Don't ever mail an important letter (to the Social Security Office, so you can imagine what documents were inside) that the Henderson Post Office is responsible for getting to its destination! And if you do, hope that you don't have 'Jay' assisting you to find it once they lose it or destroy it or who knows what?! He was rude and absolutely unprofessional! I don't know what his title is but he should not be dealing with customers. What an awful experience! After almost a month of no effort on his part to keep me informed, when I asked what my next step was to finding this envelope, he said...'I guess you're just outta' luck.' Thanks, Jay! You're everything I had hoped for in a representative of the USPS! read more

Amazing that anyone still goes here. The lines are always incredibly long. Just a depressing experience every time I realize I have to go here. They don't even have an electronic tracking system to know where your package is located. Last time I was here to pick up a package it took them 35 minutes to locate it. Something as simple as sending a certified piece of mail always takes half an hour plus because of the ever present lengthy line. Sadly, the Post Office is relegated to an awful experience, time and time again. read more

I haven't been treated this badly by someone I was paying money to in my life. I had to go to the post office to get my mail after they removed it from my post box (I don't have the luxury of getting my mail every day). When I presented my ID the clerk asked my why I haven't picked up my mail, and since I don't think I need to explain myself to her I didn't answer. She proceeded to tell me that I must answer her, so I told her I was busy. She said that wasn't good enough. I haven't been treated that way since I was in the third grade. After threatening to stop delivering all mail to my home she finally got my mail which included several large packages that wouldn't have fit in my mailbox anyway. When did it become my obligation to go out of my way to pick up piles of junk mail that I proceed to throw directly into the recycle bin, just to keep from inconveniencing the USPS? Hey, USPS, focus more on serving your customers and less on telling them how to live their lives! read more

Ladies and gentlemen I am writing a review on this post office. I have filed several complaints with management. Have ignored all of my complaints because I am missing mail I am missing silver and gold coins I have ordered. I spoke to the mailman that delivers my mail to me unfortunately we have a US citizen that cannot speak English and that is delivering mail I have over $500 of merchandise missing out of my bell box either the mailman is stealing my mail or he's putting it in somebody else's mailbox and my neighbors are not saying anything because they are happy they received silver and gold. I asked the mailman where is my mail he said I'm sorry I just deliver mail I told him since December 5, 2020 I have been missing mail even though I get emails from US PS what is supposed to be delivered that day in mailbox and no one can give me any answer to what happened to my mail. Today December 13 at 8:30 AM I went to the post office we did in line until 9 AM finally I get to a supervisor and I give him all the information he closes the door on my face and says that they will investigate this was the second alleged investigation that they are doing. I think the mailman is stealing my mail. This is very disappointing of our federal government hiring people that do not speak English nor even understand English last time I checked this was United States of America and everyone needed to speak English. I am not racist however if you're losing my mail this is very disappointing now I cannot get my money back from these companies because it says that it has been delivered. I am very disappointed of our United States post office service. And it's managers that are very poor on providing customer service. To all my neighbors in Henderson Nevada please be careful because the mailman is stealing our mail. Now I have lost $500 worth of silver and gold and the post office says we are sorry to share my insights I tried to go to the Henderson police department to file a police report on Thursday the police department said they cannot file a police report against a federal government identity. I don't know where our country is going but this is very disappointing. I've moved here from Pasadena California to Henderson Nevada and when I received my Ballot I have received seven other ballots from seven other different people I went to the post office and said I've received all of these ballots and none of these people live here I've been living here for three years and I'm getting different peoples mails in my mailbox I asked them to give me a straight answer why I am getting seven different ballots under seven different names all they said is maybe they live there that does not make sense when I forwarded all my mail and in my mailbox has my last name and my wife's last name and these people Understand following an Armenian last name in which in my neighborhood in my community we are the only Armenians in my community I don't understand how this mailman can make mistakes my neighbors and fellow colleagues beware of US post office in Henderson Nevada. read more

Has anyone else tried CALLING this postal location? They must only have one phone line and it is ALWAYS busy!! I've tried for two days to get a question answered about on-line prices for their priority boxes. I want to know where to find a "Regional A" box, which is about 1" smaller in overall dimensions than the medium size boxes that are available for free in their lobby. I can save at least $3.75 in postage if I was able to find one to use. I, too, often wonder why this location is never fully staffed. Wouldn't it make sense for the desk on the side to be manned for those of us who just need stamps or have a specific question? Why bother to install such a feature when it doesn't get used? Everything the government touches turns into a disaster, doesn't it?- read more

This St. Rose Post Office fits the stereotype of long lines at the post office. The employees seem decent and are never combative or angry. I'm sure they know it's a post office and lines are long, and they seem like they try and get people through as quickly as possible. It's usually what customers are needing done that takes longer than the actual service. Having said this, it's frustrating to go in and almost always there's a line, whether it's lunch time or not, holiday season or not. I'll take the DMV over the post office any day of the week, because at least there, you can usually find a place to sit. If there's a long line and only one person working (which is not as rare as one would hope), I leave. Not worth the wait when I can come back another time. Most of the post offices in the area aren't great (looking at you, too, Pebble), but this one gets 2 stars because the employees aren't too bad, and it's conveniently located by where I work. read more

One worker. Over 20 deep. It took forever to get a letter mailed. They need to hire more people.

I was waiting in line at this post office when the lone window clerk asked the manager for change. The manager's name is Stella and I have seen nobody less competent or less sane. And I'm old. She actually answered the clerk with "What happened to the change I got you yesterday? No! You can't have change!" The two women at the window were trying to think of things to buy so they didn't need change. How ridiculous. No wonder the workers hate being at work. I hate witnessing such abuse. I wish I could give Stella negative stars, although I've never had any difficulty with the actual workers there. read more

I read a lot of negative reviews about this post office so wasn't looking forward to calling them for help. I wasn't able to track a package I dropped off at that post office a couple days ago so I called to get some assistance. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with not only the professionalism but the absolute courtesy this particular agent displayed. I wish I would've gotten her name but either way, the main thing here is the customer service I received could not have been better! read more

Today was my third visit to the post office. I usually go to the one near the airport, which I love. For the third time, the lines were long and moved slowly. Unfortunately only two windows were open. The agent who helped me today, did not want to listen as I tried to finish my sentence, cutting me off rudely. When I attempted to give some feedback about my situation she was not interested in listening and sent me to a supervisor. While the supervisor was helpful, if my mail carrier had done things differently from the beginning, I would not have had to make a trip during my work hours to the post office. I totally understand why the post office overall is in deep trouble! read more

I called in this morning and received the best service from a lovely blonde lady in the back prepping for the day- Dawn, Donna? She really went above and beyond to help me get my package so that my little girl would have what she needed in time. I'm really appreciative of the great service I received from her and the post office today. read more

Yeah that guy with the glasses. Could you at least tell him to at least fix his attitude?? Because every time we all go there he looks like he's just miserable as heck always giving a dang attitude to everyone. I think your location would be 1000% better if you just find another person that can be a little more helpful than that guy. read more

I moved here 6 months ago and never have had so many pieces of mail not delivered or lost!

Came to the post office because our complex's mailbox package slot was broken. (There's 4 slots for packages.. 2 of them have keys jammed in them and ripped off so they are stuck inside.. it's been this way) We were told That we had to go to the post office to get a key remade so we went to the post office to do it ourselves. We got Eugene who treated us poorly and didn't say much other than to treat us like we were stupid. After we explained what we needed help with, he just walks away from us and brings a paper and tells me to write our name and address down. After I write it down, he points at our address and just says with a smirk "this is henderson" .. we said that we knew it was henderson.. we live here. And he simply repeats himself "this is henderson" to keep making us feel like we are stupid ... and after we just look at him like what's the problem? Just tell us! He says we came to the wrong post office. I then say.. can you please tell us where to go then?? And he disappears again and comes back with the address to the post office we needed to go to and says "you better hurry.... " How about just telling us where to go instead of playing games and treating us poorly like we are stupid and wasting time by doing so?? It was 4:30pm when we left and we headed towards the other office. They were closed since 3pm. I wonder if he knew that. Is it so hard to just be nice to people? and if not.. how bout being professional? read more

Was expecting a foreign package and tracked it daily.... package out for delivery yesterday, but carrier determined it was undeliverable as addressed. Went to post office and my request to search for it was immediately dismissed. Agent made up a story saying the package had already been returned to the sender (China). I could tell he was brushing me off and finally realized I was not going to leave the window until he looked for it. Meanwhile, the actual carrier walks by and says he mis - sorted my package yesterday and would deliver it today. Ok..so the carrier made an error and corrected it. The window agent was too lazy to find the package so he lied. This example shines a light on my post office experiences for several years...you have a 50% chance of things going right at the post office. read more

this is the worse place to do business in Nevada, it takes 40 for them to answer and then they put you on hold for 30 minutes and then it hangs up on you, I tried to call back just rings and no one answers, called 10 more times, they couldn't know who was calling them, and they still never answered, the worse, I will never use them again to send out stuff, when I buy anything from now on I will tell shipper to only use Fedex or UPS read more

yes, my stoner mailman must be high, because he also delivered my box and key to the wrong mailbox and the ahole neighbor who got it stole it from me !! i am so pissed right now. hate usps!!! then i opened a case online after waiting an hour on hold with the 800 # and this branch manager called me to say he'd look into my case. well, who knows what he did, because he didn't call me back and went online and closed my case. u reopened it and he went in and closed it again with no communication , again. i feel we should report this branch to the post master of henderson. it's like they're trying to hide the poor service and negligence that i'd going on there!!!they don't even deserve 1 star!!! read more

Suda is the best. She's kind, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great experience.

I have mailed a priority mail that was lost and never recovered so far with gift cards inside. The lines are always huge.

The post office leaves a key in the parcel box which does not work!!!! They don't answer the phone and when they finally do, they hang up on you. Rude!! Terrible delivery service and I still don't have my two packages. Over and over trouble with the post office and the post person!!! How does one get something done about it??? read more

Horrible experience during the 2 times I had to physically come to this branch. I'm new to the area & this was my first parcel I was expecting to my new address. Ebay rep sent my parcel almost immediately after payment, it took 3 or 4 days to reach me... or so I thought. It was flagged by USPS as "undeliverable as addressed"... Twice. My paypal and ebay info were accurate. It just lingered in Henderson somewhere for two weeks. I explained my situation during the first time I received the "undeliverable" message, and they were just rude about hunting it down, like I was a burden. "We have a whole pile of incorrect mail, I'd have to look through the whole pile" WELL YEAH that's what they pay you to do, to address customer concerns. "The address probably cut off on the label, next time put it on the second line" unsympathetically and "no I don't see it. We PROBABLY sent it back to sender this morning". There's a tracking number! I'm sure the usps has more accessible info than the consumer! How does the package just disappear from the radar? They sent it to Arizona a few days later (not even where the package was sent from) then back to Henderson, where it was flagged "undeliverable" again. Luckily I was off that same day so I went right down the the post office to check it out before it would "probably" be sent out again. It. Was. There. With the correct full address, nothing left off! Dated for 5/26/15. He had no answer for me when I said the correct address was there the whole time, and asked why it couldn't be delivered. I gave it one star because there are no zero stars / I finally received the package 6/10/15. read more

oh god. I'm giving two stars ONLY because the workers seem relatively pleasant. Out of the two dozen? Post offices in my life I've dealt with, this is the slowest. Horrifying. At first, on this particular day, they seemed grossly understaffed, with one person out. Then 3 more came out, but they all slowed down to do no more than the one person. It's like watching baywatch slow motion, except without bathing suits or any upside. On the bright side, they have metal detectors going in, which is good, because you might otherwise be tempted to bring in a sharp object and take yourself out after an eternity of waiting. Be sure to bring a birthday hat because even if you had your birthday the day before going, you won't get out without celebrating your next birthday. Thank god they -seem- at least reasonably pleasant, because this is "exhibit A" for government workers getting paid the same whether they serve 18 customers in an hour or 1. read more
