Easy access from Horizon Ridge Parkway, as well as St. Rose Parkway. If you come early in the morning when they first open, you're able to get in and out without a long wait. The workers speak and are friendly. They offer services, such as post office boxes. In addition to stamps, you can purchase gift cards.

10:41AM on a Friday. Customer service line is backed-up to the front doors because the customer service clerks are slow & inefficient.

The problem just keeps getting worse. Even at 'off-hours,' the parking lot is a mess, lines inside are long, and they keep jacking-up rates for things like PO Boxes. Granted, the area has had huge growth, however my opinion, as someone who unfortunately has been doing-there at least 5 times a month for the past 11 years, and has attempted to communicate with the local Postmaster as-well as USPS Office of the Inspector General, is that most of the issues at the Seven Hills branch (and other local ones as well as the USPS in-general) is that the staff know that can get-away with being slow/lazy because their Postmaster is either the same way, or just has zero leadership skills. For some special PO Box services, I'm told I need to fill out a form. I fill out the form, try to hand it to the staff, and they tell me it's not needed, getting angry when I dare suggest that contradicts other info. They don't accept the completed form, so sometimes I just 'deliver' it by sliding it under their office door or putting it in their local mail mailbox, but regardless of whether they accept the form from me or not, the end result is the same -- I get an automated email sent to me indicating the additional free service I signed up for has been terminated, because they did not receive a completed form authorizing it within the allotted time. We really need DOGE to clean-house, ideally starting with these 89077 dumb sloths.

Christmas Cards are in the mail!

"Neither snow nor rain heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds," will ever let us down!! It's that nice of year!! We have to mail all those special words to those family and friends around the globe. It's time to get those things in order and go to the post office. These days the lines can be long. Be happy that the individuals behind the desk are here to make all your work a little less busy. That package has to get there before Christmas! The postal worker has an incredible job to stamp and mail your most precious of joys. These days the lines seem to move a little bit faster. New technology has made it easier to send your gift and cards to those all around the globe. At this local post office if you lead that "Vegas life," where we work all hours of the day a machine can help you mail that special card or package at all hours of the day. The local business is open all hours of the day to mail that special message to those that we love. You just have to interact with the postage mail machine is all. Now usually it all goes down with no issues. Sometimes we have to meet with the human aspect to correct any issues that might arise with our issues. Beware! Now that the letters are out it's time and get ready and receive your mail. You can purchase a PO Box here and ensure your mail is always safe. Are you taking a trip? Need to update your passport you can do that here too. An appointment is necessary for these services. Need to pick up a package from the postal carrier they have a special window you can visit without standing in the main line; just ring the bell during regular business hours. Visit and get all your stamps for all those special moments come to fruition. That beautiful card inside deserves an incredible stamp too! Let's celebrate with joy and happiness always with who knows the joys that await you from the mail!

Long lines because only 2 clerks working

I just came from the other location on Horizon and Valle verde, line moved quick because there were 4 clerks working, stood in line for about 5 minutes at other location to find out St rose and seven hills is my post office. Now waiting here with about 10 people ahead of me and 2 clerks to put in a request for a new lock on my mailbox.

Doors locked again on Sunday April 21, 6:25 am . Sign says open at 5:00 am. Rates keep going up but it seems the service is going down.

Three stars because they are understaffed. Loss of 2 stars because they have no inventory and supervisors lack customer service skills.

Through all the days the one thing you can depend on is the mail person bringing you that special package. These days the lines aren't as long as they used to be because of the newest technology that is available to the general public. If you feel brave enough you can even buy stamps and mail a package with an interactive kiosk. Can you image mail being delivered on horseback, much has changed since the beginning of the early years and days of the post office. The inception of the postal system was established in Philadelphia on July 26, 1775. The beginning of the American Revolution appointed Benjamin Franklin as the first postmaster general. Over the years the post office was declared and made its own entity still funded by the federal government, but it granted its employees retirement benefits after so many years of service. Today, this entity functions most of the time as a flawless machine. When I checked the tracking for the packages on 12/12 to see if they were delivered, the 2 to Hawaii showed they were received on 12/6 at the Henderson Post Office but no further tracking showed on line. So I went to the post office and stood in a horrific line to see what happened. There was only 1 window servicing passport customers and 1 window taking mail and packages. After a 35 minute Wait I approached the counter and provided my tracking receipt and explained my situation. The woman who helped me at the counter was rude from the get go, like I was taking time from her day. While explaining my issue, an African American man working the other counter started yelling at me saying the date is an estimate delivery and that their location does not hold packages. I responded who's helping me, her or you. Like mind your business and help the customer you're helping. Anyway the gal helping me disappeared in the back with my receipt. About 5 minutes later she came back to tell me they were not holding my packages. That wasn't my question I explained. I asked her it says packages received at the Henderson location but there is no further tracking after that. So I asked her how can I have this looked into. She said you have to file an inquiry. I said well can't you help me with this, it's why I'm here she said no I don't know how and you have to look on line. Like wtf, I paid $85 to ship 2 small boxes and y'all can't get it right or even help. I went on line to try and find where to file an inquiry and it's not easy navigating through the USPS website. So I finally found the site and file missing packages. It's been 4 days and no reply from anyone and the packages are still incognito. Every time I go to this location everyone at the counter is rude and speaks in a condensing tone. If they hate their job so much, why are you there. I'm beginning to think someone stole my packages before they even left the post office, thus why there is no further tracking after they were received and processed. Very frustrating and disappointing to say the least. And sadly my family may never receive their packages for birthday and Christmas.

They have at least 1 or 2 people available to assist, in addition to the separate line for package pick up. I must admit the staff is pretty courteous and hospitable and I like their attitude when it comes to assisting customers. The only issue is that they sometimes get backed up, especially when there are a ton of people needing any services earlier in the day. They have a decent amount of parking, but there are times when I have had to stalk people for a spot. They have ample space if you need to assemble packages on site, which is nice. The postage kiosk is a good option to have, too. All in all, avoid the rush of first thing in the morning, utilize the drop off area or counter for pre-paid postage. Otherwise, be prepared to encounter some wait time.

By and large, the people that work here are very cordial.. I wouldn't say they go over the top of being friendly, but they get the job done. And for a service-based establishment, that's the best I can hope for. Like I mentioned before, the lines can be very long first thing in the morning, as they open a half hour earlier than my usual one at seven hills. But the nice thing is if you already have stuff that is pre-postaged, you can usually just walk up to the counter and hand it to them. Bottom line? It's a post office, plain and simple. I will continue to use this unless something drastic changes.
