Went for the fourth time to this post office to get my mail straightened out after I kept being told that a change of address had not been done so I was told to fill out another one and took pictures of it and gave it to a manager named Ravi today I went to see if they had processed my change of address and the lady told me no and that the manager would have to verify my ID and that would resolve the problem that has gone on since August 14 so then they proceeded to tell me I could not have the mail for the company that we own because it does not show our Family name own the letter from the FTB because it is an LLC it only shows the company name, well I showed the letter I just got from his employee with the company name on it and he still wouldn't give me the mail so I asked to speak to the post master but they would not get him/her to come or they just wouldn't get out of their desk and come and speak to me. Then things took a turn for the worse he continued to be dismissive of my request so I got heated and told him to step outside and we could straighten it out so as a disabled veteran I stood my ground he acted as if he was going follow me out and of course that didn't happen all I want is my company mail that we own I haven't been able to receive it since August 14. Now I proceeded in contacting our federal house of representative Daryl Issa today to see if he can resolve this dumb problem, hopefully he will discuss this with the OIG to have the supervisor terminated. I think that as an older person I was shown nothing but disregard for the reason he could not give any straight answers. I guess they think the union will save them, that is why the postal service has always lost money in the billions every year because of employees like this person. read more

Incredible service for a post office! It was quite busy there today for holiday shipping, but the two people who were working to help folks with the kiosks were both extremely helpful and easygoing. Sadly, I didn't get their names & they were wearing jackets over name tags, but one was an African American man and the other was a Vietnamese man. It's not my nearest post office, but I'll make a point to use this one if I happen to be heading that way. The African American gentleman was able to help me with my shipping without being condescending or short with me. I very much appreciated his kind assistance. I went there to get some tracking label for my package and I usually do it on one of the self-service machines, but this time the machine wasn't recognizing the unit number of my recipient's secondary address so I decided to wait in line and get a help from one of the workers there. I went up to this old guy name "YONI" and from the start he was just condescending and rude. I tried my best to be polite to him, but instead of trying to help and address my questions, he was keep saying his own things and made things harder for me. I don't think anyone should have a hostile and condescending attitude toward his/her customer like that. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in any usps place. Everytime I come here, I feel like I'm wasting the clerks time. They always have a bad attitude and are very condescending. The African American lady is the most condescending one there. There's time where I witnessed her yelling at customer. When she helps me she has an attitude. I don't know if she's having a bad day but I don't appreciate the passive aggressiveness. Not happy with the prices! Mailed a dish towel only to San Marcos since I didn't have tome to drop it off and paid $4! Crazy! I went 2 weeks ago mailed 2 dish towels and it was $1.60. Once again tracking says our package was delivered, when it was not (as evidenced by the Ring camera). Liars; incompetent; or criminals. Pick one or all - it now seems to be the new norm for USPS. This isn't the first time - last time in 'investigation' the driver said he "must have delivered it to the wrong house' right - I hope his wife or whatever enjoyed our shoes. OMG! I just went to Kiosk at Post Office. They completely changed the kiosks and the new software must have been created by a 90 year old. What normally would take 3-4 minutes (for 2 packages) took almost 20 minutes. If you have a North, South, East, West in the address (e.g. 105 N. Main St) it doesn't understand it. So you have to go back to beginning and tell it you don't know the address so they can choose it. It's a joke. The hardware isn't any better. When you push a button to make a selection be prepared to wait at least 5 seconds for it to register. And there are at 20 buttons... hello? What used to be a great convenience (with no problems at all) has now become worse than standing in a 25 minute line! Anyone else experience this? read more

Lost packages. Rude employees. Mail delivered to the wrong addresses...just the tip of the iceberg! In the past two months I have had seven of eight packages go missing, be delivered to the wrong address, have the parcel locker keys for packages put in the wrong neighbors mailboxes. The people in my neighborhood are constantly exchanging mail with one another because the carrier for our route is consistently putting the wrong things in the wrong places. I have received mail order medications for my neighbors, they have received our bills and packages. Several items have just gone missing and never found again. "Parcel undeliverable l address incorrect or illegible" has shown up a few times and when I have gone there in person to get to the bottom of it, the package was found and perfectly intact with correct labeling. In the past six months I have been down to the post office a dozen (plus) times to retrieve packages that had nothing wrong with them-just weren't delivered and no explanation given. Had packages marked "out for delivery" and then they just vanish, no delivery, no delivery scan, nobody at the post office can locate them. Last time I was in there a few days ago for a high-value missing package I got agitated and explained to the postal worker (an older asian man) that this keeps happening more times than not and he said "calm down, it's no big deal!" Yes it is. Anita and I have spoken on the phone several times because I now have the post offices direct line on my saved numbers because I have to call so frequently about lost packages and she is constantly rude. The carrier for our neighborhood is practically worthless with the delivery and the workers at the post office are rude and indifferent to the mail THEY lost. This is why you guys lose more and more market share to UPS and FedEx every year. Get your stuff together and clean house. read more

On August 11, 2020, I went into this post office to purchase 3 Postal Money Orders; 1 for $20, and 2 for $10 each. Before leaving, I asked the clerk if I could check the status of these online, and he told me, "Awww, no. You have to bring them back in here and we can check them... if the system is even working. It's not very reliable." So I waited until yesterday, September 9 (approx 12:30pm), to take them back and check the status. Waiting in line, social distancing with a mask, etc... in about 15 minutes it was my turn. Of the three clerks working the counter, I was greeted and beckoned by the clerk on the far left. As I approached, I said, "Hey! How're ya doing? I bought these money orders in here a month ago and thought I'd just check to see if they had been cashed yet, or not. Do I give these to you or the blue door that says TRACKING?". I handed him the money orders, and as he looked them over, he said to the clerk next to him, "I'm not sure how to check money orders... do we do this here?" The clerk to his immediate left snapped back with, "Yeah, we can do it but there's a fee". I responded, "A FEE?" Then he snapped at me with, "Yeah, it's like $10 or more for each" and then he snarked to his coworker, "it's all right there under "money orders". Just punch the key..." I felt so bad for my clerk, who in NO WAY had said anything that would warrant that kind of nastiness. As he looked back at his keyboard to find "Money Orders", I told him, "Never mind. I'll just take them home. I'm not paying $10 to check the status of a money order that only cost me $10 to begin with. Thank you anyway, though." My clerk was a total gentleman. If I could single him out for 5 stars, I certainly would. However, the bulk of the visit revolved around the center clerk; a nasty, carping, Napoleonic piece of work who dragged this review down. And if I'm not mistaken, the bearded one on the other side of him is the clerk who sold me the money orders and told me I couldn't check them myself online. SURPRISE! But, the last review I wrote here was 5-star, and a coordinating post office across country also got a 5-star and it was all related to the same issue. I have probably had to contact management there 15 times due to lost mail, other people's mail delivered to my mail box or them forgetting to give us the key for a package. The manager Daniela gave me her email to let her know if it happened again but clearly she does not care as it continues to happen and she doesn't bother to follow up. I spoke to another male manager with a similar situation and asked how they plan to rectify this....his response "we don't inform the public of disciplinary actions" aka we aren't doing anything. I wish there was a way to reach out to a person above them as they have even delivered our neighbors passports and birth certificates to us. We need to renew the passport for our 6 year old daughter. The online site does not offer a solution, neither does the dedicated number. So we called the postal office in Oceanside. The first call, we waited about 10 minutes until they without any notice or even picking up, hung up. The second call, after about three minutes, a gentleman picked up teh phone and informed me about the numbers an websites ai tried before. I explained this to him and he told me to hold. I am now holding for 27 minutes and still no pick up , which is ridiculous and shameful. I will post my experience also on other internet media, illustrating the ridiculous approach this office gives. Maybe they ahve a lot of work, but this is a no-no. I just upped the score from 2 to 4 stars for the fact that I got an apologising phone call from the postal office explaining the terrible experience. Due to new hardware they suffered multiple telephone issues. Working in a corporate environment I can understand this and I thought it was very attentful to make this courtesy call. I called their number listed on the USPS website about whether they have some of my mail since there has been a vehicle obstructing the mailbox. I completely understand why the mail was not delivered, no problem there. I asked the operator whether they have my mail and she rudely replied " why would we have your mail here?" After I gave her context as to why they might have my mail. She checked and stated right back what I told her like it was going to be a surprise. Yes, I know a vehicle was parked in front of the mailbox. I told her the issue is solved and whether I can pick up my mail or will all of the mail from previous days would be delivered today. She again rudely replied " as long as there is no vehicle blocking the mailbox your mail will be delivered " after I had been completely understanding and polite. I am rating 3 stars because the operator had no knowledge or the ability to think as to why they might have my mail after giving her context and describing the situation. She also very rudely talked back for no reason even though I was understanding and apologetic as to why my mail could not be delivered. I have been to this USPS as well and everybody had treated me great and with respect but this lady operator was just awful and rude! I would've rated 1 star but my other experiences with the other 2 employees I have interacted with were delightful so 3 stars it is. read more

I just left a long, long line at this Rancho Del Oro USPS. It's Saturday, there is NO ONE monitoring the comings and goings...Almost everyone is wearing a mask; however, there is one woman who appears to be very proud of the fact that SHE is NOT wearing a mask...she's talking on her phone, completely oblivious of how everyone around her is following the mandate! Not everyone is 6 feet apart...lots of socializing going on!! Is the USPS NOT part of the government?? Why is there no one "minding the store?" I have been to this post office too many times because of mail delivery issues. Don't get me wrong, the people in the office are lovely and very caring, but holy mother of bob dole, just forward my mail!! I've been there three times because my mail isn't being forwarded. THREE. TIMES. And the issue still isn't resolved! The first time I came there, a woman took my name and number and told me I would receive a call from a manager. Well guess what?! That never happened! Okay--no joke. The passport lady (who was working on 1-18-2012) literally slammed the door right in front of my face. It was like something from the movies, I couldn't believe it. Once that happened, I waited in the different line to talk to a Post Office employee who apologized for her actions. When and spoke to her for me, and came back with an appointment book that was full for the next eight days! The employee then told me that the Temecula Post Office [(951) 506-5513] can help me because "they have no problems" and don't queue up and also accept walk-ins without an appointment. My wife and I had a passport emergency with our three kids and were not optimistic about our options but Don in the passport office restored our faith in humanity. He went out of his way to fit us in and stay after hours to handle all 3 kids at once. I can imagine he must face a lot of people regularly who are dealing with stressful situations and I congratulate him for keeping it together. Absolutely awful. I couldn't agree more with anyone who gave this facility less then 2 stars. Absolutely awful. Girlfriend went in to ask questions and apply for a passport and was barley given the time of day. It took a while to get thru the lines but hey that's a post office. Went to the older postman in the red vest that was very rude to her. She was trying to ask questions, and figure out from the source how to go about getting a passport. The man cut her off middle of her questions, had extremely rude tone and even started to walk away at one point after he jus handed her the application. Other people have had a similar experience with this facility and this should not be accepted. "Too busy"should not be a phrase they are firmilar with a service like this. The Asian gentlemen however behind the counter was very pleasant and a great help so thank you to him. Bottom line, don't go here. read more

Don't try calling by phone, you will only get a busy signal. [update] Someone did pick up the phone but quickly hung up on me, before I could even speak. I guess that's progress. Instead of a busy tone I sometimes get through but it rings forever. Nobody answers the phones here. They have been delivering the neighbors mail to my address and I have no idea where my mail is going. Expecting very important items to arrive but I've received absolutely no mail this week, usually we receive mail everyday so there is something obviously wrong. It shouldn't be this hard to contact someone, and the hours overlap my work hours so I'll have to take time off to go in person. read more

I do a lot of selling through the internet, so i am constantly at the Post Office. A plus to this post office is they installed these self service machines where it weighs your item and prints out a postage stamp. It is helpful, if you don't need anything other then basic postage and saves you from waiting in there HOUR long lines. Customer Service : I would say is hit and miss. Sometimes i get really helpful employees other times i get extremely frustrated. There are a couple of male employees that do not act appropriately with their female customers. I have seen it countless of times and have also experienced it myself. They make me feel very uncomfortable, and while waiting in the line have seen then lag on finishing up with a female customer just to hit on her. It's creepy. If i can i always try to use the self service machines. read more

There are absolute LAZY morons working here. I can't tell you how many times I've had a package notice left in our apt. comples mailboxes that I had to go pick up a package because I "wasn't home". A complete lie, since I was and the truth was the carrier was just too lazy to walk to my door to deliver the package. Our regular guy is great, but whenever he has a substitute, things go wrong. Then, when I've had to call the post office, they either DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE or put you on hold for ten minutes (because I think they're hoping you hang up out of frustration and don't bother them again). Kinda sucks for the consumer when you pay for two-day shipping and it takes an extra 2 days because you have to wait for redeliver (if they remember and don't try to say you weren't home again.). Even worse when they completely loose the package, which has also happened with these guys. read more

Yeah, this post office is the worst. Do yourself a favor and drive over to Carlsbad Village or somewhere else if you can. If you HAVE to deal with this post office, have patience. They've never been able to get my hold mail requests correct. Either they ignore it completely, or delivery the mail days before the hold is set to expire. Never mind the fact when they randomly decided to stop delivering mail to my entire community, and made everyone go into the post office to pick up their own mail. Of course when I went they hadn't even bothered sorting our mail out yet. Nice to know they decided to give themselves a vacation. Here's a tip that I learned. If you want to get in touch with them, don't bother with the phone number. It's constantly off the hook. Pretty sure it's done on purpose. Anyways, send them a fax. That line works. Twice now I have sent a fax explaining my problem and that I have been trying to reach them for hours and calling out that their phone line is busy. I've gotten a call back within hours. The postal workers ....... or the people that are dropping off the mail? That is the true question of this post office, everytime I have dropped off mail here the postal workers are fast friendly and helpful, they are quite and curtious. Anytime i have witnessed and upset person it is because they are being unreasonable and after waiting in line they just want to dump and run their mail and we all know its not that easy. There are alot of people usually, but they have all your packaging needs. Once again remember the golden rule treat others the way you want to be treated. If you come to the postal workers with respect and understanding you will get some of the best service now. read more
