Dealership! It started from the time they received my check all the way to the end! "BEWARE POOR MANAGEMENT AND STAFF" This company is very UNPROFESSIONAL for a BMW Dealership. Very poor service after they close the deal on a internet purchase of a vehicle. From the General manager Ken, the sales manager Josh, and sales person Monique, who never called me once to let me know when they received the signed contract, when my check cleared the bank or when the transport company picked up my car. I had to always call to find our the progress of the sale. Even the people handling the paperwork in the office got one star, nothing more. They conduct business in a selfish, unprofessional and spiteful manner. Not even a follow up call, text, email or letter in the mail thanking me for doing business with them. They sent me a packet with the sales contract and all the disclosures that I needed to sign and return to close the deal. Most of you know how many signatures you are required to provide, maybe a dozen pages of disclosures that I had to sign. I received the paperwork back from them with just one page which was just the contract, that's it! Where's my copies of all the rest of the documents??? NONE!! I never received any of it. This is totally wrong. The customer should have all copies of all signed documents pertaining to the sale. Poor business practices! This was an out of state sale and car will be registered in Hawaii. I asked Josh to please send the title for the vehicle to me, along with all the other documents so I can get the registration completed in Hawaii. I further explain that California DMV has nothing to do with this vehicle because it will not be driven in California, it is being shipped directly to Hawaii. It will be registered in Hawaii and the DMV here will send the title to the financing company after recording the registration transaction. My financing company also sent Valley BMW a letter stating that they send the title to me and that they are cleared of all liabilities for the title transfer. Even after receiving this letter Josh tells me that they will do it their way. How can any dealership make this many mistakes on a vehicle transaction? BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE NO GOOD AND EVIL!!! Sorry for this negative review but it is the truth. read more

Impressed! First time I took my i3s for service. The crew are welcoming from front desk to Chris Sanchez briefed me on the details of what needs to be done and George Torres sending me a video of what he done to my car. This is the first time I've experienced them sending me a video, it's actually pretty cool seeing the bottom of my car. They did more to my car than what was originally needed. I trade in my Ford Focus for a certified 3 series. The car is beautiful. Darius-salesmen and David-sales manager really made things smoothly for me. Though I was a bit disappointed in BMW the company itself for not giving them any room to give discounts to returning customers and International Womens Day! If you have ever been to ANY other bmw dealership you would know this ones service and customer service is horrible! They definitely don't treat you like a luxury customer here, they don't even provide loner cars for when you take your car in for service . At the bare minimum they should at least set something up for you to have transportation when dropping your car off at this so called "high end" luxury bmw dealership. Nope they don't! You wanna know what they do for you? Give you a Uber coupon lol what a joke!! As a mom of 3 kids I'm not gonna wait 3 hours or set up Uber myself when we bought a 100k $ car from them with their stupid coupon . Oh ya it's only a 20$ voucher so good luck if your Uber charges you more that that your out of luck! And YOU have to set it all up they don't do it! This is what valley bmw considers luxury service! Very poor service department. Took my car there lasr month. Car was misdiagnosed twice. Staff tried to charge me twice. Staff also refused to do any services . I asked for a 50 k service but said there is nothing they can do. Bascially instead of preventing the car from breaking down they want the car to fail and then brought in. Also whil being helped in the service department I over heard the customer and staff memeber next to me and they were charging her an arm and a leg for services not needed. The two stars is for our advisor Alex Ramirez who was excellent to work with as well as Levi the BMW genius. I am disappointed in the management. I turned in my 2014 X1 and it was an early lease termination. I leased a 2017 X3. We agreed that all was taken care of and that I owed nothing. I got a bill from BMW for $3043.77 for excessive wear. I contacted the manager and left a message, to no avail. I texted my advisor Alex who stated that it would be taken care of (I have the texts). A month later and I am still being billed from BMW. This is disappointing that it is putting me in a bad light with BMW USA when I have never been late once with a payment and this is our 5th BMW. Needless to say that I should've driven a bit more and gone to Fremont BMW which has top customer service. This is shameful. read more

I did not buy my vehicle here. But, did have my vehicle serviced once. They were great. Nice area to wait with coffee and place to plug in my laptop to work. However, when I got there, customer service was a little disorganized. Now, the reason I'm writing this review now is I have been on hold for now over 19 minutes just to schedule a brake fluid change. Woman answered, took my name and vehicle make. And now, music for over 15 minutes (except for the person who asked me who I was holding for). Service workers might be good, but those taking info in-person or over the phone need to be trained better. This isn't rocket science. read more

Worse BMW ever. So I was trying to get my car serviced here and I had problems with my insurance so I was going to come back but the manager Ross McMullen (not sure if this is the exact spelling) says that I can't service the car because I'm not the registered owner. I've had two BMW X5Ms that my fiancé bought me and never had this problem. Really? The address on my id is the same as my fiancé and they can't even service the car? I've never ever heard of anything like this before. I've been to many other bmws to service my fiancé's car and they never gave me this problem. I also contacted my dealer and they said this is the stupidest thing they've ever heard. They bring heir parents car in for service all the time even though they don't live in the same address and never heard of something like this. I will never come back here again. Update 10/2/16: I came to Stevens creek BMW in Santa Clara and dropped off the car for service with no problems. Just signed a paper and wrote down my number. That's all. No problems here like they were giving me at valley BMW. And will make a complaint to headquarters about valley BMW. read more

Anthony is extremely rude. I called him to see if I could have to car delivered to me (less than 90mi away), and Anthony starts talking about how many rich and famous people come from SF to buy cars from there so it's ridiculous that I would need it delivered. Then when I asked if he could transfer the car to a closer dealership (which was happy to go and pick the car up from Modesto), he started talking about how much he wanted my money, and asking why he would allow anyone else to make money, and how he is only in business to make money. I would never buy a car from here. I took my business to Stevens Creek, where the salesman Ricky was polite, knowledgeable, and even had my friend's car cleaned and vacuumed while we were working at the dealership. read more

Took my car in for service, and I told the service rep that the left front tire had a leak. I have to put air in every 10 days or so. When I got the car back I was told that there was no nail in the tire and I would have to take the car to a tire shop to locate and fix the leak. I asked if they sprayed the rim and valve stem with soapy water to see if there may be a problem with the rim or stem. I was told that a tire shop would do things like that as they don't fix tires. So much for a full service dealership. They lost my future sales and service business. read more

Just the other day, I had to schedule a service appointment for my car, and also felt the need to write a review. I have since felt the need to remove that review. About a month ago, I took my dad's car in for a standard oil change that essentially took about two hours and made me late for work. So when I scheduled the service appointment for my BMW, I was very hesitant. When I arrived, Fred immediately greeted me with a smile, took my key and went over everything that needed and was going to be done. That right there already helped with my pre-existing attitude towards Valley's Service department. I then went into the lobby and did some work while waiting. After a while, I noticed Fred walking over towards me. I assumed my car was finished, but he said that they found something else that needed to be fixed. He said they would take care of it but wanted to make sure that they had my approval and that it fit within my schedule. Overall, this last service experience completely changed my opinion. I showed up without an appointment on Thanksgiving Eve. Fred, the service man, got me right in and got my car all fixed. He was knowledgable and friendly. The sales staff was also very friendly. Our family was shopping around for new cars. We went to a bunch of dealerships up and down McHenry Ave. and this was by far the worst dealership we have ever been to. We were instantly judge based upon appearance and when we asked the salesman for a brochure or other literature and he said NO. We asked for the manager and the manager said "sorry, we only give those out to 'serious buyers'". Like WHAT?!?! We took our business to Modesto European and now have three Mercedes and couldn't be happier. The customer service and quality of the automobiles are far superior than what we received at Valley BMW.
