I have been trying for over a hour to get someone on the phone. I live on the East Coast and need to find out where my package is that I sent out. I need it held there so the person who gave me a incomplete address can pick it up instead of it being shipped back to me and pay even more money to ship it back out. I can not fathom how a phone can ring 99 times then you pick it up and hang up on me? This happened not once not twice but five times. Is everyone in California so ignorant? Just called this post office and it had to ring no less than 100 times before someone picked it up. Then, the woman that answered was very rude! Unbelievable! I dropped a very important envelope off at the post office on the 9th, which to this date has still not been received. The girl said "do you have a tracking number?". Of course not! So without a tracking number she cannot help me. She then stated that there is a lot of mail at this time of year so it may take longer than usual. Really? It was addressed to a business not 2 blocks from the post office. If I'd have known that the USPS could not handle getting a letter across town I would have dropped it there instead. Idiots. Just walked out of this post office it's insane. I was in the pick up line/ concerns for over 15 minutes. When I arrived there was no line and I said to myself great. I'll be in and out in no time. Ugh after about five minutes the lady in the booth over to me asked has anyone came out yet? I responded no. She buzzed for someone to come out about six plus time through out my wait and no one seemed to come out. This is ridiculous nobody should have to wait in THE FRONT OF THE LINE for over 15 minutes for just to get helped. read more

I need to start by saying I come to this post office ALL THE TIME! On this occasion, I cut the top off a priority mail label, not realizing it was a no-no. I walked into the post office with a non- priority mail package and Diane said "you can't send it with the priority mail label" I responded with "it's not a priority mail label anymore" she said "yes it is you can't do that!" Rather than offering me a new label she proceeded to tell me how wrong I was. So, I ripped off the label and began writing on the package directly. Diane kept verbally attacking me calling me a liar and telling me I was wrong.l I told her "we are done now move on to the next customer" and she kept coming back to me. I finally asked for a manager and as I spoke to him Diane kept interrupting us to argue with me making a huge scene in the middle of the post office and told me "you can go to a different office". I ship 10 packages a week minimum at this post office and I was appalled at the unprofessionalism of Diane. I am often helped by the older man at the last counter and when we got to him he said "she really was only trying explain that it could be kicked back and you'd be responsible for the difference in price" I said I get what she was trying to say and I took the label off it was the way she spoke to me from the beginning was inappropriate and after I took the label off" She kept harassing me and calling me a liar. She was out of line and could ha e just offered me a plain label and been done with it. Also, the young manager did not make the situation any better. My package has arrived at the post office 3 days ago and has yet to be shipped to my apartment. Apparently an attempt was made to get it to my apartment but I received a message saying that USPS was unable to deliver it because they "could not access the delivery location". I asked the leasing office if they were not receiving packages that day but I was told that they received many packages that day and that everything should have been normal. I called the USPS phone line and an automated message told me that the item was at the post office but has not been marked for delivery despite it being there for 3 days. I drove over to the USPS asking them if I could just pick it up directly since they somehow could not get into my apartment, but they told me that it was probably in their storage room unsorted and that there was nothing I could do but wait. I needed the package delivered at least by today (because it is my best friend's birthday) so I had ordered it last 5 days ago and it still has not arrived. read more

The people who work at this post office are unbelievable! Most recently I waited by my door for a package to be delivered most of the day, only to find a "we missed you" notice in my mailbox. I wasn't sure if it was still the policy of the post office to deliver packages to your door, so I called customer service and they told me that was still their policy. So, I called the post office directly to ask wtf is going on, and the guy told me yes, the carrier should have delivered to my door. He said he needed to wait till the carrier to get back to ask what happened. No, he doesn't, I know what happened, the carrier did not delivery my mail. The guy told me he would call me back, but he never did. It's it illegal to withhold someone's mail? It seems to me that the mail carrier is too lazy to deliver the mail, every time I call I am told I am welcome to pick up the packages the carrier fails to deliver. Trust me, they do not want me in there to pick up mail they are paid to deliver. read more

I've found some workers to go.out of their way to be rude to you. I understand you are busy all day, however I do not mail something everyday, I do not always understand the difference between boxes or rates. If you can not interact in a nice way with people maybe you shouldnt work in the front of the post office. I've been trying to avoiding going here and doing everything online, however they do not offer all the same features online as they do at the post office. read more

I waited in line on December 22 and the employee Caroline told me "ewe " when I told her I had international mail. She told me if was too hard to do and would take her forever to do and requested I get out of her section and go to the next available clerk. Excuse me? Then I waited a few more.minutes to served to the guy next to her and asked if he would do my international mail. He said yeah it's hard and alt of work but he would do. I wanted to complain but feared my mail would be tampered with. I have been sending international mail for 10 year straight and no one has ever acted like that before. First off if I had regular mail I would have used the self serve. What are they getting paid to do. Truly awful experience. I will not go back to this office ever as this was such a bad experience. I know they are union employees but so am I and I would never treat someone this way. They need to do their job and stop acting like they are doing the.customers a favor your getting paid. This post office has terrible mail carriers. Twice in 6 months they have misplaced packages that I should have gotten. The first time I went to the general manager to express my concern. He stated he would contact the mail carrier and contact me. I never heard from the manager. read more

I don't know who this man is and not was I serviced by him. Trent, was serving the many people in line as I was waiting for my passport appointment. All the people that was serviced by him was grateful for him and they all addressed him by name. Some said they only come here for his kind service. I respect that. Again, I was not serviced by him but the way he handles his customers was very admirable. Older gentleman with glasses and goatee. I needed to mail a large envelope and wasn't sure how many stamps it needed so I came here. I walked in and it was old looking inside. They really need to update the building. Like walking into the 1970s. Anyways I was going to stand in the line to get one on one help but saw the self serve kiosk. It was simple enough for us less mail smart people. The kiosk was very self explanatory and I didn't have any problems with it. You hit what you want to do such as mail a letter or package. Then place the type of material it is like envelopes or box. Then place the number of items and place it on the scale. It will tell you the amount needed for the postage and it is a sticker. The machine prints a sticker that you place on the letter. So easy and I didn't have to wait in line. After you put the sticker on it goes into the mailbox right next to the kiosk. It was simple and I didn't have to wait. I'll more than likely use the kiosk all the time now. I took Stars off because no one was at front of entrance to direct me on where to go. I actually looked at the line for customer service then looked around for another line. I wasn't sure if that was maybe a parcel box only line. That's when I saw the self serve kiosk. It would have been nice if someone was directing me in the right direction. Also took Stars off because it was as just old inside and needed to be updated badly. So my suggestion is to have customer service at the entrance to help direct people. read more

This is first time writing a review and I am only giving 1 star and that is being nice about it. First of all when it comes to the delivery of parcels they suck!!! I live in an apartment complex and we have those little mail boxes and when the item doesn't fit instead of walking to my apartment to deliver the items like they are supposed to... they just leave a note so then I have to go through the hassle of calling to complain and pick it up at this post office. Secondly getting a hold of someone to talk to is horrible. Most times the phone just rings so I have to call 5 different times just to speak to a person. This one time when I finally spoke to someone, I was given attitude. They have lost of couple of my items and it's sad that I have to open a complain in order for my things to get deliver. I wish I didn't have to deal with this post office or they would have staff that actually gave a hoot about customer service. read more

By far the rudest people that work in this office!! Especially the African American women with the heavy accent! She made a rude and insulting remark to me, so at all costs avoid this women if you Really have to use this place. I will spend the extra money in gas to drive to another post office!!!!!!! 3 stars because they do get my packages to where they need to go quickly and in one piece. but they lose stars for the self service kiosk! if you work a normal full time job you will never get here on time to use this service they close the self service (which is the same area as the po boxes) area at 6:30pm on weekdays and it's closed all day sundays! I drive to corona for a 24hour self serve kiosk instead....out of the way but i can at least send my mail on time. read more

I would have given this place 1 star if it was not for the Burnette in the middle that was so sweet and kind to help me. It was my first time shipping a package out of state and she was so kind to give me the step by step before I got in line to turn in my package. I got to the delivery man which I believe his name Tag said Fred. I was hoping I would not get him as I saw him being extremely racist and rude to a lady that did not speak English to assist her. (SERIOUSLY? HAVE SOME RESPECT) As I needed tape to tap up my box I jokely said do you have any laying around to tape up my box real quick and He rudely said " Were you excepting it to be free..NO". As he could not understand my light humor I replied I was just joking the least you can do is be nice to your customers. He defensively snapped back and said he was not being rude. I have been in the customer service industry for over 10 years and I would never disrespect a customer. If was in the wrong I would always apologize. How has the man still have a job? I would say I would never come back but, just for that one ladies sake I will just to give her some light for working with such a rude man. read more

I always had bad experiences with the postal office from having to wait in line too long, having my mail come in twice a day, after 8 p.m., and horrible customer service. I have to mail in my letters three times in order for them to finally get to a place. It's horrible! I still have mail coming in from people that used to live ten years ago at my place after several times going to the postal office to resolve the issue, but all they said was that it's not possible and we have to wait it out!!! Since mail had not arrived to several places, they are saying not to send any letters through mail and to do everything online. These people are just ridiculous. They are accusing my neighbors as robbers and the reason why mail doesn't get anywhere is because my neighbors rob the mail. The manager at the place was extremely rude and can't get a decent person to deliver mail at our street. Every week it is a different mail carrier one worse than the other. They also switch the letters to my neighbors and my neighbors have to bring it back to me. Something NEEDS TO BE DONE. read more

USPS is the worst! I've been expecting a priority mail, a very important document, and have not received anything yet. I have a tracking number and has been pending for the past week and a half when I was supposed to receive it within 2 days. I updated my new address 2 months ago and they did not forward anything yet. I went to the post office, called customer service and nobody seems to know anything!!! Let me add to all of the negative reviews. Had an appointment at 11 for my passport. It is now 11:27 and I am still sitting here waiting. No, thank you for your patience, we will be with you shortly, nothing! Ridiculous. Seems like I'm the only one waiting maybe that's why they are in no rush. To add to this, after he was done with the people ahead of me, he helps another person without even acknowledging me! I finally told another lady, that I had been waiting since 11, it is now 1140. She proceeds to tell me the ppl he was helping were there before me. Okay, so then why schedule appointments every 15 minutes if you aren't going to stick to that, my response to her was "those people are gone, he is helping another lady who was waiting in the regular line." She then goes "oh ok let me tell him!" I already have my husbands appointment scheduled, but we are definitely not coming back to this post office! read more

I walked out before finishing my transaction. I understand and agree that a postal employee should ask for claification if they do not understand or cannot read a number or letter. I do have messy handwriting at times. What I know should NOT happen in all my years working in customer service is insulting a customer IN ANY FORM. This employee snarkely said to me "maybe you should write more legibly" and then would SIGH each time she couldn't read anything and have to ask. Even just saying "I'm having a hard time reading your hand writing" would have been more appropriate! I finally told her "can we just stop" while taking my unprocessed packages to go to another location. She said she wasn't in the wrong as I was preparing to leave and I told her telling me to write more legibly was inappropriate given I have a wrist injury. She replied "I didn't know that" to which I said "I shouldn't have to disclose such information!". I am sorry, I really love the older gentleman who works there, he's probably the best postal service worker EVER, but I will not be returning to this location until this is resolved. Fred, the older gentleman on the right side when he works, is the saving grace for this location, but this woman (this was not the first interaction with her) ruins it for me. read more
