This is the worst post office in the state. Half of our packages do not arrive to the house. If we forget to get our mail for 4 days they take it back and ship the mail back to sender or maybe just throw it out. When you call to try to get issues resolved NO ONE ever answers the phone. When going there in person you are one of several people in line trying to get missing packages and are lucky to get any kind of answers to why. read more

This place is horrible! My prepaid packages will not begin tracking for a MINIMUM of a day and a half unless I wait in line & have them scan my packages in front of me (completely defeating the purpose of prepaid postage). I will pay extra to have an item GUARANTEED to be delivered by a specific date & the only thing guaranteed is it will NOT arrive within two days of the date guaranteed! I have to drive 35 minutes away to a different PO to ensure my packages arrive at their destination on time. I am seriously considering looking into filing a lawsuit. This post office has hurt my business as my customers have an expectation of getting their items when they're guaranteed. As far as I'm concerned this post office commits mail fraud by taking my money, guaranteeing it being delivered on a specific date, and not doing so. They should be shut down as this is not just a one time issue, this is how they operate their business. I'm sure at the very least a petition can be signed to have it shut down. 2411 W. I was confronted by this "cute" little sign facing the customers from behind the counter reading, "I am responsible for what I say. I am not responsible for what you understand." I mailed two bills (checks) and one card on August 3, 2019 (one was my mortgage payment. I have to pay to stop payments on checks and when I called this post office to notify them of this issue for which I know they can't do anything about, I was told my wait time on the phone would be 30 to 46 minutes. Lousy customer service and lousy mail delivery. read more

Horrible service, never friendly and this office also lost my original passport years ago. Every time lines are long, and they never smile. Just rude and horrible service. Also hen you call them their line most of the time is set on busy so you can't even get ahold of them. That's why FedEx and UPS will get my business. Not this place. read more

Ordered a plant that was supposed to be delivered on a Monday. My package was not delivered with the excuse being that there was not a secure location for package. Then went on the USPS website and scheduled a redelivery as told by the counter worker. Scheduled it to be delivered the following day with instructions to leave the package inside the gate. Now being told they don't deliver on dirt roads. Which is funny because they are more than happy to deliver on a dirt road if it's a company like amazon prime doing the shipping. So yet again I have to trek all they way back up to the post office to get again try to retrieve my package in hopes that the plant is still alive, due to their inability to "deliver on a dirt road". This location needs to seriously re evaluate their customer service and delivery policies. read more

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. This is the SECOND time I have paid for next day delivery with signature required and it has not showed up. I missed my sons football game so I could stay home and wait to sign for this package. VERY IMPORTANT LEGAL DOCUMENTS THAT I NEED FOR A MEETING TODAY! I was told my package would be here by 3pm today. I just went and checked my mail and there is a card for me to go pick up my package from the post office on MONDAY and after 10am. THAT IS TWO DAYS PAST THE ORIGINAL PROMISE OF DELIVERY. THIS IS TELLING ME THAT THE DRIVER CAME TO MY PLACE AND DIDNT BOTHER TO COME TO MY DOOR SHE JUST PUT THIS SLIP IN MY MAILBOX. DO YOUR JOB! I paid for a service and I didn't not receive it. Next day delivery is not cheap and I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AT ALL. This is complete fraud and poor business. read more

Anthem post office: I've received the wrong mail multiple times including someone's car tags. I've also not received mail I was expecting. I do believe there is a sorting problem and understand that with understaffing mistakes will be made BUT this most recent occurrence made me furious. Someone from California sent me a payment. It was sorted incorrectly and sent to 15th Ave not 12th St which was clearly and legibly printed on the envelope. Someone pointed out the error and put it back in the mail. INSTEAD of redelivering it to the correct address clearly written on the envelope they SENT IT BACK AS ATTEMPTED NOT KNOWN!!!! It is one thing to make mistakes, it is INEXCUSABLE to not even ATTEMPT to correct a mistake when it is pointed out. The person who sent this is out $40+ because they had to stop payment on the check and then overnighted a new check with signature required just so they could be sure I got it. read more

I have never visited this location, however, my husband and I just moved to the area, and were needing to set up our mail with our name, so I called to do so. First off, I stated the previous information as well as letting her know we had just had our mail key changed since we had not been given one, and had just moved into the house. Her response to me was "Ok, so you have a key, so you are fine to pick up your mail.." (very sarcastically might I add). My response, "Don't I need to set up an account with you or give you our name?" Her response, "Ma'am you need to just walk over to your mailbox, use your key and get your mail out of your mailbox". My response (and mind you it is taking every ounce of restraint to not be a complete B back to this woman), "So there will be no issues with us getting our mail delivered only having lived at this address for two days...". Her response, 'Oh, you just moved in? You need to give me your last name and address then".......... It was about that moment when I slapped my hand to my forehead. I can only HOPE that the rest of the employees at this location are: #1 not this slow, #2 do not have the same customer service as she provided me, and #3 are not such blatant Bs with their customers. I know many postal workers are not always helpful or friendly... I've dealt with that in the past, but this was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had in dealing with USPS. I will NOT be visiting this location needless to say.... and this woman is in the wrong line of work. Customer service is not her forte... read more

So I went through the online service to have my mail held while I was on vacation for 10 days. It's been two days, and they still have not returned my undelivered mail. However, I have received about six pieces of direct mail in my mailbox, but my other mail is nowhere to be found. I specifically asked for them to deliver my accumulated mail, but I still don't have it. So now, I'm going to have to go 10 miles out of my way to pick up my mail, even though I had clearly put in a request to have it delivered to my home upon my return. In fact, the confirmation even says that the mail will be delivered back to my house. But, where is my mail? It's nowhere to be found. This is just another example of the laziness that exists when exceptional customer service is not the norm. USPS is claiming that they have excellent customer service and get things to us on time. I beg to differ. This is just another example of mediocre service provided by our government. So disappointed. read more
