Easy parking preferred. We parked in front, not searching more waiting. The doors were unlocked - Hooray! (or appeopriate 2024 word inserted here.) Interior clean and cool. Clear instruction on pull-down chute. Pull-down chute operated. Bill's mailed. Left Post Office safe and sound. Drove away from clean, neat, soundly paved and striped parking lot. read more

ZERO -Worst post office ever...I moved in last weekend and received a bill addressed to me at my new address on the Monday after I moved in so I thought that they were aware that I was there. I also have a ten pound shorkie that sits in the front window and absolutely LIVES to bark at anything, and my mail slot is on my front porch so the mail carrier couldn't miss him if he did attempt to deliver. My priority mail package from my folks arrived at the Glendale facility in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday. Tracking said to expect it by 9p. When I got home from work Wednesday afternoon and the package was not there, I tracked it again and it was not delivered because the property is listed as "vacant", and the package was already processed and on its way back to Indiana as return to sender. WOW! I used to dread going to the post office, but now coming here is one of the highlights of my day. This seemingly ordinary little post office is fast-paced, full of knowledgeable staff, and just all-around really good people. If you need help with anything post-related, the people at the downtown Glendale PO are there to walk you through it. I had no idea how many affordable, or even free services they provide (like the Informed Delivery app, free package pickups at your home, free re-delivery on missed packages, etc.). POS THIS OFFICE SINCE I moved here has 4 times not delivered packages for no reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's 3 different options available- my mailbox, lockers (that were Available each incident), and my front door (that I have many times otger homes I've lived in received at my front door if needed)....yet they randomly don't deliver to all available options and mark no location safe to deliver.....then I found out this last time they've attempted 2 times and said undeliverable- same as last time- and now they delivers one to someone else....someone else received my package of high valuables. WTH is going on with this post office. I'm the wrong person....I don't experience any issue nor such issue anywhere and I'm very resourceful...they will be answering to this!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE- spoke with a 'superior' at this location presenting as assistive, and if I don't receive my three packages on this third attempt when all available options-lockers, mailbox, and front door - are there (unless there's an emergency event such as an atomic bomb, all options will still be there), then that is negligence and a serious offense I will pursue... I've heard so many people bad mouth the USPS and especially this location but had yet to be a victim before the last few months...so yeah! Avoid this location. read more

Seems like there might be a scam, after reading many poor reviews I went in and was almost got hustled. They're system was down but they offered to weigh my box so I could bring in the proper amount of cash asking for $175.00 for my box. I recently was able to take my box to the post office nearest my work and they charged me $10 less and I was able to use my debit card. read more

Called a few weeks ago to get a mail box key replaced after buying a house in this post offices district. Still no key. Keep getting told that we are next in line every week we call, we have even been told that ours was the next worker order to be pulled by the contractor. Today we spoke to Anthony who was exceptionally rude and told us they are 6-7 days behind. We told them "no you are a few weeks behind on our request for a new key" he kept telling us "this is just how it is because of Covid" even though they are declared essential from the governor. We just want to be able to get our mail! How much longer do we have to wait!!!! Edited: called again spoke to mike who said he would look into it but the contractor isn't in till 2pm. This is the WORST post office you could ever have to deliver your shit ! They have incompetent delivery drivers & they could give 2 shits if you never get a package delivered to your house . I've been at the same apartment for over a year and they decided to put a vacancy notice in my mailbox not once but TWICE it's been over a month since I've received any mail and now my package has been returned due to them not even re-registering the address as ours for mail. Supervisors at location are just as negligent/CARLESS and do not discipline the driver(s) for making these same mistakes OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Careless employees. They lie about your tracking updates when it is physically impossible for what they are claiming to be true. Package i ordered for a Christmas gift was sent out to be delivered for the FIRST TIME on 12/3/20, was taken back to THIS post office. After a couple phone calls to USPS, I was able to find out what office my package was at, and was informed by the rep helping me I had 15 days to pick it up. So i thought waiting for one night wouldn't be a big deal. I show up to claim my package and they tell me today, on 12/4/20, that it was sent back to the sender because "they had it for 15 days." The tracking label isn't even 15 days old, it was purchased on the 28th! What do they think I am, stupid? I usually deliver my packages here by putting them in the drop off boxes outside in front of the post office. I have dropped off 3 packages and they have not been scanned or delivered at all to my customers. I don't know if they are delaying packages due to the election coming up but I'm not happy with this place at all. Inept, incompetent employees. Phone is never answered nor are packages delivered to door. The absolute worst!!

The issue is that no employee is on the same page. No one including the supervisor can accurately tell me the policy's. We had a mail carrier not delivering packages and just leaving the slip that he missed us and we would have to schedule a re delivery. So we go to the post office slip in hand to finally complain. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and would cut my husband off in the middle of his sentences claiming that they stopped taking mail to front doors period because of COVID and when my husband tried to push the matter further immediately went to get a supervisor. While we were waiting for the supervisor the lady comes out and tells us that they can't find our package. Which after further investigation from a different employee turns out the mail carrier put the package in the wrong sorting bin. The package was from social security, so that's an issue. Finally the supervisor comes out and tries to explain to us that if we lived in an apartment that the mail carrier doesn't come to the door but for houses they were supposed to and that she would talk to the carrier. My husband was trying to explain to her why we were so upset because according to their records they were coming when someone wasn't there to sign for the package but in reality they weren't coming to the door and how it was affecting us because they were sending our packages back. The lady then obviously was getting frustrated and doubled down saying that they weren't coming to the doors because we were in a pandemic. So now she's changing her story, the carrier doesn't know the proper policy, and the lady at the front desk also gave us false information. The supervisor eventually shut the door in our faces telling my husband to take his problems up with Congress. They also make it extremely hard to reach the post master general. I want to take this even further. They obviously don't understand how this could be affecting others. read more

I come every 4 weeks and have been for over a year to pick up live bugs for my bearded dragon. They keep doing thus after giving many chances. Today I saw the tracking was my box was delivered and I went down on my lunch hour like always do to pick up. Apparently now they only hold live anything for 24 hours but last month they shipped back before thw 24hrs was up almost 2 times after going through he hassle to get them back and have the company reship. So now I rush to find out they are out for delivery when it clearly says in the box every time avoid from heat and HOLD at post office. The carrier didn't care to keep it there. I leave after being told it out for delivery. How do I know the carrier did not adhere to what the box said, was because I went o my mailbox saw nothing. Then I was on the hunt to find him in my neighborhood. Found him and told him why are they on his truck. He apologized and said he saw it but still took them anyway. Omg I have had so many issues with this post office and these people not caring enough to handle what's right. I wish I did not have to deal with them at all but it's so hot here in AZ I have to have them ship this way and for the post office people to read and do what it says and NOT say they hold for 24 hrs and then ship them back out less then 24hrs. Trying to purchase stamps and wanted to see the designs they offered as this was my first time EVER purchasing stamps. The employee rudely stated that I should have looked at them before standing in line. He said he would have to walk to the back to retrieve the other designs. He said I can purchase the ones he had already given me and come back in line if I changed my mind. So I go look for a booklet.....NO BOOKLET TO BE FOUND. This is the post office that serves my business address. When I need to go inside, even when the line is to the door, things normally go pretty fast. I've never had a problem with grumpy employees. I have seen some customers who have no clue what they want when it is their turn slow things down but that is not the fault of the Post Office. read more

I called and complained about my carrier,that he is putting the wrong mail in my box. I also complained about the rude letter he put in my mail box saying that he will not pick up the out going mail if left in my box,that I need to put it in the out going box. I have NO problem doing that but HE sealed up BOTH out going boxes. He is just lazy and does not want to do his job. If they had negative stars I would give him a -5 stars read more
