The whole process started off with a woman coming out to give an estimate. After that, the company was near impossible to reach, so many of our questions went unanswered. This is where we should have used common sense and shut down the process. Our bad. The rest was a nightmare. Our original tile was to be kept and used, so they decided to clean it with a sandblaster. On that day, the man who did the job made the moment that he should have used their less powerful sandblaster, but it was too late. The tile was heavily pitted and most of the grout gone. To rectify this it was decided they would "seal" the tile and re-grout. I'm no tile expert, but I've done enough to know that the film they painted over the pits (which came peeling right back off within a couple of days) was a shotty coverup. And if that wasn't bad enough, instead of removing the old grout completely before reapplying, they skimmed a new layer over the top, leaving much of it on the face of the tile. Most of that new skimmed-on grout chipped off within a few days as well. Another shotty coverup. As far as the pool plaster, we brought to their attention several cracks, a footprint, and areas near the tile which were missed completely. We were told there was absolutely nothing that could be done. I do suppose that wasn't a terrible thing as by this time we were quite DONE! Never again!

We were very happy with our pool service and our technicians. Over the years we had a number of different techs come out and we had to notify them that we had Huskies and to please close our gate when they were finished, we never had any issues. Well this week we received notice that Pristine was no longer going to be cleaning our pool. No reason, just no longer cleaning our pool. We then called Pristine (Kristi) and asked why they were stopping our service. Kristi stated that the new tech's are tired of walking to the front door and asking us to unlock the side gate so they could service the pool. The new tech was also unhappy because the bag on our pool sweep had a hole in it and I fixed it with a metal clip. So Pristine chose to not service our pool any longer and dropped us. I really thought we had a good relationship with Joe and Kristi but I guess not. Apparently, we were low on their priority list and that's why they dropped us. Good luck with your business, but you won't be getting any more referrals from us.

You shouldn't need to wait for them to work on other jobs locally just so they can save their own time. They are not professionals to say the least, and will take your money and give you a subpar service. We're talking about putting epoxy over hole they chiseled into pool pipe fittings instead of replacing the fitting. They poured a concrete slab for pool equipment that they later said couldn't be put there. They are the ones that measured and ensured the equipment could go there. They later came and poured 2'x 12" next to it because their error which now looks like shit. The drilled into the side of my home and drilled into my shower wall instead of the attic to rewire. They put in the contract that they would install a new drain in the spa but after they were paid said that the spa wasn't large enough to install a new drain? None of this was measured or thought of before they took our $25,000. There was issues with the pebbletec like I said there would be and they said no surface is perfect and came out to under water sand down the bubbles. There are trowel marks that your feet feelore rough than the pebbletex itself. You can see it as well. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THESE GUYS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They even switched the foreman because I asked the question of whether ALL the old plaster was coming out because of all the markings that was left behind. He said it was not necessary and that was that, I didn't wanna be dramatic. Keep in mind 25k is alot, but a few days later we get a new foreman and he has no idea whats going on with the project.

Luis walked us through every step of the process, was up front about costs and options, and made sure we knew all of our options and worked within our budget. Luis kept communication open during the process with daily updates and questions to check in. Luis and his team were quick, kind, efficient, and worked hard to get our pool done in a timely fashion. As the project went on, we decided to upgrade our filter and Luis went above and beyond to make sure the space it went in was more accessible. This is an update for Valley Pool under new ownership. I have been with Valley Pool at least 18yrs…read morenow and even though Keith will be missed I am happy with the new owners. I needed to have my whole filter cartridge replaced and am very happy with the work Steven did. I have a problem pool, it's very old and fiberglass and I know it's way overdue for resurfacing which causes the fiberglass to clog the filters. Steven changed my filters to DE filters which this pool needs and what a different it has made. My pool is now sparkling clean with the best water flow I've even seen it have, not bad for an old pool! I am still very happy with Valley Pools and I have complete trust in them that they will still give the best service that I always had with Valley Pool. I only recommend what I think is really good and I recommend Valley Pool if anyone is looking for a good pool service, I don't think you will be disappointed. I would not stay with someone this long if I was not happy with them, the owners are nice and are quick to respond. If Valley Pool can keep my old pool looking good they can handle anything!
