Had to mail something to New Mexico and we had 3 days to get it there. As soon as we walked in Sean greeted us. Asked if we needed help. Told him what we needed and he proceeded to tell us the best route to take. Explained how to fill out the package and if it needed a signature. Since we paid for express, he also told us if it takes longer than the 2 days for delivery we can ask for a full refund as long as we have our receipt with the tracking number. Never have I had a USPS worker tell me that. He not only provided us with great customer service he was personable, knowledgeable and seems happy with his job and surroundings. I am completely shocked by the other reviews but i guess everyone has a beef or story. I have been here so many times and not only have I always been treated wonderfully my mail always gets there in half the time I am told. In fact, on a package last week it got across country in one day when I was told 5. I did not pay for express or speed either. I am not sure how they do that, Going to the post office is one of those chores everyone hates to do, right? Frankly, I do not mind this location. It is close to my home and I rarely have to wait very long. The people who work here are great, always friendly. It is a smaller location and the parking lot is kind of rough and tiny but not bad service anytime of the many I have ever stopped by. I am not sure if my workers work out of this location, I assume so since it is the closest one to our homes, but my postal workers are amazing so even better if they work from here. Tracking said package was delivered/signed for at my P.O. Box yesterday morning, but package wasn't there. The manager tells me he can't find the package and I have to call FedEx. He kept trying to put the responsibility on me after having looked for it again and "can't find it anywhere". I contacted FedEx and found the signature for whoever signed off on it, only for him to tell me that he doesn't know who that is and I have to contact FedEx again. I go back after a half hour and tell him that it's not right for me to not have my package after paying $35+ dollars for expedited delivery, and this being 24 hours after it was delivered. I ask him to please check again and after getting push back for it (making a scene) he comes back with the package and just hands me the package with no apology, doesn't say anything. At least own your mistake like a man. Avoid if possible. It's always understaffed and P.O. Box delivery is a joke. Have had the wrong packages put in my box and it almost always takes them at-least a day to put delivered mail in my P.O. Box. I have very important, time-sensitive mail and have to pray it doesn't get put in the wrong box. This is not right. read more

Great service on 3/19/24 at around 1:20. I generally find visiting this branch to be frustrating with long lines and very indifferent service. Today the only clerk was attentive and showed genuine interest in matching customers with the best available product. As a bonus, lines were short which is uncommon at that branch. If ever there were a location that deserved negative stars, this is it. Piss poor staffing, terrible service, missing/lost packages on the regular, mail carriers not delivering the mail. They really should just replace the entire staff of this PO with a handful of chimps from Phoenix Zoo (There'd be zero drop in quality) or just bulldoze this location entirely and fold them into a facility that can actually do their jobs. I've used Post Offices all over the country and this is, hands down, the absolute worst location I have ever had the misfortune of using. If people needed an example of why some are calling for USPS to be scrapped and turned over to private enterprise, this location would serve as that example. It's almost as if the locations sole reason for existence is to serve as an example of "what not to do" for productive Post Office locations around the nation. Incompetent at best and apathetic at worst, they live up to every frustrating negative stereotype about Post Office employees there is. It's funny when this kind of attitude and behavior is portrayed on TV in a show like Seinfeld. It's incredibly irritating and completely unacceptable to have it play out in real life. If this entire facility vanished overnight, along with every staff member, nobody would bat an eye. Beware of this post office if you are a small business. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU because they know what your packages look like especially if they're distinctive, bright eye catching packages. I use this location often to send my orders out. I had one package going to a west Phoenix area and the other going to Mesa within the same week. Both of those packages never got to my customers and both said delivered in mailbox. Both of these customers I know. One is an actual family friend. So these customers were not lying about not receiving their order. Mesa rep location advised me that on their end everything was "correct" for the Mesa destination and that his Couriers have never had a theft flag of any sort (which I don't believe anyways) he advised me to contact this Phoenix location for the package going to west Phoenix. The only logical explanation is that both of these packages were never shipped from this usps location. Unless two couriers (a Phoenix courier and a Mesa courier) just so happened to steal my packages, lose them, or place them in the wrong mailbox. USPS will not do anything about this too even tho my shipping service has insurance liability. BE CAREFUL and start adding an option for signature delivery which is going to be a headache for couriers but they shouldn't be stealing or being careless with businesses mail ‍ read more

Why put an "Attempt to Deliver" notification in my mailbox if you NEVER attempt? This is false advertising when your workers blatantly tell you they do not attempt. Stop putting the notices out if it's false. Why is the post office the only delivery option with this many issues that no other delivery service does? FedEx, UPS, Uber, Amazon, even door dash deliver to the ACTUAL address. The best part is getting your false notification, driving to the post office, just to be told they can't find your package! They left a slip in the mail saying there was no secure location and they said they knocked but no one even came to my house so I rescheduled a delivery for the next day and no one even showed up or tried then the same day the redelivery was scheduled for they said my item is available for redelivery or pickup on their site but I scheduled a redelivery the day before and the site would not let me schedule anything else and it was already closing time for them and they are closed Sundays so now I have to wait even longer. read more

I was in the lobby for about 5 minutes getting my package ready and in that time Sean was multitasking, greeting everyone, asking if anyone needed any assistance and was able to help everyone in there while he waited for the next customer! Convenient location and pretty big for a post office. I came in to ship out a package and didn't have to wait too long in line as there were 3 workers behind the counter. The worker helping me was really friendly, was in good spirits and as with all USPS offered me stamps. I was in and out of the post office in no time. The post office was stocked with mailing items like envelopes, cards, tape, etc and the workers seemed to get through everyone quickly. Will definitely come here for all my mailing needs. read more

I had a prepaid shipping label from usps. Confirmed with a friend that works at the post office that they can print it for you or their will be a self serve machine that will print it. I knew since it was the usps that this would be a mistake going here. The machine scanned the barcode and said it was printing my label..........for 20 minutes. It never happened . The machine was broke. Waited in line for 45 minutes, when I for to the counter of course the person was angry like all the customer service personal from usual. He said after being there over an hour , we can't print those because the barcode isn't the new square ones. Hahah so the machine could do it if it were working ? He said no. The lady did not put in the address correctly nor confirm it with us before putting it in. This is a *really average* post office. I'm not a fan of the USPS; they try to run it like a business and then blow tons of cash on weird marketing campaigns (Lance Armstrong, remember that guy?) and continuing to service unprofitable remote areas of the US. Then they act surprised when they lose hundreds of millions every year. Meanwhile, Fedex and UPS are publicly traded for-profit businesses and keep shareholders, customers and businesses happy most of the time. USPS actually contracts their priority packages out to Fedex, probably because Fedex has a superior supply chain. Anyway, the employees at this particular one are mostly friendly and kind. Which seems odd, because this post office seems to drag in tons of people who are just starting to learn English. It's not the best combo for fast service. Anyway, parking here is kind of a mess. People just park all over the place because their monster trucks and duallies don't fit in a single spot. Plus the small field to the South of the building is a hangout for bums, so expect to see some toofless folks ask you for money. The hours here are 9-5 Monday-Friday. And on Saturdays it's 9 or 10am to 1pm. The latest drop-off is 5:30 on weekdays and 4:30pm on Saturdays, which is nice. You can use the kiosk after they close in the front lobby until they lock the front doors like at 6 or 7pm. I recommend the post office at Cactus and 19th Ave if you need to wait in line; it typically has shorter waits. read more

If you go to the USPS website and try to reserve a PO Box at this location (which I did in March of 2013), it tells you there are none available, but if you sign up to be on the waiting list, they will email you when one is available and it's your turn. I waited and waited....an waited. So finally the other day I'm in this location mailing a package. The lady helps me, I pay and we're done. Right before I leave, I asked "I'm just curious, but does someone have to die before a P O Box becomes available here?" She informed me that they had plenty of boxes available. Really? I relayed the above information to her and she could not have cared less. I asked to speak to the P O Box policeman on duty (aka PO box clerk) and she said he had just left. It was 10:13 a.m. When I asked her "Do you ever wonder why the USPS loses a reported $25,000,000 per day?" She just looked confused. It's no secret that the USPS houses the least educated and most incompetent worker bees that they can, but this location provided the template for all of their guides on how to attract the most worthless employees you can find. MICHELLE is just an outright BITCH. As simple as delivering an envelope is (a trained monkey could do a better job than these clowns) they manage to screw it up 9 out of 10 times. First time coming to this post office since I was doing an errand for my boss. My co-worker came with me and we came for the specific purpose of picking up shipping boxes for our boss. Easy to get into, not that busy, and the only thing I didn't like is the way their parking lot is set up. Reason? Because a big truck was parked next to us when we came out and I had to back clear out in order to see if people were coming. Wish this rathole could receive a negative rating. For nearly TWO YEARS they failed to deliver packages to my apartment complex. I was told at first their regular person was out. Then I got told the parcel mailboxes were not keyed correctly and none of the postal workers had a key. Then got told they were going to rekey the whole thing to fix it but never did. Then it was COVID. Then... You see where this is going? Because it seems virtually NO ONE is getting their items, the place is packed all day everyday. For some reason, the building itself is always incredibly hot, no matter what time of year, so be prepared to wait forever in line for the two employees... And sweat for an hour or so while you do it. I've never had as miserable an experience as I've had with this lot at any other Post Office. Ever. This has go to be one of the worst post offices on the planet, I mean whenever there is an issue with delivery there is absolutley no help from supervision there is a woman named Ms Williams who is a supervisor have dealt with het twice on issues totally piss poor. Once I was not recieving a light package but to big for recepticale never recieved, Spoke to Williams and said carriers no longer go up steps. I said well how about a notice in box that my package is at post office looked at me with disdain for asking..Horrible. Another occasion I had the unfortunate oppurtunity to deal with her again about several people not recieving mail at my complex. Apparently there was damage to a box so this post office was just throwing all the other residents mail into a bin although my box was secure and locked. Again no note from carrier that mail was not being delivered. When the box in question was fixed mail was still piling up at post office and not being delivered..I mean WHAT A JOKE... WILLIAMS HAD NO IDEA THE BOX WAS FIXED I found out through Apt manager that box was fixed took 1 week for a simple repair..Just HORRIBLE customer service..Keystone cops.. For the second time in six months, an item that I ordered online and tracked as "delivered" by the USPS has not arrived at my home. One was even time-stamped as being delivered at 8:35 AM. Since mail is always delivered here in late afternoon, I fear that internal theft may be the issue. The first time this happened, I called the post office and filed a complaint online. I NEVER received any sort of response or follow-up. Thankfully, the online retailers resent the items. However, I do not think it's fair that the retailers have to cover costs caused by poor service by this USPS location. I have been ordering online for years and have never had such issues with other USPS offices, or with FedEx or UPS. Clearly, there is an issue at this location that needs to be "addressed." read more
