I'm excited about working with Frog's!! I found this company via Yelp (thanks Yelp!!). A customer…read morehad left a review that really helped in my decision making. So far Mike has been extremely communicative throughout the process of fixing my broken pool/spa heater. The project isn't complete yet however I would like to leave a review based on his communication and knowledge thus far. Mike came out on a Saturday and ran a diagnostic test (yes, there is a fee but every co charges one) and provided me with the possible options we had. He told me he would get back to me by Monday if he found the part he thinks may be the issue. Mike reached out to me on Monday as promised and told me he found the control board. He also provided me with the price of the total repair for this (thank you!). We have another appointment scheduled and I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new control board will fix the problem. Overall: I'm impressed with Mike's professionalism, his knowledge, and his honesty. He showed up on time as promised! He's efficient and overall nice guy!! I'll update this review once the repairs are made, yay!! for the fix!!

Frog's Pool Service and Spa Repair: 2025 Mar 26 (5 of 5)…read more We had our pool built by a shady company. That company has since filed for bankruptcy and closed. We found a reliable pool service chap to help us with our pool service. Mike is friendly, knowledgeable and good at attention to detail. He knows the 'ins-and-outs' of the detailed aspects of an important job. We trust Mike with the service he provides. Overall, Mike from Frog's Pool Service and Spa Repair has made us believe that humanity does exist. Note: Mike agreed to have his photos taken and posted

I spoke with John and described the heater and the leak, and we scheduled a service call for 8:00 AM on Thursday. John arrived right on time, and I was glad that with no prompting he put a cloth face mask on before emerging from his truck. I showed him to the pool equipment area and turned on the pool pump to demonstrate the leak. He removed a side panel from the heater and was able to identify the source of the leak. There was a small amount of water seeping from the joint between the heat exchanger and the pipe header. There was some corrosion visible on the edge of the heat exchanger. He tightened the nuts on the bolts holding the two pieces together and the leak decreased to a very tiny drip. He said that he COULD replace the gasket between the heat exchanger and the pipe header, but it would cost around two hundred dollars to do it, and given the corrosion on the heat exchanger, might not eliminate the remaining small drip. He also said that he could replace the heat exchanger, but it would cost approximately half the price of a new heater without nearly the warranty of a new heater. Considering the costs and benefits of these repair options, he recommended no further repair at this time, since the leak was now just a very few drops. He didn't try to upsell us any expensive repairs, nor did he try to panic us into buying a new heater. He was thoroughly professional and courteous, and he will be the first person we call the next time we need any service on our swimming pool equipment
