The food itself was just as bad. A nice little cafe. I came in for a quick breakfast, and ordered the Eggs Benedict, with the sauce on the side. The poached eggs were ok and the hollandaise sauce was very mild, with a little tang to it. The bacon was thinly sliced, but doubled up. Overall, it was fine. I also ordered a coffee. I never got a refill or a check-in. I was the only person in the dining room, and there was just one table outside. Nonetheless, It wasn't the worst service I've ever received and I don't feel that I was ignored, maybe just overlooked. This place has a very local neighborhood diner vibe with some nice outside seating (but it's very limited). We got the ranchero breakfast burrito and crabmeat omelette. Both were fantastic! Super big portions, beautiful presentation, and tasty ingredients. No ingredients were lacking which was amazing because usually restaurants will skimp on meat or avocado. I had the matcha blueberry pancakes and my friend for their corn flakes french toast. What's great and so rare these days is that the entrees come with sides...it's not everything is a la carte. You can get eggs and protein with your sweet items, so it's nice if you're the kind of diner who likes to have a little bit of savory and sweet. They're extremely dog friendly, and the owner and our wonderful server came by so many times to pet my dog and brought her a water bowl. Just fyi the outdoor seating is mainly in the shade, so bring your layers if you're dining here during winter. There's street parking (free for 2hours) if you're lucky to find it, but honestly there was so little traffic that morning that pretty much everybody found parking easily.
