God forbid me to go back there again. This is the busiest time of the year and as usual they are understaffed, everyone is extremely rude, they do not want to help you at all, besides they take their incredibly sweet time competing against each other to see who can be the most incompetent. Unfortunately, I have been using this post office for years because it is close to my house. It never gets any better. There are almost always lines, very few staff and the ones that are there are not friendly. I realize this is not a fun place to work, but cmon people, try and show a little less disdain. People that work at Forest Lawn are more upbeat. read more

I went here to find out where my packages were and why they claimed to have delivered them to me. There was only one lady at the counter with a line out the door. She gave me useless information and wasn't helpful at all. I ended up filing a police report for my stolen/lost packages. This post office gets a big fat zero on customer service, not helpful and they act like they don't care about customer packages. read more

there are a couple things about this place i really enjoy: - its close to my house - i never wait in line for very long - the people behind the desk are helpful - the mail drop box in the parking lot (for those who want to mail letters and refuse to get out of their car) the only thing i really hate is the parking. I went to this post office to buy stamps. I only needed 2 first class stamps. The clerk Robin said we sell books of 10 and 20 stamps. I repeated I only needed 2. Then she says Ok but your lucky I'm doing this for you. With that attitude she is lucky she has a job! Avoid this place. read more

So. Slow. Came in at 11 to send my passport via certified mail, and walked out after 11:30. There was only one person working consistently, while another kept walking in and out. No automated kiosk to relieve some of the burden of people waiting in line just for stamps or basic mailing. read more

The former employees that worked there have been replaced! I like the new employees, they are much nicer. I don't like the people who are waiting in line and getting upset because there is just one clerk. You know what it's not their fault, they are doing their job the best they can. You should blame whoever isn't hiring enough people. Also of you see a worker in the back, there is a reason why they are back there.. they probably have to dispatch mail on time. They told me to go into the office. They refuse to help you. They don't care. They are rude. Don't come here. Any other office is better. What horrible service this place has. They are rude and the lines are long. The clerks do not seem to care about moving quickly. Also, they have left slips at my door when I am not home to receive a package (even though I have instructions to leave all packages taped on my door). Then when I go in to retrieve my package, I wait in a long line, only to find out that they cannot locate my package. I really do not like this post office. read more

This is easily one of my least favorite post office locations ever. The parking is a mess! I just can't fathom why they opened a location in a shopping center beside a Subway store. I only go here if I'm absolutely desperate. I'd give more stars if parking was better. But, overall, it's a poorly thought out location and I'm disappointed. read more

This post office location is quite tiny, but the nice staff members compensate for it. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, compared the different packaging prices for me and adviced me which one is the fastest and safest for its value. There was no waiting line either. I just dislike the limited parking confront of the building, but actually there are plenty parking spaces nearby on streets. read more

Try to avoid going to this post office. The staff has been reduced and the lines are almost always long no matter what time of day you go. Better yet, use the on-line postage buyer and just drop off your packages, which I try to do. I don't blame the staff because I think whoever is running the show is doing a poor job staffing and organizing! Is the post office supposed to be semi-privately run now? It is still run like a government office. Staff spread thin, long lines, no one to pick up the slack. On top of that, parking is tight and there are always people parking on the red curbs outside the PO which causes traffic jams. I go to the Sierra Madre PO where overall the lines are shorter and move faster. Good luck! read more

I've been to this post office twice and both times i had a horrible experience. The employee are so rude and are not very helpful. When i went in this woman named Robin had a big mouth about something that was not her business and had nothing to do with her job. When comforted she acted like a crazy ghetto person. This location has very spotty customer service. No matter the length of the line the waits are long. I do not mind waiting, but terrible customer service is not okay. On my very last visit I had to argue with the clerk who had switched the customs forms on my packages and wanted to mail them as is anyway. *Sigh* Never went back. read more

This review is to warn all of you to be careful what you mail. I have been with this post office since they first opened and even before that when the location was next to Denny's. But when opening up my p.o. box today after work around 8:15pm 11/30/2012 I saw a card/envelope that my family had sent to me was torn open and what I am guessing was cash/check was stolen. This envelope was sent from Hawaii so any postal empoyee from Hawaii to Pasadena,CA could have stolen it but someone did put the card back inside of the envelope and then into the p.o.box and I hope somehow to find out who did it. All of the Paadena employees seem very nice so I don't think it was any of them but it's just sad to think of a person opening up someoné's mail and taking money then puting the card back into the envelope to be delivered. I just want this person to get caught so it never happens to anyone else. read more

the east pasadena post office is disgusting. this post office staff has absolutely no customer service interest what so ever. although the official usps web site indicates the lobby hours (for po box access) are 12.01 am to 11.59 pm. the lobby door is locked most of the time with no hours posted. i have complained before and things improved slightly but have returned to inconsistant hours. this post office also does not have access to a mail box. so if a customer wants to mail a letter they need to go else where. since this post office is useless it should be closed and the staff layed off !!!!!!!!!! read more
