I really like this shop. They do good service at a reasonable price. It's in the mall next to QFC so convenient to other businesses. The only reason I don't give it a higher rating is because I made the mistake of making an appointment on their online system. I even got a confirmation text but when I showed up for my appointment the next day, they said the tech I booked wasn't working that day and they had no one who could take me. The "funny" part was I had completely forgotten all about the appointment and made it all the way home from the same mall and had to turn around and rush back over to make it on time. My friend and I booked appointments for a Friday at 6PM. We were already in the area and showed up a little earlier, like around 5:30PM. I am so glad we showed up earlier than our scheduled appointment time because we were there for three hours... It was VERY busy there the whole time we were there. It was prom season, the start of Mother's Day weekend, and they were short three employees. Got a gel manicure here this past Friday and was already unhappy about a couple of imperfections. I tried to ask them to fix it, but they seemed in a rush. A few hours later bubbles appeared on two of my nails randomly, and then the next day one of the bubbles burst and left an open spot. See the pictures below, this is absolutely not a $50 manicure. The pink me up team got me in last minute at the end of the day for both nails and toes. picking a color felt very rushed and unorganized as colors were all over the place. on both my (gel) toes and my (dip) nails, layers were done incredibly thin, only 2 each, and they pealed and nails broke just days after visiting. My daughter found this place last sep I think when we were trying to establish our self in the area. We started going and honestly they were doing amazing job. They take their time to do what they need to do. Once dec hit not sure what happened. It started to be rushed service, not good polishing and the prices become way more. Like I don't mind paying more if the service is good. We went three weeks ago and they rushed us so much thinking okay it's the end of the day so why would you give us appt for one hour when you are closing in 30 min. We went again yesterday. The lady who was doing my pedicure was rushing so fast to the point she injured my heel as she was removing the callus and took a piece of my skin and flesh off. I told her she hurt me and she was like sorry and kept going. Her nails were literally stabbing my skin and I told her. Then as she put my foot back in the water it started to burn me where the cut happen. So I told her and she took my foot out. I was bleeding and she started cleaning my foot with the same water I was soaking my feet in. Then another technician told her to clean it with alcohol. She did and kept going. I looked and I see blood dripping down again. So she put more alcohol. Her excuse was sorry I didn't see it. Like how do you use shavers on an area that's not part of the bottom of the feet if you weren't paying attention from how fast you are going. Now let's talk about my manicure. I asked for basic one with the gel remover and to make my nails shiny. They were just rushing so much to be able to fit as much as they can with other clients. I honestly got so turned off from this place as I was hoping they would be better how they used to be but nope after yesterday I am not going back. Whoever was working on the 11/18 at around 2:00 pm PST wearing stained sweatshirt and pants, with flipflops and donning a particulate mask was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional -- even by local standards. Asked to see the manager Sofia, and she insisted that I book an appointment without so much as a goodbye or thanks for stopping by. She handed me her card, which I immediately threw away. Challenging to understand how people can live like this. Yeah, life is stressful and challenging sometimes, but WHY unload that on someone who has nothing directly to do with your problems? Why, approach a complete stranger, whose triggers you have no idea about, with animus or abrasiveness -- when small things get amplified by the wrong people at the turn of a switch. Why risk that? You will keep an employee like that around? Not train them to retain clients and not be so transactional and empty? Will not be back. read more

I went a couple of times to this salon for sugaring, but I stopped going because they cancelled my appointment last minute on three separate occasions. One time, they booked me for a time when the technician was out on vacation (which I didn't know), and they called me an hour before the appointment to cancel. I decided to give this place another try and went in for a manicure and pedicure. I asked for gel nails, but they assumed I just wanted a gel manicure and didn't do gel nails for the pedicure. That's annoying but not the end of the world. I asked for an itemized receipt, and they couldn't give me a basic receipt that lists out the services clearly. I had to stay on the phone with multiple people, and one of them even said they could issue me a new receipt if I bought additional services. As you can probably imagine, I didn't get this issue resolved. If you want a place that's reliable and stress-free, please go somewhere else. I think this place might be okay for a one-time experience, but they don't really value repeat customers and you might eventually experience the same stress and hassle. read more

I'm glad I had an appointment because it got super busy between. 10:30-11:0 am Pink me up nails is located in crossroads mall SO convenient in case you need to also do grocery shopping or getting lunch, etc. I was worried because my appointment was at 10AM and it was closed at that time. They arrived at 10:10 but they worked super fast, friendly and professional . I had a mani and pedi at 10:12 and by 10:50 I was ready. Been coming here for years regularly. The service is great and they do a great job on shaping and designs! They are respectful and kind and actually stick to their schedule. Was looking for a new place to get my nails done since I just moved to the Bellevue area. Found this place that just opened and thought I'd give it a try. I was so pleasantly surprised with how clean and professional the salon was! I was able to call before on the day of to book an appointment for later that day. They had so many colors to choose from and offer all of the services you would expect a nail salon to offer. The vibe is so great and it would be a great place to take friends to hang out they offer you water and I was told that they are trying to offer more options in the future! In terms of Covid procedures they have the clear panes up on the main manicure workstation and everyone was wearing masks. Airflow was also good since the main doors are open. Prices are a tad bit more expensive than other places but honestly for the quality and the cleanliness of the salon I would definitely return. I booked an appointment for my daughters and I to get our nails done. I booked the appointment on December 7 (Three days in advance), and as we arrived to our 5:30 PM appointment, there was a gate blocking it. Nobody was in the salon, and the lights were off. I gave them my email and phone number so they could contact me, but apparently they didn't. We checked a poster on the window that said the hours, and it wrote that the store would close in 2 and a half hours. I checked the location to see if we were at the correct salon, and we were. I haven't had my nails done in so long... and I haven't ever had nail extensions before. Mia did AMAAAZINGGGGG! They helped me pick out the powder dip extensions because I really wanted to keep my natural nail healthy and strong! I also brought in this outrageous tortoise shell picture from Pinterest and Mia matched it PERFECTLY!!! She even did a tester nail to make sure it was what I was expecting. They're flush with my natural nails so I think they look real! Took my three nieces to get mani/pedis and thought I'd just get a basic pedi since I had one a week ago. All the tech had to do was file my nails not cut them. Well, it was basic, he cut them and he didn't mess them up, he jacked them up! I told the tech who appeared to be in charge. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never be returning to this salon again. I made 2 appointments for me and a friend on 1/5 at the same time and when we arrived they treated us as back to back appointments even though I specified on the phone that both were at the same time. Many others in the salon at the same time were having to wait way past their appointment times as well. When I finally did get assigned a tech (after the same one had been switching on and off doing mine and my friends nails at the same time.)I asked for a specific design with a navy blue color, I was brought out several polishes that were not even close to the navy color I was asking for and she started on the design which looked nothing like the picture at first and I kindly asked her to redo the star as it did not look professionally done at all. The end result wasn't terrible but my hands were done in two different shades of blue??? I'm confused why a nail tech would ever think it's ok to change the shade between the hands unless specifically asked for which I did NOT. Also my friends nails were done TERRIBLY and did not look a bit like the photo she had shown. I could have done them better myself. Super shitty design it looked like a 5 year old had drawn it. I was also told I couldn't make the length of my nails longer when getting a fill which contradicts every single nail salon I've been to. I was told over the phone that acrylics with design was 50$ and was charged 85$ for a fill with a design, my friend was charged 90$ for a full set with a (terribly done) design. Only a 5 dollar difference between a fill and a full set???? That seems crazy to me and not to mention WAY overpriced for the service we received. Again I will never be coming back to this salon and I truly hope you work on your customer service and train your employees better. read more

I selected a gel manicure and the woman was so rough with my nails, grinding them down to almost nothing, recklessly filing them into god knows what shape, and then she painted the gel all over my skin. I made an appointment for my friend and I at 4 pm the day before. We arrived for our appointment and my pedicure was started by one person, who left me with no explanation to go work on someone else, so I sat there with oil and cold towels on my legs for several minutes, before someone else came to continue the pedicure. Meanwhile, my friend was seated next to me in a chair they pulled up, and after being at the salon for 30 minutes they started removing her gel on her nails. She then sat there for 20+ minutes with me, before they started actually doing her manicure at 5 pm. We didn't leave for another hour. I was done shortly after she began, and had to walk around for almost an hour waiting for her. If this place was short staffed, or made a mistake in booking, that's okay, but communicate it with us! No one spoke to us once about how long things would take, or what they were even doing. I will not be going back here. read more
