I hate to put out bad reviews on any businesses but after terminating my service with this company 3 weeks ago, I still couldn't get over the fact that I never received the full pool service ($125/mo) I've paid for for 4 months! I first contacted this company as soon as I moved into my new home. Because my husband and I still have a lot of unpacking to do and with our job being located out of town, we knew we needed pool service weekly until we get adjusted. We contacted Best Pro Pool Company and decided to commit to their services because of the positive yelp reviews on here. Anyhow, 2 weeks after we had already agreed to receive service from them, no one had showed up to service our pool. One morning, I woke up and looked out my backyard and was horrified to see my pool as green as lime Gatorade. I called them immediately and asked what's the hold up. I was told by the gal who picked up the phone that she never received any work order for our address although she did remember one of the tech mentioned about us. They eventually sent out a tech the very next day to start service. We were informed that our service day will be weekly on Monday's. On the second week, I checked my skimmer basket and noticed that it had not been cleaned out. I contacted the office and was told that their techs were out because of the rain. Not sure if it's a good idea to skip out on any pool treatments because of the rain but I've always heard, rain or not, the pool shouldn't be neglected. There was a Monday when I was off from work. I stayed home to finish unpacking. I had not notice any pool tech coming by. About 4:00pm that afternoon, I called the office to check. The gal said that a tech did come out around 11am. I told her that I hadn't seen anyone and that my skimmer baskets had not been cleaned out neither has my bleach tablets been refilled. The next day, a tech came out to service my pool. We were also told that our pool vacuum had too much pressure and it's a simple fix. All it needs is a new pressure ring. We paid the invoice promptly and the following week, the pool tech informed us that it's been fixed. However, we didn't notice a difference with the pressure. 2 months later, our vacuum broke off the wall. We took the parts to Leslie's Pool to find the replacement parts only to realize that we never received a new pressure ring. I told Andrew (manager) about our pool vacuum being broken and currently not properly installed yet. He said that a tech will be out later and he'll check on it for us. We returned home later that evening to find our pool pump burnt out. The pool tech had turned on our pump and vacuum although it was still broken. I notified them the very next morning of this problem and was told that the manager will contact me. I've contacted them twice that week and no one would return my call to discuss this matter. We finally decided that we need to terminate our service with them immediately. Although we have paid for a full pool service, we didn't receive all the services offered for this package and that also included weekly brush the steps and walls which none of the techs ever did. read more
