Definitely would NOT recommend sending mail from USPS. They will lose your package and then when it hits a certain time they will delete everything from the system, your tracking number gone, and invalid. Did a service request from customer services, he said he has not seen that happen before and told me to go into usps to request a refund. Lady was rude and said " I was too late" and couldn't do anything about it, I told them I'm not coming back ever again. Not to mention this was a FPO package going to the military service members and I didn't even reach the maximum days yet in order to get a refund. . DONT SEND MAIL FROM USPS :) read more

I had to call six times today (11/05/24). 2:36 PM call: Call was disconnected. 2:39 PM call: I heard someone pick up the phone and put it back down. 2:40 PM call: Brenda finally answered, but as I began to tell her my problem, she hung up on me. 2:41 PM call: Call was disconnected. 3:03 PM call: Brenda helped me with my request, which was incredibly quick for her to do. 3:06 PM call: Brenda answered follow-up questions and, after verifying my information, gave me the phone number of the post office overseeing the zip code of the address to which my package was being sent. It's ridiculous to wait over five minutes just to get disconnected, and the fact that both answered calls are three minutes long attests to how easy my request was to complete. This could've easily been a five-star experience because she truly helped me, but the constant hanging up and disconnecting calls is a pain. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Went to get my passport and didn't have a appointment. We were there for almost 3 hours just standing and waiting when they have only taken in 2-3 people! When we were 6th in line, people with appointments came in and wait PAST their waiting time about 2 hours later they finally got put in the room. If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!! I'm missing mail (DOT registration and tabs) and I'm trying to give them a call to figure out how to resolve this. I did not pay $360 to not receive these documents and potentially getting pulled over for expired tags. Called over 15 times int g roast week and no answer. Mail carriers shouldn't be federal employees if they can't even do their jobs! There's a reason for the little tags in the mailboxes! Idk how you can get this wrong. Service here is usually really slow. I used to like the ease of driving up and dropping off outgoing mail, but recently they changed the mailboxes at the drive up so it's no longer a drive and drop - you have to drive up and get out of your car. Defeated the whole purpose of a drive up mailbox. read more

I am at USPS at this time and my box was not sent to Brazil, because the employee Nick said that Medium size box can not be sent. This is not true I send boxes every week, larger sizes and never had problems. The box send in USPS Glendale... note that the box was sent by another USPS and no employee declined. this is absurd !!! read more

Good thing I have tracking numbers for some of my packages but yet alone with that it still goes missing. I've lived in Glendale my whole life this year has by far been the worst living in Glendale! My zip code has never changed but I'm always missing mail now! Top that off when I first changed addresses I did online & confirmed my ID online, I go into the post office it's a complete different person located on there with the barcode I personally got to my email! I find that quite wild, took 3 months to get my mail here moving forward to 2 months now & this is the second time I've had no mail! I check my mail as well. So the mail person put my mailbox as vacant the first time put "no names" with a blank tag over our names! Clearly our names were in there but seems like these mail people that are being hired are being lazy! I just couldn't believe it, VACANT! Like really? Here I am second time with no mail that's supposed to be in there & I know bc I get the clear images of my mail in my email of what's being sent that day! Just really frustrating having mail problems all the time bc they choose hire people that don't care or inconsiderate & now my package is missing that was supposedly delivered in mailbox. Self-service is great! Tip: Remember that self-service only takes credit card and so your Greenbacks don't work. You can get stamps, small, flexible packages and letters sent using self-service. Silly me, it was Columbus Day, so the counter service was not opened. I will have to go back tomorrow to post my big package. read more

I tried to mail my eBay order and the post office employee told me that they don't print labels and he refused to assist me. He threatened me saying that I need to step aside when all I asked for was a label for my package. He was really rude and unhelpful. I know that they will normally print labels but the Glendale location has a history of refusing service. read more

This post office has gone down hill with the news leadership. No service. Late deliveries. Wrong mail in the box more often than right mail in the box. No one answers the phone. It's almost as if the guy in charge is trying to make everyone hate and defund the post office. read more

This is solely based on my family's passport experience at the customer service center. I feel that Rick deserves to be recognized for his patience and friendliness. Myself and my three kiddos needed passports. We didn't have copies of our documents so he graciously copied everything for us without a fuss. He examined my passport photos that we brought from Walmart but told me they wouldn't comply with the requirements and offered to retake them. He was so good with my two boys, age 7 and age 2. When it came to the infant photo, I just wish we could have gotten a better picture. He said they usually do a white towel draped in the car seat. I did not have a white towel on me so we used my son's white shirt behind her head. You can still see part of the car seat around the edges so it may get rejected, but he definitely tried. If we were able to get her photo perfect, it would be five stars! Thank you Rick for working so hard to get all four of our passports processed all the while being kind and outgoing. I went to the drive up mailboxes today 11/6/21 around 2:30pm. The very first one had letters crammed in the slot and were pretty much sticking out. I felt this was a bad situation as I know...someone will come by and grab these. So I stopped and got out of my truck to get the ones that were sticking out and placed them in the next bin, I got out at least 50 letters! We are talking bills, credit payments, gift cards...etc, etc. Anyhow, I checked the box opening before putting them in to make sure they "went in". Long story short, went in to tell a postal work in the back about the situation (so that they could at least find out what's causing the back up) The blonde haired gal said, "what do you want??" I tried to explain the situation and she muttered a profanity at me to GFM. WOW, is this how you guys treat someone trying to do the right thing? I certainly don't appreciate being cursed at for something that was a problem for our Glendale residents that use that mailbox. I'll be contacting her supervisor on Monday, and yes I will be able to describe her. read more

I was missing a letter on september 15, 2020 and I figured it was a lost cause to try to fine it. It had been sent to another area in Glendale and the carrier Autumn spotted the letter on her route . I went here to send a package to my cousin. I hardly get anything shipped but I figured it shouldn't be any trouble. When I walked in I was greeted instantly by this nice lady who was working there. She was very informative and was able to help me out with my every question. Unfortunately, when I was getting ready to pay; there was supposedly a problem with the computer system that it wasn't taking my card cause I guess the computer froze. So, I had to swipe my card a few times. Good thing I checked my banking account or I wouldn't have known I was charged those many times. The person helping me out was aware of the situation so I guess its a good thing however it's such a hassle for me as a customer to have to deal with something like this. Now, I'm stuck trying to get a hold of anyone to help me about getting my money back. Tried calling the two numbers I was told to call if the extra charges had gone through but I find it ridiculous to be on hold for so long. That's the only reason why I rated this review with 2 stars. I have been recieving packages that are damaged or Opened. When i ask the post Office about it i am told its not them its the sender who packaged wrong? I file Insurance claims it gets denied even with pictures of the Damage. Highly recommend sing UPS or another service post office is not doing there jobs. Yet again. This post office has done the most to be useless. Apparently now the supervisor is useless as well, considering the employee who "helped" me told me that her supervisor said they couldn't process my USPS SHIPPING LABEL. The label my boss got from the USPS website. They caused the checks I needed to send out to be late because they simply did not want to scan the PREPAID packages I needed to send off. How do I know this woman and the supervisor have no idea what the hell they are doing? I went in this morning to drop off the SAME packages to a different location, and there was absolutely NO problem. They scanned my items in 5 minutes and gave me my receipt. Whoever the Asian woman is behind the counter, needs to be fired along with her supervisor. She was rude, a terrible listener, horrid employee and one of the main reason I will not be returning. This location has some of the worst employees I've experienced. There are a few good ones but for the most part this place is miserable. read more

Been in and out of medical appointments due to health issues and had not picked up mail since end of August. Their website was not working properly on September 10th. Tried to renew box rent of $67 that evening. Entered card information and hit submit but it showed it was on auto-debit. Tried to go back into the page and it "wasn't currently available"..great. Had to go into the office the next morning because when I tried to go in again the next morning, my box had been closed! I pulled up my bank statement showing the payment went through but was reversed? Not by me. I printed it out so the post office employee could see I tried to pay at the counter. He gave it a brief glance. I said look, obviously your site had a problem, I just want to pay and get this reopened...; I've been the same PO Box customer since 2008. He said ok, but imagine my surprise when he charged me a $22.00 late charge!! How can they get away with charging a 32% late fee when the rest of us can't get away with that! He would not budge so I asked for a number to call someone about it...it's not fair. I had evidence that I tried to pay before the 11th, but he had no empathy at all. So, I called the number and the disinterested female listened to my complaint that their policy was unfair....her response was dead silence. Hello, Hello, are you there? She snapped at me "that's our policy and we won't waive it." I said, you can waive it, but you are choosing NOT to waive it..there is a difference. She said "that's right" and chuckled. This is the last box renewal they will ever get from me. They wonder why they get so many bad reviews. 32% late fee on a $67.00 payment...talk about usery! More like THEFT. Ever try to file a complaint about a certain post office? Good luck with that one! Worst example of true customer service.
