If you have ever been to ANY other bmw dealership you would know this ones service and customer service is horrible! They definitely don't treat you like a luxury customer here, they don't even provide loner cars for when you take your car in for service . At the bare minimum they should at least set something up for you to have transportation when dropping your car off at this so called "high end" luxury bmw dealership. Nope they don't! You wanna know what they do for you? Give you a Uber coupon lol what a joke!! As a mom of 3 kids I'm not gonna wait 3 hours or set up Uber myself when we bought a 100k $ car from them with their stupid coupon . Oh ya it's only a 20$ voucher so good luck if your Uber charges you more that that your out of luck! And YOU have to set it all up they don't do it! This is what valley bmw considers luxury service! Took my car in for service, and I told the service rep that the left front tire had a leak. I have to put air in every 10 days or so. When I got the car back I was told that there was no nail in the tire and I would have to take the car to a tire shop to locate and fix the leak. I asked if they sprayed the rim and valve stem with soapy water to see if there may be a problem with the rim or stem. I was told that a tire shop would do things like that as they don't fix tires. So much for a full service dealership. They lost my future sales and service business. read more

Wanted to buy an X5. No one seemed to want to help. Don't think you can simply walk around on the lot and someone will come out to great you. I had to walk inside and literally walk into someone's office and knock on the door to get their attention. I was able to test drive and loved the car. I was late for another appointment so I asked that a 3 year lease offer be sent via email for me to review. I left my business card. 5 days later, nothing. I went back. The sales guy said "oh, I completely forgot!". Seriously. Then he worked up a deal "really quick". But he did it on the wrong car. Then he said he had to leave but would be back in 15 minutes if I could wait at his desk. No, I'm not making this up. I drove down the street to Infiniti, leased a QX70, and never looked back. First off I'd like to say thank you to Steve Varni for the stellar service I've always received from Valley BMW. I have a 2014 M5 Competition and I take my car here for everything (oil changes, brakes, license plate holder etc). I had an engine failure and got towed in, the guys stayed open late to make sure my car was received properly. Steve took care of all the paperwork for my warranty, got me a loaner and had my car back on the road in a few weeks. Took one of our cars there for recalls. I could vent here about how poorly we were treated but I'll leave it as "just don't go."

Brought my car here after it had some electrical issues. Was told 6 days later it was ready for pick up. When I went to pick it up, 80% of the staff had no clue what was going on nor were they ready for me to pick my car up. I proceeded to pay the bill and got in my car to drive away-when the check engine light was still on. I immediately brought this to their attention and they had to keep the car over another weekend. Keep in mind they had already emailed and texted me to come pick my car up. Only after they had my car for 7 days did they offer a loaner vehicle. After my car was finally fixed that following Monday - I walked in and again the staff ignored me when I went to pick my car up-acting as if they didn't see me standing in the front lobby. I felt like I was treated like a second class citizen throughout the process. For all the days that they had my car, I was the one calling and getting updates as to what they were working on-no initiative on their part and a very poor job of keeping my informed. I would not recommend any BMW owner take their vehicle there- I know I'll never bring any of mine there again. read more

You always hear about the stories how people are getting over charged and receiving addition service for parts not necessary, but Steve changed my perspective on that. The other car I have more than 10 years still working without Changing the battery The service department wants to charge me $150.00 just to check what is wrong Watch out. They are waiting for you for the opportunity after your warranty is over Valley Bmw service manager was idiot and had no idea what was going on with Situations. The conversation didn't go anywhere and had no knowledge of it I hope someone more intelligent should replace him. One of our Bmw 535i key was broken and my wife paid $325.00 for it I went to the service manager's office to complain why it so expensive to replace it He told me that he would give me a discount from $150 to program the key to $100 in addition to $325.00 for the key My car had no comfort access and no need of programming other than sync with the car. The parts department knew better than him. This manager's customer service was so rude and had no manner at all I was so upset and wasted conversation With him. Apparently, this BMW dealership is ran like a retail store. They have "sales" where their prices are slashed by a few thousand dollars and when their "sales" are over, those prices are no longer honored. What kind of marketing tactic is this? Who in their right mind would be willing to pay thousands more for a car when they obv. offered it at a lower price, which means there is room to haggle. Thank goodness for the internet and listing sites that track what the history of what these prices were. The sales people are also unaware of what "sales" they have or have ever had and are not knowledgeable about their inventory. Had me wait for a callback to even get availability on a vehicle, and after which, send "proof" of the sale price of the car that was on sale a few days prior. Then, only to text me back saying that they don't haggle prices of used cars. Are you kidding me? This dealership is a joke; the epitome of greasy car salesmanship. They need to get new management or rethink their sales strategy. If you're going to buy a car from them, maybe wait for a 20% off coupon before purchasing--insert sarcasm.. It's one of those things that you have to experience to believe; I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this one for a good laugh. read more

This Modesto Valley BMW is a really bad place and the staff it's really unhealthful. My BMW needed repairs and it was told by BMW roadside assistance and they decided it needs to go to Modesto dealers and when it got dropped off without my knowledge or my permission some random guy who work at auto body paint shop and he said I can fix it and he took my vehicle to his shop without my permission and Valley BMW let him take the vehicle. When I went to check up on my vehicle to BMW Valley they had no idea where was my vehicle after a long investigation I discovered it was at the paint shop. They did not take any responsibility and that paint shop stole my Towing Hook from my BMW and charge me a lots of money and could not fix BMW. read more

My husband, father and I went here to purchase a car, I am really not sure if these guys want to sell cars? I am not sure if this BMW dealer does not trust it's customers? My husband was in contact with sales person Mark all week setting up a deal! We flew in Seattle to go to my baby shower, and since we where in California my husband was going to pick up car and drive back to Seattle. After the shower we drove 2 hours to get to Medesto, my husband inspect the car, takes it test drive with a sales person who knows the product well. We head back to dealership to finish the deal. This when my husband felt very disrespected. Mark the sales guy starts asking him for his SS to run his credit. Even though Mark has been in contact with our loan officer and knows we have financing already. My husband ask him why do need to run my credit? Mark says we don't know you!! (my husband is thinking you just sent a purchase order to my bank). My husband is about hand this guy 9k for down payment and he says that to him!! On Friday our loan officer is processing the loan, but the dealership didn't send in a sign purchase order. I am not sure if they sent a signed one on Friday or Saturday? My husband told the loan officer to send check the on Friday, since we know the amount due to them sending an unsigned PO. He told Mark you should be getting a check for the remainder of purchase on Monday. Mark says he can't release the car until he gets the check! At This point my husband felt like Mark was calling him a liar and that we are going to steal this car. Mind you all we needed to do was sign a contract that would bind us to purchase of car and give him 9k down!! This left quite awful bad taste in my husband mouth. I am glad Mark messed up this deal, he will get a check on Monday from our bank he can't cash!! read more

Brought our beemer for oil change, great service advisors, spent a ton of money on new tires, came out to drive away, noticed tires were gross with white gewey, sticky stuff all around and on my rims. They need to have cars inspected before its released to customers. I'm sure it will reduce the BAD reviews once they put this into place. read more

I have an old 87 BMW which I wanted to restore with original radio. Found two on Ebay - pretty beat up and worthless to most. Both needed a code to unlock. Called BMW Elk Grove and got one code. The next day I called Valley BMW and I was told that I had to bring the radio to them. Guy on the phone wasn't phased that I had to drive 40 mins each way to do that. "It's our company policy". It is my 6th BMW and I can honestly say that after a series of bad experiences, this dealership will be the last place I'll call and expect help. I had actually heard service techs talking in front of customers how the ones with the 745 should take priority. Pretty shameless and terrible brand ambassadors. Needless to say, 5 minutes later I got the radio code from BMW Pleasanton. Props to Elk Grove and Pleasanton. Shame on you Valley Modesto. read more
