Cool, they can make it. what I got was a cup of coffee in a to go cup (even though I was dining in) with milk and a foam, so really what I got was a flat white. the other coffee ordered was a latte which was pretty standard I ordered the chicken sandwich ($12) which comes on a biscuit and a side of fruit, to round it out I also ordered the yogurt bowl which is yogurt and granola. When the sandwich came out it looked rather disappointing. The biscuit itself is small, probably the size of a Pillsbury dough biscuit, and the chicken wasn't much bigger. nothing else on it like a green, coleslaw, sauce, etc. just these two items. However, it did come with a side of a honey butter. the side of fruit was about 8 pieces split between pineapple, melon, and grapes. the whole sandwich was dry, which can be expected from a biscuit, but this was just too dry for me. the yogurt bowl($8) came in a small bowl that had a large flaring, basically the entire dish was large but the bowl portion was small. I eat yogurt everyday and the amount you get is probably half the size of a standard serving of yogurt (170g) and it was sparsely sprinkled with granola. my partner ordered a chorizo burrito ($15) and while she raved about the flavor the size of it was laughable, especially considering there are plenty of spots in LB that serve double or even triple the size of this burrito at or near the same price lastly, and the most disappointing of all, was the cinnamon roll($8). they were on display at the register and figured yeah I want one of those and instead of giving it to me right then and there it was brought with the rest of the food but it was not warmed up, which made me question why I waited for it. It was rool temp, burnt, and hard. I do want to try other items but the price you pay for what you get, especially considering this experience I had, is off putting.

I don't drink coffee at all, so I will typically order a water when I drop in, and that's more than enough for me as I'm typically only working on small assignments or reading for a couple of hours anyway. Regardless of how busy it might be on any given day, I'm always acknowledged and greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I walk in. A simple greeting may seem like a no-brainer in a customer service environment, but not every employee greets customers when they drop in - so it's much appreciated to the Long Beach staff. The café isn't big, but the interior is very quaint and homey, so I generally prefer to snag a seat indoors when I am around. The music isn't oppressively loud like at most Starbucks in my area, so I really appreciate that as someone who is likely working, reading, or doing both when I do hit up a café. While I can't offer any insight into the quality of coffee, lattes, etc. I can vouch for Rose Park in LB if you need a low-key spot to relax or get some work done.

If you want a high-quality breakfast burrito, then high-quality ingredients are a great start. Their smoky salsa brings the flavors over the top. While some may blink at the cost of the $19 breakfast burrito, I firmly believe the cost is justified with the ingredients they use and the flavors that are put out. I encourage you to try it for yourself, particularly if you appreciate quality and if you're looking for the best. I appreciate their coffee from "Go Get 'Em Tiger". Right now, they're only open on Friday - Sunday from 10AM-5PM. Considering that it's a pretty busy shopping plaza, I was surprised to see only a couple of people in front of us when we ordered around 2:30 PM on a Saturday. Even though there was only one man running the trailer, he efficiently took and made everyone's orders. We were sipping on our drinks about 10 minutes later. There isn't much of a seating area to enjoy your coffee, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot for now. We ordered an iced Bonfire Cap (s'mores mocha) and iced Honey Love (graham cracker latte). Even with oat milk, the drinks weren't as thick as other lattes I've had and reminded me more of a flavored iced coffee. I liked that neither drink was overly sweet, especially the Bonfire Cap since mochas usually are. You could still taste the coffee in both drinks. The Bonfire Cap did remind me s'mores without the lingering chocolate aftertaste and the Honey Love had nostalgic graham cracker flavor. Both of these specialty drinks were pretty good! Looking forward to see how the coffee shop looks when it opens.
