I use this post office all the time as it's closest to home. I prefer the automated machine for simple shipping needs & stamps. When I've gone to the counter for other stuff the people have always been nice. I just wish they keep an eye on the automated machine during the busy holiday (Christmas) season. I went in the other morning trying to ship out my Christmas gifts last minute (ugh!! I know, I know) & they had the doors unlocked before they opened at 9am so people can get in & check their P.O. Box & use this awesome automated machine. I was super excited that the doors were unlocked & was like "YES!!! I scored big time!!!" If your going to go during business hours (during Christmas season) expect to spend some time there due to the long lines. Don't go when your in a hurry to get somewhere else cause you won't be getting in & out that quickly. Even thru out the year there always seems to be a line for counter service but moves faster then during Xmas season. Even with the automated machine. There's always a line for that this time of year. So anyways as I'm super excited I go & put my first package on the machine & start the process to get it weighed & buy postage. I get a message telling me that the machine's scale is broke & cant weigh anything.....WTH?!?!?!? I almost cried!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now that I realized I really didn't score I had to think quick! I was able to buy the postage for my flat rate boxes but wouldn't have any way to track them or get insurance on them as I was buying a "stamp" for the price it cost to mail out the large boxes. Then I thought "damn, that was a stupid move!" But just said a prayer & hoped they would all get to where they were going & not get stolen. I found out today that my sister-in-las got her package. YES!!!! Merry Christmas ya'll!!! read more

(Seven Hills location in Henderson) Their self service hours are daily 5a-11p as posted. Every time I come within that window, (but after customer service office closure), they completely lock all doors and give NO access to the self service area. If you're going to keep the lobby closed entirely and not allow self service,, the least you can do is remove the hours of operation sign for self service. I've wasted so many trips and so much time trying to drop packages off when they're supposed to be opened, only to find every door locked. read more

Social distancing enforced via floor markers and masks required to enter. Stopped by on 12/22/2020 around Three P.M. for a last minute package drop off. Priority mail was simple (last I checked limit was 75lbs) and tracking was provided on my receipt. I dropped off a prepaid package for which tracking was also printed on receipt. I sent out a letter with tracking and guess what? Tracking was also printed on receipt. Last but not least, I picked up the Christmas stamps with Santa on them, truly a great piece of art, unfortunately tracking was not printed on receipt as it went directly into my wallet. Many thanks to Jose who attended to me and the postal workers who made the line go really fast. I for sure thought I'd be there a long time as we got closer to the Christmas Day. My visit was complete in under 15 minutes. read more

I've been using this specific Post Office for several years now for my small and large shipments and it runs quite smoothly, I've never had an issue or problem here. The staff has been helpful and kind at the counter and they have at least one person helping with the line to speed up the process. Right now it's holiday season, and when I went the other day there were two lines, one for the main check out (3 employees at the counter) and one for the self check out machine. My estimated wait time was 1.5-2 hours for self checkout. With the chaotic energy that comes this time of year during the holidays, some may think otherwise but waiting in line here was actually quite soothing. No complainers and when it's 30 degrees outside, it's warm and comforting in here. I expected that wait time, so I had no problem with it. If you got a working printer at home, it's best to self print your label -- labels can be made on their website if you don't want to wait in line. They only have flat rate priority mail and express boxes (free) available here, others (priority mail, non flat rate) you need to order online. Working pens available at the counter just in case, other boxes, packaging, cards etc available for purchase. Self checkout has stamps available. Cut off time for drop off is 5:30pm Monday-Friday and 5pm on Saturday. The Sunset location near airport has later drop off times if you need it, and it's about 10-15 mins away. Double check the USPS.com website. read more

Unbelievable, I am renting a P.O. Box there for 5 years now. two weeks ago, I filled out a red card for the post master. I was told that he would call me the next day! He never called me. Messing up my mail is HUGE@ this office. They labeled all of my letters sent to the PO Box address with the remark no address on file‼⁉So I have given everyone my pobox and they send my mail back! To open a po box there's no requirement to leave a residence address! But when I do return to sender to spa, the post office returns it into my mailbox! That's messed up and makes my life incredibly difficult. The property assessment office told me that my mail is being returned with this idiotic remark! GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW‼ read more

This Henderson/St Rose is a sad joke! Slow moving people at counter and some workers don't know how to handle their job.

I love going to us post office in st rose pkway. It's bigger area and the staff are attentive. When I was in line and I'm trying to send package going to Israel they help you on what amount of package based on priority, days , weights or tracking number. So I need to save money because I'm sending 3 boxes in different area. Mark ( the staff ) is very helpful and very patient on me because I do have a lot of questions to ensure my packages will receive and track the package. Now, I learned if it's not in a rush to receive the package do the cheapest one and they will give you a reference number for the package. read more

I think this is one of the two best USPS facilities in Vegas. The Sunset location mid-LAS runway 26 Left / 8 Right with Po is very good. The people on St. Rose are always pleasant, and very fast. It's the impatient people that make the experience difficult. Here are some rules for the customers while waiting in line: 1. No grunting, huffing, or Shakespearean sighs of exasperation. You're life ain't that tough. You don't live in Venezuela and you're not on an overcrowded raft fleeing Syria holding your life's possessions in your arms. 2. Know the rush hours (lunch) and avoid them. 3. Don't complain that there are not enough clerks, deliberately aloud and within earshot of the clerks, and then look around trying make eye contact with the other people in line to agree with you. There will be no postal line revolution or coup d'état. If there are too few clerks don't blame the clerks. 4. Mind the bubble space of others in line. Getting so close to the person in front of you that they can feel/smell your halitosis hot breath fog on their neck will not get you letter mailed any sooner, though it may get your car keyed. 5. Cellphone chatter, not. 6. Letting your kids play on the floor? Why not just give them a screwdriver and point them in the direction of a wall socket? I'm calling Social Services. 7. Box-prepping-package-pushing-while-in-line people, we hate you. I hope the neck fogger halitosis dude pays you a visit. 8. And for the handicapped sticker people who hop out of their cars and dash in with more agility than Giannis Antetokoumpo, don't you feel any remorse for taking a handicapped spot from those who are truly ambulatorily challenged? Nah, I didn't think so. read more

We have a PO Box here, and every time we have a package we have to wait in the long mail line to pick it up. It's ridiculous!!! Worst post office ever. Everyone is rude. Service is terrible. Wait is an hour minimum.

Doors locked again on Sunday April 21, 6:25 am . Sign says open at 5:00 am. Rates keep going up but it seems the service is going down.

I rarely need to call the post office cause my mail shows up as it should, however today I notice an image with my check Ive been waiting for and I'm thinking it will show up today as all my mail does when I use the Notification Center but it doesn't. I call this post office, speak to the operator and she said this service doesn't work I should wait two days which is absolutely not true my images are always accurate, I ask can you tell if my driver is still en route she says I'll let your carrier know and hangs up. Good news is they are delivering right now as I'm writing this message and staring out my window lol but why even put the doubt out there. Have more faith in your company, I'm sure their job is hard enough. Hire someone that backs them up and knows what is going on. read more

This location has always been super helpful and recently they were able to make an effort to find me and deliver a letter that had an incomplete address from the government that was a very important time sensitive document. Slooooooooooow. This is a terrible post office, slow, bad attitude from workers, long lines. They have a self check out station/machine, only 1, so that can be annoying when there's 8 people in front of you. I guess you never really hear "good things" about the post office, right? read more

If you need stamps, this is your place. I really appreciated the gal that said to the line "If you are here to only buy stamps and are using debit/credit card I can help you over here." That would be me! I got to jump out of line, a short line, a line that was moving rather quickly, to her cart. She showed me what she had, I picked two cool sheets one of Disney and the other of Halloween Pumpkins, she ran my debit through her wireless, handheld device and I was out the door. This post office is clean, convenient and I really like the drive through mailboxes for my outgoing mail. Thank you! read more

This post office forwards their call to a line they don't answer and has no answering machine. It doesn't matter how many times you call. I've called literally 10 times today and let it ring until it hung up on me (over 3min each time). I have a live animal delivery that says it should be delivered today. Typically these deliveries arrive early in the morning and they call you to come pick them up, but randomly they might decide to just deliver them to your door. You never actually know. The post office is not close to me and the lines there are always long and incredibly slow so stopping by in the middle of my work day isn't possible just to check on this package. I receive live animal shipments a few times a year so I am very familiar with how the process works and how fast these animals ship. The tracking information indicates it will be delivered by 8pm, yet they close at 5:30pm so if it's expected that I pick them up then they won't be picked up until the morning. Given that these are baby chicks they don't survive long in these conditions and an extra night of no food, water or warmth can easily cost them their lives. My past experiences have always been decent at this location other than the wait times...but literally forwarding your phone to avoid calls and not contacting someone on a live animal delivery is unacceptable. Here's to hoping these birds live through the rest of their travels. read more

Three stars because they are understaffed. Loss of 2 stars because they have no inventory and supervisors lack customer service skills.

I've been using this post office for 6 months and twice I've had to report that a tracked item showed it was delivered to me in my mailbox, but I did not receive it. Went to the post office to complain and spoke to several supervisors who said they were concerned, but they never located my mail or contacted me after I left the post office. I give them two stars because they take care of customers quickly in line and they are pleasant even when you're complaining about their service. read more

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The line moved quickly so no reason to get overwhelmed.

Crappy. They lost my package and when I tried to call them, they didn't even pick up during their business hours. Give me a break

Mostly long wait times with limited staff . Also had many issues. Hi location with packages being delayed

I asked Juan, the supervisor about my package I dropped off on 8/24/20 & he said, he doesn't know & there's no way to find out though online tracking said, received 11:40 am on 8/24 & still in Henderson, NV. Today is 8/27. So I asked for the Postmaster. Waited for 25 minutes and Stella came out. She said, she's the manager. Very rude, unhelpful & very negativistic. She started yelling & told me it's not her problem to fix my problem. Wish there's another USPS near me. Don't want to deal with them again. read more

Worst experienced i ever had from the Staff of this office.... I got a federal and state notices that I need to reply ASAP . I received a note inside my residence mailbox to pick up 3 important notices from the IRS and FTB of California inside my mailbox. I went to the Saint Rose Pkwy office at least 5 times and they can't find it... I waited for so long each time because the lines are always too long.. Finally, I talked to the Supervisor, after 5 times, 5 different days and she was no help... They can't find it...even though i presented to them the note from my mail carrier to pick them up at this location.. Yesterday, i finally got another paper notice from my mail courier that 1 IRS notice was found and ready for pick up at this location. What happened to the other 2 notices??? Bottom line--my mail courier was very kind, polite, respectful and helpful for helping me on this... She went over and beyond her line of duty to communicate with me in a very positive way. The staff from the Post Office- NAHHHHHH. very negative rating. But.. still , i have struggled to find the other 2 notices.... I will report this to the proper department. Any suggestions are very much welcome and I am hopeful that none of you will ever experience this NIGHTMARE... read more

This is the 2nd best location for grumpy old people watching. The best place?, Any bank at 11:30am, pure grumper gold. There are so many options for package delivery these days why fuss with this mismanaged time consuming black hole. The workers here are slow, there are four counter spots, yet only two are ever open and there's no one working the floor to help speed up anyone's shipping processes. The parking is another mess. There are only about twenty-five spots in the front, but there's usually about fifty people here trying to send packages to loved ones or hated ex-lovers. Avoid this place and use FedEX, UPS, DHL, Amazon drones, literally anything is better than this snail-paced service. read more

There were 10 people in line. The seal on my manila envelope came loose. I asked for one piece of scotch tape from the "helpful" assistant who is checking in with people and was dismissed and told I would need to "get it at the counter." For a piece of tape? Temple City area USPS (Oak Ave) is the closest USPS branch from my residence. They are always busy and always short-staff! Lines are long most of the time since there is almost always one postal clerk working the windows, Virginia. I asked her once if she was the only employee working and she just smiled. I'm glad I said something since right after I made my comment, out came another postal clerk. Virginia winked and whispered "thank you". Glad to hear I'm trying to improve their service :) read more

If I could rate usps a zero I would. I get updates that my packages are delivered but nothing ever shows up. Who ever is attempting to "deliver" my stuff can not read. This has happened multiple times and when I make a complaint, they offer no solution, and only say sorry. So basically I'm out of luck because their employees are incompetent. I've never had an issue with an Amazon delivery and they actually seem to care if you get your item. Shame on you usps, your employees need better training and you need higher standards. I'm tired of losing money on items you fail to deliver. read more

Delivery once, Then within half an hour, my package was returned to the sender on the grounds that it was unclaimed but my parents had been at home and they had not seen any staff delivering the package to their doorstep. The next morning, when the post office opened, I went to the post office to check my delivery status and was informed that my delivery had left Las Vegas yesterday on the way back to the sender. From delivery to return to the sender, it took half an hour before I could respond to my request. The express has already been returned read more

I write this with the caveat that 98% of the time I send out packages, I have no issue with this post office, BUT... I sent out 11 packages Monday and on Wednesday I received one back in my mailbox. Immediately I went back in and waited about 30 minutes while the GM Juan tried to figure out what happened. He told me that with their system there´s no way that could have happened, I was a little dumfounded given that I had the package in my hands so obviously it did happen...I showed him the tracking info on my phone which verified that it was received by them on Monday & that the current status showed ¨in transit to next facility.¨ He then had me wait a few more minutes while he went to check something else, when he finally came back I said ¨I didn't care how it happened but can you at least express this so my customer could receive her package on time.¨ His answer was ¨I can put it in the express pile but a worker will see its in a priority box and move it back to priority most likely.¨ He refused to put an express sticker on my box or admit that they had even made a mistake with original shipping, but he did assure me he´d do the most that he could do, which was put it at the front of priority. Had he done simply that I wouldn't have taken my time to leave a review. The package did not even get scanned into USPS until after 9 PM that night when I dealt with Juan early afternoon. That was Wednesday and with their ¨2 day priority shipping,¨ the package still didn't get to my buyer until Saturday when her event was Friday. Mistakes happen but how this was handled was deplorable, shockingly deplorable. read more
