In speaking with Upland PD they rent out spaces to transients, or unhoused individuals, who live in the storage units. Apparently this happens regularly. Our travel trailer was broken into last night. There is no security other than a motorized gate. The fences are not electrified, contrary to signs posted indicating they are. I don't believe they even knew anything was wrong until a renter reported vandalism. I was called at 4pm from the office staff for an incident that occurred some time between last night and this morning. So why was I called at 4pm and not earlier? They are clueless. I counted 10 different travel trailers, a couple of boats, and two limos were all broken into with stuff littered everywhere. Broken doors, windows and locks. No apologies from the office staff. No empathy or care shown. Just another day. read more

This facility is a scam. In a matter of 3 months I got a notice of a rate increase of $80!! Not worth it!!! Go elsewhere!!

I am so outraged at this facility. My husband and I have been customers for 3 years now and have had to move our storage units 3 different times due to rent increases at this facility. Most recently in October/November 2025, we were hit with another rent increase on our unit. We went and spoke with the staff and offered that we have downgraded to a smaller unit it would only be $102 from almost a $300 cost for the other unit, so we gladly moved our items. Then as of January 27th, 2026, received a notice that as of March 1st, 2026, they are increasing our rent from $102 to $192 a month. That is an 88% increase. What a rip off. I cannot believe that this facility conducts business in this manner. We are looking into a new storage facility because they constantly are raising their rents. Much better deals out there. The electronic gate is always broken and there is no 24 hour security at this place. I cannot believe this place can get away with raising rent like this. read more

Doubled my storage fee with no notice. Had many issues with this storage location already. Tyrone is an asshole and a liar. I didn't realize that storage units can change rental fees this frequently. It almost seems like they wake up in the morning and plan who are they going to make miserable. This is the second time this has happen in less than a year . So they decided to drastically charge me more on the unit I'm renting , but according to the receptionist there is 3 more exact units available for half the price. Supposedly they can't just over write it, and avoid the hassle. So they raised my unit from $177 to $272 and there is 3 exact units for $146. They asked if I can transfer units like if I have people standing around on stand by to help .. like really. Very inconvenient. read more

Staff were friendly and professional, and the facility was clean. The only recommendation for improvement is to increase security in the back parking area by installing additional cameras and lighting, especially covering the fence line areas. read more

Yesterday during a visit to my storage units, it was a hot day so one of the staff members brought cold waters out to my friends and I while we were working. We have stored our RV for 2-3 months a year since 2020. We have had a great experience so far. Our rig has been secure with no incidents. Tyrone has been exceptionally helpful and expeditious each time we rent a space. The only reason for 4 stars is the prices do increase every time with short notice. read more

This storage facility used to be affordable, clean and the staff were more than willing to help any issue you may have to get in or out of the units. The new owners, US Storage Centers are more interested in hiking fees in huge amounts ever few months. For example my storage fees increased 30% in the last 6 months. 30%? And service is limited to the bare minimum. It's not a management issue with the location, it's the corporate culture. I gave it 2 stars because the location manager tries but his hands are tied. read more

U.S. Storage took over a few years ago and every 6 months since then, my storage rate has increased by 200%! If you want to be priced out of ownership of an RV, just store it here. I was told I was at the maximum after the last increase. Evidently, there'll be a new maximum every 6 months. read more

I'm extremely upset off the LACK of customer service, and extremely POOR management. to begin with. We received an email concerning "improvements" beginning 10/18/21 using heavy equipment. I have tried to get in touch with them for 3 days and I get no response. I have called several times during office hours and NO ONE IS THERE. It goes to some call center I'm thinking in another state. They say no one was available in the office. WHAT???? For 3 days???!!! Does this mean I have to physically DRIVE there and go inside to talk to someone???? This is utterly ridiculous. So the last time they did any repairs... it was to the automated gate. Right after that they bumped up our rent by 60.00!!! Can you imagine how much they will bump it up after they get done with the so called improvements THIS time??! I am updating. I finally got a return call. He said they called me yesterday and I answered. I told him I had no calls at all. Then he changed it to there was no answer. In double checking my phone, I had no missed calls. So I don't know who told him they called me when they didn't. But I got the information I was looking for. Additionally he told me they will return calls within 24 hours. See, this is where I find poor customer service. True, they may not be inside office the entire 8 hours.... But I can tell you THIS. I've been there plenty of times and there are NO. Customers inside the office. So...... And if anything happens to my RV after today, flat tires, any damage... I know who is responsible read more

Been with this storage place when it was Upland YouStore. Those people were good. This new corporate buy out is a bunch of shit. They have raised our rates. They send harassing collections emails before your bill is late. I've been trying to get ahold of them for 3 days to make my payment. No answer, eternal hold music. When I go online, I won't let me log in or reset my password. Keeps telling me to try later... I am very disappointed with the service. I miss the lady's from before! read more

I recently moved from a large apartment to a very small beach bungalow as a Covid sabbatical home. I've never needed storage, but due to the downsizing in space, it became a high priority. I started my search online and was beyond frustrated. Everything was automated with no pictures of the unit condition or otherwise, I was contacted with a high pressure sales pitch. I decided to do things the old fashioned way. I walked into US Storage and was respectfully greeted. There was no waiting at all. Mathew was assigned to give me a tour. He explained my options very patiently. Juan, the manager, handled my transaction efficiently and professionally. They also sell boxes and moving supplies which saved me a dreaded trip to Home Depot. During this pandemic, it's so refreshing to receive personalized service! I highly recommend. They have several discount options too. If you round up $.50 for cancer charity, they take 50 percent off one month rent. read more

US Storage Center in Upland lured me away from Public Storage after providing with a rate that was $100 per month less. I told them I had been with PS for more than 6 years and every year, the price went up $10-$15. With that being said, I switched over in June of 2019. I was paying $179.50. Because my payments are automated, I just noticed my payment is now $201.50 per month, and it went up to that rate in December. So, unlike PS which raised my rent annually, USSC raised within the first the 6 months and they raised it $22. When I called to question them about this, I was told my contract is month-to-month so my rate isn't locked in. What a scam!! I say avoid this dishonest practice of free rent and lower pricing because they will get it back after 6 months. My social media accounts are rather large so I will be taking this post there and run a contest to see who can repost and / or share it the most. Avoid US Storage Centers at all costs because in the end, you will be paying!! read more

I've rented up to two spaces there for at least the last 15 years. I've experienced a couple of price increases over the years and understand the need to raise rates, however, in the past 2 years my rate has increased 3 times amounting to almost a 100% increase in that time! I feel that's pretty excessive for such a long time and loyal client....especially when the only improvement to the dilapidated structures and grounds has been adding a new entrance gate and digital entry pad. Also, they close way too early on Friday's- when people need to pick up their RV's. If you want a rate that will last a while, don't stay here. No telling when the increases will slow down. read more

Went to check out a few storage facilities to store my RV and had a great experience interacting with the manager Stephanie at this Upland location. She was polite, informative and took the time to show my the parking spot. I was very concerned with driving the large RV around the lot to get to the spot and had to come back to walk the yard and view the driving path again. She again took the time needed to assist me and answer any questions of concern and did not pressure or make me feel awkward for my concerns... When I was comparing to other local storage yards- they were not friendly and talked down to me arguing that anyone can drive around lot easy and pull into a spot (not understanding my concern with a 45' coach) Its not easy to drive - and one needs to make many choices and think ahead any time you maneuver a large vehicle. We've never had to store our motor home before our side of our property, so we didn't know how to go about it. Juan was very helpful and walked us through every step. He made the whole thing easy. Stephanie is the one highlight of this place. But all other dealings show DO NOT store at this place. Pre-pay for trailer storage and arrive only to find another trailer in the spot I reserved. Juan saw us and quickly left. Once we discovered we called after hour service and they were rude and unprofessional. Oh and they tried calling Juan who would not answer so they just hung up on us. After multiple calls they told us they could not authorize us to leave the trailer in a known empty spot and that we would need to remove it for the evening, which with a 32' trailer was not an option. After we finally decide to leave it they wanted to charge us $50 a vehicle to leave. Stephanie again apologized but still nothing from the manager still to this day. And that "mystery" trailer? Well Juan has "been letting us park there for years". That doesnt even cover the people obviously living in their units or the trailer that burned on their property. All this within a month or so...store at your own risk!!! read more
