Full Set Acrylics - Marginal at best. 7 of 10 nails have bright pink line as the nails grow out (I think this is over sanding/too high speed at the cuticle). No shaping done to speak of so nails are uneven and not elegantly shaped. I was trying this nail shop for convenience of location, but I have had much better work done elsewhere at the same price. Polish/Manicure part of the job was well done & lasted 2 weeks nicely, so maybe they are okay for just mani. Staff was nice, but I won't be going back based on my experience. read more

I have been going to US Nails for almost all of the three years I've lived in the area. I first went with a friend who is a longtime customer and although we each don't go often enough for them to know our names, they always do and will ask one of us about the other when we go solo. There's nothing luxurious about the salon, and it's decor is cheesy as nail salons often are. But all of the women who work there are exceptionally nice and I don't recall any turnover since I started going there. And as I often prefer to read a magazine or book during a pedicure, they also respect my lack of talkativeness. All of the manicurists are professional, and are exceptionally detail oriented in ensuring your nails are perfect when they finish (I however always manage to mess up at least one before leaving which they patiently fix). And prices are reasonable. $32 for a quality manicure/pedicure is a great deal in my book! I am always happy to make it an even $40. Finally, they always manage to accommodate walk-ins and last-minute appointment makers like me without too much inconvenience to other customers. read more

No attention to detail and very poor service. I have been here twice and both times have not been satisfied. Nails were not files properly after pointing out that the nail is crooked. I went here to try acrylics for the first time, and they are TERRIBLE. Within 4 days, they had started popping off. Also, they are incredibly rough around the edges of my nail bed and underneath my tips. They are bubbly and shadowy in between my natural nail and the fill, causing weird colors and spots. She also buffed away the skin on one of my nail beds, to the point where it bled and scabbed. The good news is she put antiseptic on it right away, it didn't feel unhygienic at all but it does look bad. It took about 45 minutes to put a full set on, which I thought was a pro at first but then she was super rushed so it turned out to be a major con. The pros: I got there at about 4:45-5, and the after-work crowd hadn't shown up yet, so she was able to get me in right away, without an appointment. It was also cheap! A full set was only $30. I went to a salon in Texas to get my nail that had popped completely off redone, and he did a MUCH better job. The nail is smooth and looks much more natural. I now know that there are places that do acrylics much better, and I would prefer to pay a bit more and have nails that actually look nice. I will not be returning to US Nails for acrylics. read more

I'm really sad about this review, we have gone here for years with fantastic results. I am assuming it's been sold, the people who did my recent pedicure didn't seem to have a real grip on how it's done. My heels are still a calloused mess, the woman who painted my nails waved a hair dryer over them for a few minutes to dry them, then started to put my sock back on. I touched my nail to see if it was really dry, and of course it wasn't so she had to do it all over again. Very disappointing after so many years. read more

I just relocated from Simi Valley, California to Redmond, Washington and had to find everything new again. It was tough to find a place that would "replace" what I lost no matter how good their services were. Recently, the salon changed under a new owner and her name is Nina. Sweet, young, and passionate, she is so EAGER to please. I now receive wonderful neck massages after EVERY visit AND enjoy their frequent customer discount card. For me, the warmth is equally as important as the work. I feel SO special and pampered every time I walk in there. I'm so happy to have found Nina. Any of the technicians offer a great manicure/pedicure service at a great price, which also goes for their waxing services. I'm disappointed to say that after many years of visiting US Nails, I'm moving on. Over the past couple of years the service and product quality have become very inconsistent. So many of the polishes were old, I had begun bringing my own each time. Then the work began to suffer as well. Sometimes it was fantastic, other times mediocre, depending on the manicurist and how busy they were. The last straw was after I showed up for my mani/pedi appointment, they gave me my pedicure, then had me wait while they gave someone else an "emergency manicure" (not repair, manicure) before I could have my own manicure. They know me, I always tip 20%; why the bad service? Anyway, when it was all done, I gave her a large bill and she asked me if I wanted any change; in other words did I want to leave a 40% tip? I left her the 20%, but have not returned. I'm giving them three stars only because of our good history. Unfortunately the most recent experiences don't warrant two. read more

I got a shellac manicure on Wednesday, today is Friday and it is already chipping away and peeling up. The lady who did my nails did an awful job! She got the shellac on my skin around my nails and the shellac was all bubbly. I know you get what you pay for but $25 plus tip for something that lasts two days when it should last two weeks is not ok. read more

I honestly love this place. I went here for my freshman homecoming and they were open to do anything. And now I come every two-three weeks to get my nails redone. The workers make me feel loved and important. The managers gives me a hug when I walk in. Whenever I have a problem with my nails they put in initiative to fix the problem and the place is just the right size and it feels very cozy and homie evertime I walk in. This is the best place I have found for a pedicure in all the area. They really tend to your feet and get it very smooth. I love the designs on the big toe. It usually lasts a month or more even with beach/pool time. Not great at acrylics, but the best pedicure. I do not get my nails done here. Just a great Pedicure!!!! read more

Changed ownership and when I went in for French tip mani/ pedi the on my fingernails ran so the lines were irregular I asked her to remove and just do clear. The pedicure was worse my toes were red especially the big toes as she dug into the cuticles I had to ask her to stop. Both big toes are a little infected. I had to remove the polish on my toenails and put clear on. That mess cost me me $43. read more
