This post office was close by after having dinner at Felix's BBQ in Oceanside. It was easy to find so I could drop off a card to be mailed.

Good prices and customer service. I got some important docs notarized and they also offer in-house witnesses if needed.

Staff usually are friendly and always smiles. Lines could be long but quick to move along. Plenty of parking and prices are just right.

They've lost my mail and they never answer the phone. They just hang up on you. Typical of US postal service.

Always crowded on a Saturday which seems to be when I'm racing a deadline and need to go in person. Thankful for the later hours.

I love this post office. The staff is always so nice and they appear to be happy with their jobs…read more It's a gorgeous old building, which means it has good ambiance. However, that means there is no AC. I always feel so bad for them during a heat wave. Getting in and out of here with a stroller is damn near impossible, but just don't go when you're on baby duty. There's another post office on Brooks St like 1 mile away, maybe less. The building isn't as pretty as this one and it's not as nice of a walk but it's across from a pleasant park.

I politely asked for assistance, and instead of being helped, the employee was extremely rude and hostile. While I was trying to find information, she harassed me, spoke to me aggressively, and acted as though I was an inconvenience simply for being present. To make matters worse, she got on her cell phone and was cursing and speaking negatively about the customers that she encounters, which was completely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. At one point, she told me I needed to "hurry up" because "you have literally 5 minutes before I go to lunch," as if her schedule mattered more than providing basic customer service. I asked for her name, and she said it was Michelle, but by that point her behavior had made me feel so uneasy that I couldn't trust her with my package--or even trust that she was being truthful. I took a photo and informed her that I did not feel comfortable mailing my package there and would be taking my business elsewhere. She didn't stop there she continued to harass me until I was outside the building. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are being polite and asking for help. This experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a federal service facility. I will never return to this location, and I strongly caution others unless serious changes are made.

Since this has happened twice in less than a month, I will leave a review. I usually prefer to use…read morethe kiosk to avoid dealing with lines and TRENT. But, it seems as if the kiosk is down more than it's up. I came in one day when the internet was down. Instead of signs and/or announcements indicating they could not do anything but sell you stamps, take prepaid packages and mail, they allowed people to stand in a long line, only to get up to the front and stare at you without saying anything for an awkward moment. Then TRENT told me with a snippy voice, "our internet is down. You have to go somewhere else." I didn't say anything this day. Then today I come in. Ugh, TRENT is there again. Darn the kiosk is down AGAIN! Luckily only one person in line ahead of me. That person only spoke Spanish and Trent spoke only a tad. After a few minutes, they ended up understanding what each other wanted. I am up next. I did notice a lady over at the small round table to the left and not part of the line you stand in to get service. She's taking items from a bag and putting them in a mailer. She finishes right around the time TRENT finishes with the male customer. After he walks away, Trent says "Who's next?" I said I was and walked up. Once again he just stares at me for an awkward moment and says, "Your next?" I said, "Yes, she was over there packing up her stuff the whole time I have been standing in line." He says, "She's next. If I call you and tell you, you are next, then you are next." Funny, he didn't tell the guy who had just been arrested in the line ahead of me he was next. He just walked up. I step back and get in line and the girl all smug walks up. I say out loud (only the three of us are there at this time). "OK, remind me to come to the post office next time and pack all my stuff and then just come to the front of the line." TRENT then says, "Well if you don't like it, you should go to another post office." I said, "I should have, as every time I come here and you are here..you have been rude (not just to me either). So, when it's my turn once again, I ask for his supervisors name. Then I ask if he's there and he tells me he's on vacation. So I ask for his number to contact him later. He leaves and comes back with a phone number, for Randi. I leave and try calling it and it's busy, stays busy for sometime before I think, did he give me a bogus number or take the phone off the hook so I couldn't leave a message? Moral of the story, if you walk in this unreliable post office and see TRENT. Go to another nearby location.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at the FedEx Office on Vista Way (at El Camino Real)!…read moreI came in to help my elderly neighbor shred a massive amount of old documents -- we're talking 159 lbs of paper! I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but the assistant manager was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating from the moment we walked in. He let me take all the time I needed to sort and prep everything, never rushed us, and even checked in to make sure we were doing okay. His positive attitude made what could have been a stressful chore feel easy and almost fun. This guy went so far above and beyond that I honestly can't thank him enough. Everyone working there was friendly, but the assistant manager truly made the visit exceptional. If you need printing, shipping, shredding, or anything else, this is the location to go to -- great people who actually care. Highly recommend!

I ended up cutting down a box and it required a lot of taping and I decided to take it to FedEx to see if they would even ship it before taping it some more. The guy said no problem, they would tape it up. I said but I haven't even taped on the shipping label. No problem, they would do it. I said great, thanks and walked out. Then I thought okay, no one I've ever shipped with has ever been this helpful and walked back in and said I just wanted to make sure, you know I didn't finish taping the box up? And he said no worries, we're taping it up right now and pointed at some employees who were hard at work taping it up!
