I definitely don't recommend this location in particular, my unit was broken into within my 1.5 months renting. I received a call letting me know my unit was broken into and a pamphlet to call the insurance. No security is present at anytime. On a separate occasion I spoke to employee about my codes not working and getting locked in the property I wasn't given any information or solution. I talked to the district manager and he was even worse with no solution or answers to my general questions. He had a very nasty condescending tone and nothing but excuses. Promised a solution and a call with an update and have been waiting for over 2 months and no follow up. Not to mention part of question and concerns were why the entrance and exits constantly fail and are out of order. read more

This location is very clean. This area is more expensive to rent storage space. There isn't someone in the office at all times during business hours. Christian in the office is extremely helpful and has great customer service skills. The auto entry in the app is very convenient. The app makes payments easy. Let me start with I have always had really good service from the staff at this location. This was my second time renting a unit at this location. I rented this unit for my daughters car and her college dorm items. Due to Covid no classes on campus. Sad to say they broke into the unit and she had a foot locker with a lock on it that they broke into. I called the police department to file a report and they dusted for finger prints. That powder is a beast. It seems as if they rummaged through some crates but it appears as if nothing was stolen. I am thankful for that , hence me being gracious with starting at two stars. I had to put every I had in storage for safekeeping because of covid related family issues. I stored most of my personal items at this facility. First, the alarm system is just for show; it hasn't worked in several years. Also, the video surveillance only has a week's worth of storage. Warning: If you use Master Lock, the key the comes with it opens 7-10 of their locks. Please don't take my word for it. After purchasing the lock, take the key out and go back to the store. You will be able to open the majority of their locks. Finally, I found this out the hard way. The insurance you must purchase through them won't pay you if there are signs of a break-in, even if they pick your lock. The police will not investigate, another lesson I had to learn. Well because the thieves had a master key there were no signs of a break-in, long story short, insurance won't pay. Everyone is in on it, maybe not the theft but hiding it from the public for sure. I am thinking of filing a Class-action lawsuit. read more

I took an storage space from this location couple of months ago ,you can't believe what i saw when i went back in to my storage to put in more stuff,to my disbelief there has been someone in my storage ,I have been sitting inside and scratching my head that how could this be i still haven't been able to come up with an answer and I went to the office asked the gentleman behind the counter if i could talk to his supervisor he gave me his phone number and i called him about the issue in my space about an hour ago still waiting for him to call me back...I am not sure if i should file a police report...this is absolutely unacceptable!!!!! read more

Although the space is clean, when I signed up under the 1 dollar for the first month, I was charged full rent, I have 2 units. Not even 5 months later public storage has upped my rent by way too much! I have emailed and called regarding the false advertising on the 1 dollar move in and have not heard back as of today! I have found a much better facility for way less and have have confirmed my move out dates. Please for future people don't jipp them like you did me! read more

My sister paid for a unit and the facility withdrew the money from her account. When we got to the location to unload her items the girl (property manager) said there was no reservation despite showing orrofe rhe unit was paid for. My sister showed her proof on her bank app that the storage place took the money, but she was not going to help and told us to take it up with customer service. She was nothing but lazy. She told my sister she can pay for another unit online and thats all that can be done. This place took her money but didn't provide a storage unit. Be careful when renting a unit with this place! Renters Beware: Public Storage is cleaver in how they only offer month to month rentals, no annual contracts. By doing so, they will consistently raise rents within 6 to 9 months moving forward. Their teaser move-in rate quickly evaporates with steady increases. They raised my rent an additional $95./mo within 6 months which is a 40% increase. They are literally forcing my hand to find another storage facility. My advise is if you plan on renting for more than 6 months, lock in an annual contract with a smaller independent storage facility. Many time they are more flexible than a large corporation like Public Storage and many times are willing to hold rents for more than the 1 year contract. And, if there is an increase it's reasonable and much more manageable. read more

When my lock looked like it had been tampered with, she notified me immediately and secured it till I could come switch out the locks. That is too rate customer service in my books. As a previous comment mentioned, lock was fully intact and still usable as the thief's locked the unit when they left. More than half the unit was stolen and the rest was ransacked, I am absolutely devastated. Police arrived and completed a report and due to value will have detectives investigate. I walked into the office of the Rancho Cucamonga location and Sharon helped me get a storage unit. She answered all my questions and everything was worked out very quickly, all the while wearing a mask (I was wearing one too) and keeping social distance. The unit itself is an indoor type kept at a comfortable room temperature and the facility is clean. Security seems good, with a keycode needed to enter the lot. I was able to use my own padlock by bringing it into the office during sign-up and getting their stickers put on it. I'm very happy with my rental so far. read more

The facilities are clean, the staff helpful and everything works. Why is this location better than most? I think it's Christina. She rented to me both times and she knows her business. Rarely do we use or need a storage unit (or two!). We were moving to Az, but had not yet found a place to live. We were quoted a price to rent two storage units from Public Storage on Arrow Route in Rancho Cucamonga, and within 4 months each unit jumped up in price $100 each! Management is supposed to let you know, in writing 30 days prior to a rent increase but nope! No notification was given on either of the two units! This is so unethical & wrong. I tried calling ... actually tried 6 different times! Left numerous messages, but no phone call was ever returned. I left a message on the App as well. We have since moved out. I spoke with the girl in the office upon move out & she could give me no explanation except is was cooperates job to let us know about the rent increase! My recommendation is to NOT rent from Public Storage. We never will again!!! I hope that you look elsewhere when shopping for storage! read more

If you want your storage unit burglarized and told that there are no cameras inside the storage facility, then go ahead and store your items here. Clearly an inside job aided and abetted by the staff! We have stored with Public Storage in other cities before and this was hands down the worst experience with a Public Storage ever! Also, when you vacate be sure to vacate your unit not on the 1st or 2nd of the month as you will be charged for the full month...employees are very lazy and rude, as well....BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE! BEWARE - Heed the reviews others have posted about their units being broken into. The lock purchased at the office was either picked, or a key was used because our storage unit was locked and items inside were stolen with no damage to the lock. Other units were hit on the same floor with no lock damage and the office person said they were not informing other storage customers "So they don't panic". The police commented that they have been to this storage facility many times. There are no security cameras surveilling the storage areas and the door alarms are inoperative. If you want to risk this place, I recommend documenting the items stored here by taking photos or video because there is a great likelyhood you'll need proof of loss. read more

Where do I even begin... if I could give this place negative stars I would. First the unnecessary questions upon move in about what kind of items we will be storing in our unit! Uh what does that even matter to you what will be in our unit? Second the lies about them calling us and leaving us messages to confirm our reservation... never a missed call or voicemail! So anyways we showed up on Wednesday May 1st at 2:30pm to move in two loads of stuff and we were out by no later than 3:30pm. Cool everything seemed fine! Nope showed up Thursday May 2nd at 3pm went in to leave my ID to borrow a cart and the woman in the office who wasn't the one who helped us the day before said oh yeah you just moved in yesterday... uh yeah that was weird, how do you know, just got a really strange feeling after that, then head to our unit to find our it had been broken into and burglarized. We immediately go back to the office where Christina didn't seem at all surprised that our unit had been broken into. Was no help what so ever and couldn't do anything to help us because EVERYTHING was against policy. We immediately called the police and had an officer come out and take a report, finger print and check the cameras since it had been less than 24 hours! Also just so everyone is aware there are only cameras on the outside of the buildings and they are only motion activated by cars so they don't record 24/7 so basically are worthless. We took the load of stuff we were going to drop off back home and went back the same night to empty our unit. This location does not have any cares about their customers or their belongings. Before we left the location we did a quick walk through because we were told they employees walk through the facility several times a day and just in our area we counted 11 other units that clearly had damage from burglary. Let me begin with the fact that my RENT has increased every 6 months since I moved in. Next my storage unit was broken into "twice" and management was aware but didn't contact anyone. Lastly, I had to file a compliant against an employee. The employee locked my wife and I inside the complex during operating hours. I suffer from panic disorder and due to being locked in, I experienced a severe episode. I will never rent from this location again. read more

I was in a pinch and needed to get moved out asap. Did my reservations on line and was having some issues. A few moments later Skye the property manage called me and helped me get my space. She was very helpful and a joy to work with. As it turns out I needed a second space and again she came through for me. Impressed upon touring the facility and signing the lease, but when the day came to move in my belongings, I pulled up to the gate to see a sign stating that all of the elevators were "broken." Of course, I could not get my heavier furniture items to my second floor unit up a two flights of stairs. So, I was forced to leave them on the curb. The staff working could not provide an estimate as to when the elevator would be fixed, and were not helpful in suggesting solutions other than that I abandon my belongings. I was heading out of town the next day, so I could not have waited until later to move my items in. The facility did not even send an email warning to tenants that the elevators were not usable. Beyond disappointed with the management of the situation. read more
