Long lines sparse staffing- they used to have a machine in inner lobby to personally weigh and mail your packages which allowed people to reduce lines- that's been been removed for LONG TIME now. This is, without a doubt, the absolute worst experience having to deal with them. Our community mailboxes were vandalized. That means going to get our mail. There are probably over 75 more people trying to pick up their mail, but they haven't added another employee to help out and no one really cares how long you wait. It's usually 30 minutes or so. I just left (didn't get my mail) being the 11th person in line, with one employee working, it's infuriating to stand there while nothing gets done. read more

Just wanna say that this place has terrible service and the customer service here is just plain bad. I dropped off two packages at the drop off point because they were already paid for and thinking that it would be scanned that night like my previous packages have been. I give them a call the next day and they say they can't find my package nor my tracking number, so I then go in and they said oh no it's gone it just goes in a bin and get sent off to the next facility, when in the past it gets scanned right away and put into the basket along with the other dropoff packages. they lost my package, called me and left a voicemail saying that it had been delivered (it had not). I tried calling back literally two minutes after receiving the voicemail and they were closed. I have now attempted to call 8 times since they have opened this morning and they just will not answer. The phone just rings and then disconnects. I called customer service and they told me that on their end my case had been closed and the post office had selected an option stating that they had spoken to me directly (untrue). the case has now been escalated and i'm at the mercy of their incompetence. I am very sick at the moment and cannot leave my home to go to the post office. I just want my package. read more

This post office is horrible!!!! Specifically our letter carrier (or carriers)!!! I get a certified letter every month, it's a check that I depend on, our carrier is supposed to get a signature which means they have to walk their lazy asses to our door and get a signature. Well for the last three months they just put a notice in the mailbox saying nobody home to get a signature which means I have to go to the post office to sign for it myself. Now if I wasn't home I'd understand, but I work from home so they are just flat out lying!!!! The worst part is that I can only go Saturday morning to pick it up because their hours are the same hours I work!!!!! Great customer service jerk offs! I didn't think the post office can do this, but this hasn't been the first time. Waited for 2 packages that show they are "Out for Delivery". I couldn't wait any longer at my place of business, and left. An hour later my packages show that they were delivered. I go back to my place of business to find out they were never delivered, just scanned "Delivered" I'm not talking about "Attempted Delivery Business Closed" I'm talking about scanning them delivered when they were not. U.S. Postal Worker (Sunnyslope) goes "Postal" on a 5'5" teenage girl in need: I know that the U.S. Post Office has a big job, but I have to share an experience with one of their employees who was super hostile and unhelpful with my teenage daughter. On April 21, 2022 (yesterday) at 18th Street and Glendale area my daughter's car got a flat tire. Unfortunately, she did not have her cell phone with her to reach my wife or myself for help. She was alone a few miles from the house and had two small dogs with her. She approached a letter carrier in Truck #9205757 for help to see if he could help her by calling us for help. Not only did the mailman refuse to help her, he also was mean to her, accused her of soliciting money from him for gas (she didn't need his money) and made her cry when she was needing help. This heartless individual refused to help a 5'5" teenage girl who was alone with two small dogs. My daughter walked a few miles to the house in the heat of the day, without H2O, while carrying both dogs. Later that day that same mailman was delivering mail to our house (he's our mailman!) and when asked about the situation he told my son that he didn't help because he gets scammed all the time. I understand that the Post Office is not roadside assistance, but what adult human being refuses to help a teenage girl who is in need?! Today I called the Sunnyslope Post Office and the phone rang for several minutes before it hung up on me. 4/26/22- I've attempted to reach out to the Sunnyslope U.S. Postal Service to speak to a manager and no one ever answers the phone. This is the worst post office ever. I sent a letter certified return receipt to a legitimate address in El Paso Texas Last Friday. They delivered it to the post office in El Paso, Which it was supposed to go to the correct address on luckett ct. The postal slacker aka worker in the office in Phoenix said we did our job in Phoenix El Paso post office messed it up no we're not gonna give you your $13 back. You need to call El Paso post office and talk to them about the problem. customer service It's not known at this post office in Phoenix with attitude yes, how pathetic. I canceled, blocked thru check stop the check from going through because I didn't know who had it. they delivered the envelope to an unknown person the next day in the post office. The company I sent the check too, do not go to the post office to pick up envelopes or packages, bottom line. The drivers never leave anything in my package slots, we have 25 of them. They left a note saying it could be picked up at the office, I go and the woman says it's the sixth we don't have the package the driver is still out with an attitude like I'm supposed to know when the driver didn't say come tomorrow or at this time. The gentleman in front of me was picking something up and his clerk went and found out where the driver and was told the driver would be back in ten and to wait she'll get it when it comes in. I ask if the driver is almost back and she says no they get back at five, it was 4:10 so some drivers must get back earlier, the other clerk goes oh that's another driver, how the hell would you know if it's a different driver. I don't want to bring race into it but I was the only one different then the other three and treated like shit. Ridiculous and awful service. read more

I'm in town visiting my mother and the mail carrier refuses to put her mail in her mailbox because my vehicle is temporarily parked in front of the mailbox.. and he would have to get out of his little car to place the mail in it which he refuses to do. My mother was also out front and instead of being a nice man and handing her the mail he just proceeded to yell at her "you can't park there" "you won't be getting any mail". According to the post office website if a vehicle is TEMPORARILY parked in front of the mailbox he still has to deliver the mail. So apparently he makes his own rules. The service here is as lousy as the area it's located in. When I lived on 16th street back in the day, I was about 2 miles from the Greenway post office but unfortunately had to deal with this Post office. I call this the Bermuda Triangle of Post offices. Packages and mail get delivered elsewhere all the time. For some reason, my packages were delivered by them to the condos next door. It could possibly be that almost every day was different person delivering the mail. Plenty of times I had to drive down here, wait in line for 30 minutes to just be served by someone who gives Patti and Selma's attitude from the Simpsons a run for their money. Always request a Manager as the Manager can see exactly where the postman delivered the package. Plenty of times I had to have the Manager call the mailman to get the package back. Another wonderful incident was when I purchased tickets off of ebay and the sender sent it certified. I went to pick it up and had to wait 45 minutes for them to find it because they missplaced my package. I seen complaints that unlike other post offices, this one doesn't have a 24 hour lobby. If you look around the area, even I wouldn't want to go to the post office for anything after dark. If the lobby was 24 hours it would like the tent city the homeless people got going on in Downtown LA right now. If you value having your mail and packages delivered to you correctly, get a po box at any post office but this one. read more

(IF that is so, arrive in the 21st century and put the BOX at the front door like amazon, Walmart, UPS, FEDEX). 4) Mail delay because of inclement weather. (Phoenix does not have disaster tornadoes or floods) 5). Sticks a green label in your box stating the party has MOVED. 6). Stick an Orange label stating, "We Missed YOU". (Then one must take out several hours out of a day chasing one package, going to the website Filing Claims and making multiple request to REDELIVER my package or box). When no action is taken and the party isn't notified of Re-delivery, now a phone call to 800-275-8777 to make multiple complaints. 7). If the box, book, or package cannot fit put it at the front door. NO ONE has stolen one box, package, or item AMAZON, WALMART, FEDEX, UPS, or DHL has delivered. This is the insidious EXCUSE USPS makes when they have to get out of the truck to put a BOX/package at the addressee's door. Resolve: Make a bid to sell your business to Amazon or Walmart. These retailers deliver on time with NO ISSUES about items at the Front Door. NO issues with packages or boxes or even LABELS. read more

This post office is the worst. I used to have the best postal service in Tucson. It has been consistently shocking from 2012 to present that my mail is mis-delivered and often lost. Liike others, the USPS staff at this facility could care less. A month ago, I watched the post-person deliver envelopes to my mailbox and drive away, I then received a USPS message that they had delivered a package (it is lost forever and worth a couple hundred dollars). I submitted a complaint and they actually contacted me saying they would look into it. I then received a cranky phone message saying that USPS could not find my package without the tracking number (I did provide the tracking number in my original complaint) they did not leave an email or phone number for me to respond to. I then received an email saying that the case was resolved. I never received the package. A friend sent a package a week ago from Tucson and once again, I did not receive it and probably never will. This post office is a poor example of federal services, yet they could care less. So frustrated and disappointed. Is there something we can do collectively? read more

I'm usually a pretty laid-back person. But this post office and or it's carriers ARE ridiculously bad and/or incompetent. Having your mail lost repeatedly is one thing, but have it always marked as delivered when it's not there is another. There is some recourse if it is not shown as delivered with the seller but that goes out the window if it is marked as delivered. I have been down there countless times trying to find out where my packages are with a tremendous amount of my time being wasted only to get them sometimes. I've given up on USPS and will use different carrier even if it cost me more. read more

Your typical post office. The lines can get long, but really, I have seen much longer lines at other post offices. I mainly go to this place because I have a P.O. Box there.
