Well, had my first Brazilian with Theresa as well! She was warm and welcoming and also funny!!! I was a little nervous and she made me feel really comfortable being nervous! I had an appointment today at 11:15 with Stephanie for Brow Henna and sugaring that I booked yesterday through Vagaro, Oh Sweets booking system. Today I called while I was on my way to let them know I was running 5 minutes late. Upon letting them know they claimed I wasn't on the schedule at all. I confirmed with them that I in fact was and who I was booked with. The girl on the phone, Elsa?, said that the system must've cancelled my appointment because there wasn't enough time between clients for my services. That was it. She had zero desire to help or to work to get me in today. Only until I pushed back and let her know that I had driven from the south end, already 25 minutes, and was heading out of town tomorrow for the 4th did she offer to possibly get me in tomorrow (even though I just told her I was leaving town). I let her know that I even called yesterday and spoke with someone about my service to ensure I could be in a pool come Friday (tomorrow) and let them know I was booking their 11:15 slot. She said she would call the owner and ask her what they could do and would call me back. I never received a phone call. Complete disregard of a clients time, no respect, no willingness to help. This is an error on their end but they offered nothing to rectify the situation. I'm a former esthetician and if this happened to a client I would offer to stay late and get the service done at the very least. Never will I frequent this establishment again. read more

Viri- Great facial, she was really thorough with the derma-planing and extraction. Well done. Her massage was good as well. The salon itself was really clean, I just recently moved here from Southern California so I wanted to find a place close to my house. They took my temperature when I came in and asked me to wash my hands which was reassuring. Everyone has a mask and shield. The selection of eminence products was great and I bought a new line up of my usual stuff. However I took one star off and probably won't be back for treatments unfortunately because the treatment bed was really uncomfortable for me. It's a flat metal bed on wood blocks. Which I'm sure is ideal for waxing, but not for longer treatments. I've been getting facials and seeing an esthetician regularly for the last ten years. I've never not been on a hydraulic or comfortable bed with a leg bolster and the lights turned down. That really missed the mark for me. So unfortunately I won't be back for treatments unless that's changed. I have some nerve issues on the left and I just can't take that chance of having a pinched nerve. So definitely a suggestion to upgrade that in your facial rooms. It really took away from the relaxing experience, even though Viri did a great job. I don't want to diminish that. I've been to quite a few waxing/sugaring places before and none of them compare to the experience I've received at Oh Sweet with Stephanie. I have very sensitive skin, any time wax/sugar I get crazy irritation and it takes me a few days to recover, with lots of prescription creams and lotions. That's doesn't apply when I go to Oh Sweet though. Stephanie took amazing care of me, she was very gentle and really took her time to work around my skin, while explaining the process and what she'd recommend for me. Everything was very sanitary and clean, the products she has used on me were AMAZING and so soothing. Also 0 pain. Maybe I've built up my pain tolerance but I experienced no discomfort at all. If you aren't honoring what was scheduled in advance, then I won't honor your cancellation fee as well. So GOOD LUCK to you. And that's how she treats her customers. Again, know the full information before you want to blast me on your precious review. And that's your main concern. If you didn't read it, I was ready to pay it. My payment info wasn't updated because I just got a new card and you lost. I guess you like to spread rumors about your customers. The facts: You had a customer booked out into November and your promo said nothing about usage. That's on you! You didn't honor it. TLDR; GO TO TERESA! I moved up to WA about 2 years ago, which really meant I had to start looking for a new team of talented badasses to make me look nothing like myself. This meant new hair lady, new nails lady, and of course hella important new BROWS lady! I tried a TON of places including Waxing the City, Brow Bar, random nail salons, etc. My brows always came out looking generic af with a basic arch that wasn't in the style I wanted. I'm really looking for a flatter eyebrow with way less arch. I don't want Kylie, I want Kendall. When I went to other eyebrow places, I got the same old "Yeah Yeah, got it" while they glanced at my phone pic for 0.2 seconds. ENTER TERESA!! She GETS it!! Like she actually understands the different brow types and will LOOK AT & REFERENCE the image you bring her! Like forreal, she will glance at your phone pic more than once to get the SHAPE you want. And she's so real, if your brows aren't grown out enough to achieve the pic you've brought in she will WORK WITH YOU so that in the future you can grow them out to attain those perfect brows. She's not just gonna wax everything off and have you start back at zero next time. [Idk about you guys, but that ALWAYS happened to me and it pissed me off so bad, like GREAT now I'm even farther from my eyebrow goals! Gotta grow em out all over again and buy more Anastasia pomade. Getting my brows waxed shouldn't set me back on my brows journey!] In conclusion, Teresa is SO good at her job. I've had several services here, and they've all been first rate. They specialize in body sugaring, which is similar to waxing but without the hot wax (it isn't heated), so it's a bit more pleasant. The sugaring services I've had have been done well, and the technician is really pleasant, discreet, and good about answering questions/giving advice. The facial I had was out of this world. A relaxing massage, the best skin treatments - they use Eminence, an organic brand from Hungary - and on my request, played Bob Marley instead of that electronic zen spa music one usually hears at spas. The facility is really nice - modern and sparkling clean, with pleasant, private rooms for services. The online scheduling is very convenient. Prices are very reasonable for the level of quality - I've paid the same for much lower quality. A great find. read more

I have been coming to Oh Sweet for at least a couple of years now and never have been late to any appointments until today. The receptionist hung up on me when calling in to apologize that I will be running 10 minutes late for my appointment. She said my appointment was scheduled for 15 minutes only because they have a very busy schedule. When mentioning I was on my way very close by and planning on still coming in and check with Teresa if she could still see me the receptionist asked me if I was threatening her. Hooray for Sugar Sugar in Kirkland! I have been a customer at the Greenlake location for a while, and getting there after work is a pain because of all the traffic and lack of parking. So my sugaring fell off for a bit and I became a little....furry, for lack of a better term. Now that Sugar Sugar has opened an Eastside location AND is open until 8 or 9pm, getting there is super easy! It's also located in a strip mall type location, so parking is plentiful. Since they just opened, I got in same day and my sugarist was Ali. She is so adorable. This tiny little lady ripped out all the hair she could and made me feel like a woman again lol! She was such a delight and very easy to talk to. She distracted me for the hard parts and coached me through when it was getting tough. What a sweetheart! I'm looking forward to regaining my monthly regimen now that I can access Sugar Sugar more easily! And I look forward to seeing Ali from here on out. Yay! read more

Thank God this location is now in Bridle Trails. The Eastside has been in dire need of a good sugaring spot, for years now. I have gone to Sugar Sugar in Seattle, since back when it was located in Ballard...that is over six years, if my math is correct. I've always loved what the services they've had to offer--they are priced right, and as a semi-expert on which forms of hair removal are best (hey I've got a lot of hair, and I've been removing it for many years), I've come to find that sugaring is my removal method of choice (at least for the typical areas one might wax). So, back to location. It's perfect. There's lots of parking (unlike Greenlake, where I often have to circle around the block until I'm late), and the aestheticians are super sweet and accommodating. And let's not forget product. They carry a handful of products (such as Whish), that you won't find at many other skincare spots. If you are considering removing any hair at all (and if you've *ahem* never considered it, you should probably go ahead and make that appointment), start here. Sugaring does not damage the skin like waxing does--you're not spreading hot wax on areas that have just had hair ripped out. Instead, it's a bit more relaxing, and not warm at all. Love this place!!! Finally discovered this place not long after they opened. Never had I done sugaring and thought "what the heck". So glad I did. Everyone is super nice and very knowledgable. They know their stuff. The front desk girls are always friendly and always answer any question I have. Allie is who I get all of my sugaring by. Love this girl. She is super friendly and knows how to make me comfortable during my appointment. Love hearing all her hilarious stories and she keeps me laughing all the time. She is also very knowledgable about skin care. Constantly educating me on what can help my dry skin. I visit Heather for facials. She also knows her stuff. She has helped me transform my dry red skin. After I did a 45 minute facial, I finally had to splurge for the 90 minute. Best ever. I seriously almost fell asleep. She also helped answer questions about my daughter's skin problems that I've now scheduled her an appointment too. This last week I also visited for brow shaping and got Hannah. She did a great job.
