Modern Pools replastered our 25 year old pool and did a wonderful job. They were reasonably priced and were able to do the job quickly. They put the pump in on a Thursday afternoon and demoed it the following day. Then on Monday they cleaned the tile, Tuesday cleaned up and installed a new light, and Wednesday they plastered it and started the refill. All complete in less than a week! They are quick to answer all your questions. When we had trouble connecting our phone to the new pool light they came out right away to help. I got several quotes for our pool resurfacing project. Our pool was a mess ! We had black algae (a nightmare to get rid of) and cracking plaster. I did not feel comfortable with any of the contractors I got bids from. Some of them bid outrageous prices, were very uninformative, and then others never even got back to us at all! I felt like they just wanted to get me to sign a contract and start charging away! Not Luis. He was honest, explained everything, communicative, and fairly priced. Several things came up during our project that were unexpected. Ex: we had our pool lights replaced and Luis found that our pool electrical was wired incorrectly. What quickly could've started going outside of budget, Luis worked into our quote for a fair price. I am very detail oriented and want to know about every phase of projects and Luis was available at any time of the day to answer questions and address issues. He was easygoing about payments throughout the project as well. When we discovered that we were going to need new pool equipment (another unexpected expense), I got another quote, and he even told me the truth about the other person was cheaper and to go with them for the equipment. I was a little nervous that Modern Pools was a newer business. However, Luis was completely on top of things. He is very professional and hard working.
