I'm not an avid reviewer but I went here to get a BASIC manicure with clear polish and didn't have the best experience... 1. $37? Ok a little pricey but whatever 2. When the woman doing my nails was clearing my cuticles, she made me bleed twice. One of my fingers wouldn't stop bleeding, and she kept aggressively and painfully wiping it over and over. Because it wouldn't stop, she eventually gave up on fixing it (I guess?) and just painted over the blood. So now, I have to remove the clear polish and try to clean it off at home. Bikini wax- I've gone to a couple people at different times and they were outstanding. If you think you can get the same quality wax at a nail salon or cheaper place, you are wrong. At InSPA you'll have very little to no pain, and no crazy rashes/burns like at cheaper places. They treat you respectfully and are polite and kind. I never worry about getting a nail fungus. They don't do acrylics, so there are no associated toxic smells. You make appointments and they are always on time. I started going here a long time ago. Prices were slightly higher than other nail places, but they had a no tipping policy. Then they got rid of the no tipping policy (they say it's optional, but tipping never feels optional) and they've been raising prices regularly. They no longer take Spa Finder cards. You can get a discount buying a package of services, but you still tip on the inflated price. I'm having a harder and harder time justifying the extra costs. read more

Came today for a 60min signature massage and I'm glad I did! After working ten days straight, I needed something to lessen both my pains and my stresses. Left feeling noticeably more relaxed, saw Echo and he did a great job! He asked if there was anywhere he should avoid and anywhere he should give special attention. He was quite professional and the hour went by really fast- next time I would book a longer session. After, he offered pineapple berry water and tips on how to loosen up my tight shoulders- much appreciated!! Not sure why all the negative reviews regarding the front desk as both ladies today were very friendly and overall I think I would be interested in returning. I called on Thursday May 9 to confirm my appointment for a Signature Mani Pedi with Lynne at the InSpa in Issaquah on Saturday May 11 at 9am. I made the appointment on February 28th. I was told that there had been 3 messages left on my phone saying that the appointment needed to be cancelled. I never received any messages. This is the 3rd issue I have had with InSpa. The 1st was me coming to an appointment late last year and being told I was late and couldn't get the treatment I had made an appointment for. The 2nd issue was when my husband bought a gift card and the discount offered wasn't honored until he called corporate. The third issue is this one. I want a total refund for the package I bought (5 Signature Mani Pedi's for the price of 4). I am being told by the Issaquah manager Teela that they won't be able to honor the refund of the gift card and I call that bogus. She has told me that she will contact corporate and get back to me by 11am tomorrow Friday May 10th. Lynne was great for the 1 time I experienced her, but I won't be going back. This spa is top dollar with some of the worst customer service I have experienced. What a shame. So, it appears that InSpa prefers to communicate with me via private messaging. Kimber who is really Ronnie says that Teela has left me another voice message; which hasn't reached me and I was given an option to leave my email address which I did. I woke up one fine Monday morning with horrible muscle pain. My shoulders were completely "scrunched" and I could barely move my neck. Sucking it up, I went to work. The next morning, almost every muscle in my body was sore. My head hurt from a tension headache. I felt horrible. I asked my hubby (who stayed home from work to tend to me) to call my massage therapist. Unfortunately, my normal massage therapist was busy, and we couldn't get a hold of anyone else. Remembering that I've seen an inSpa at the Bellevue mall, I suggested we try calling them. While I like seeing a "regular" therapist, I was at the point where I was convinced that I couldn't possibly feel worse. Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? The staff at InSpa was able to get me in for a 30 minute tension massage that night. This location is conveniently located near our house, and also near several other stores in the area. My hubby was able to drop me off while I got my massage and get some grocery shopping done while I was getting my muscles worked on. The staff is organized and courteous. The facility is clean and tidy (even the magazines are always neatly stacked when I come in). The massage is great. I highly recommend Sandy. The rates at InSpa are very reasonable for massages. I normally paid $95 + tip to my old therapist; InSpa charges me $99 and has a no tipping policy. Plus they also offer a one year membership as a rewards member, which gives the cardholder 10% off on services. Early Christmas to me! read more

I like this InSpa location the best. The staff is friendly and the massage therapists are great. The massages are a little pricy but not terrible for the service and facility. I did like how they used to not accept tips so you just paid the base price. They changed that policy and now it's like you are pressured to tip 20% but the prices didn't go down to accommodate for this change. I think it was just kind of sketchy to do this without making some kind of announcement. If you are looking to get a massage, you should call a day or 2 ahead. They are usually booked up the day of. We've been customer's of the InSpa in Issaquah for several years now. The friendliness of the front of the house team is consistent, even in times when they have had turnover. Devin is a good manager and has a solid staff. For nails, my daughter, husband and I see Helen Nguyen. She is by far the best nail technician I have ever seen. She's thorough, detailed and very, very good at what she does. I splurge on the Shellac manicures and pedicures as I'm incredibly tough on my hands. The CND Shellac products are top quality and Helen is so thorough in how she trims my cuticles and shapes my nails that I can stretch the manicure up to 3-weeks if needed and the pedicures up to 6-weeks. When Helen is out of town for extended periods of time, I see Lisa as she is thorough, friendly and very good as well! For deep tissues massages, my husband and I have both seen Autumn. Wow, she has a very good presence and can increase or decrease the pressure as needed for you. Definitely recommend Autumn and she's been the massage therapist we request. Waxing-Tiffany is our girl. Our daughter, my husband and I all see Tiffany when we have various waxing needs. She is incredibly good at what she does. We also love that the InSpa has extended hours, the members rewards program, "passes" you can purchase for various services and it's all local to Issaquah. read more

I went here about a month ago to get a Classic Mani and a Classic Pedi and it was exactly what I was looking for. Sure, it is a little bit pricey but I love that you don't have to tip - and that they asked if I wanted to pay before so I wouldn't ruin my nails by searching around in my purse for my wallet afterwards. I was immediately offered water or tea, they also have plenty of magazines to choose from, and their use OPI nail polish (which is one of my favorite, very good quality). It was extremely relaxing, and I have absolutely no complaints. My polish lasted almost a week on my hands (in my job I also wash my hands a lot and use a lot of bleach, so I was actually surprised it lasted so long) and almost 2 weeks with my toes (but it only had one small chip after 2 whole weeks!) I will definitely be continuing to go here, but next time I will be getting their Signature Mani and Pedi instead! read more

I recommend Lindsay for the bikini wax. She gets you in and out and always does a great job. She's naturally social so while her talking distracts you from the pain and awkwardness of the bikini wax situation, the conversation is not at all forced nor adds further awkwardness to the situation. I've seen Linda and Keely - Linda was awesome and Keely was decent - and both no longer work here. Linda gave me my first stomach massage. She got trained on the east coast and tole me that stomach massages were really common and a good way to detox. It was different but I still enjoyed it. Keely was okay but a little bit cocky in her demeanor. She kept on making recommendations to come in regularly if I could afford it, how it'd be good for me if I could afford it, etc. and didn't make much effort to hear me when I asked for more pressure or focus in on certain areas. I also preferred Lindsay over Keely because Keely stopped massaging right at the 50 minutes whereas Lindsay gave me the full hour. Though later I learned that it is InSpa's unwritten policy that the hour massages are only 50 minutes to leave 10 minutes for dressing/undressing (which it never has taken me that long). read more

The reason we go to inspa was to receive higher quality services compared to the "strip mall" nail salons. We were willing to pay a higher price for a better service. Sadly inspa is now right on par with the cheaper salons in terms of quality. I just got a pedicure and specifically asked to make sure to slough my feet more (as I always have to redo this at home) and the technician did a cursory "once over" with a foot file. In past experiences with the very same basic pedi I received more attention and steps to exfoliate. Polish was done well ( no hastily painted cuticles or sloppiness) but nails were not shaped well. For almost double the price I expected more. The appt. was less than an hour. They've lost a loyal customer. UDATE: inspa graciously comped my aforementioned pedi and when I went back Veronica did a flawless job. Ask for her. She made my feet gorgeous!! read more

I've been to this InSpa a couple times now for waxing. They are very professional and make a somewhat awkward situation into something that isn't awkward. I first had Yolanda and all I have to say is that she is good and fast! I was in and out for a bikini wax in probably less than 15 minutes! It was great. This last time I had Katarina and she was also great. She walked me through the steps and also didn't make it feel awkward. Prices seem fair. I'd rather have a quality job done and have it be a little more expensive. Overall, I am happy with their job well done and I'll be coming back for sure!
