When I left Wynn nails I was very happy. I got a Gel X manicure from Holly (I think) a little over a week ago now, before I left for vacation. They looked great when I left the salon and were reasonably priced. But a few days into my vacation almost all my nails started lifting probably 2 days after I got them done. I usually get Gel X and my sets usually last 2+ weeks. Holly also unfortunately forgot to cut my nails down before putting on the new set so my natural nail length was ripped completely off when one of my nails fell off. I probably wouldn't go back for a Gel X set but the salon was very clean and all the techs and receptionists were very sweet. read more

I went to get my nails done for the second time and this time I was so disappointed. I really like my nails well done, we all do. I had some bright color before and I still see the color underneath my new light color. She soaked my fingers in pure acetone to remove the previous color, the dissolved product still all over my fingers and of course my skin got so so dry. she did not remove all of it and stated applying the new color on top of the red I had. She did not clear my cuticles even when I needed to get them clean and even more after they got dry because of the acetone. After she was almost done I asked to get the top a little more polished because it didn't look smooth enough and she didn't do it anyway. I am paying for a service that is not cheap and I want MY NAILS to look as I expected, that's why I am paying for. Ohh I forgot to mention, I had to fix the shape myself at home afterwards because they were not even. They have a sign posting 10% off if you pay with cash, which is $5 off. I gave her the money ($55) and said keep the change. Nail tech asked for more money for her tip. If you're in customer service you should never hassle your customer for more tip - even if you disagree. I didn't do anything wrong and paid my amount and left. However, the fact that she scoffed at me and asked for more money for her tip was the rudest behavior ever. For all she knew, maybe I was planning on reaching into my wallet to give her more money. Very kind people working, even though I was a new customer they treated me like I had been going to them for years! I just got a shellac manicure. WAY overpriced. The last time I paid $55.00 for a pedicure it was an experience. The pedicure I received at Wynn Nail Spa was not worth $55.00. The person doing my toes was distracted by conversations between other customers. At one point, she was filing my nails and not even looking at my feet. She got up and left me sitting there three times without saying a word. Since my feet were wet, I got very cold. Then, she put the wax on my feet for 15 minutes and massaged my shins the whole time. I don't need a shin massage, I want a foot massage. I will not go back to that place. Word to the wise, if you take them up on the offer of wine, it's added to your bill. read more

The front desk lady (I believe she is the owner) was great and that's all I can say about what's good about this nail salon. I had a pedicure. It was probably the worst I have had in the last 30 years. The technician was not thorough. During the whole time, she was either looking away or talking to someone even when she was cutting my nails. She could probably do it with her eyes closed but I felt very nervous she might accidentally cut me (which she didn't). I paid in cash. Instead of giving me back the changes, she proactively said in broken English the changes are her tips. I was going to leave her a tip anyway but I didn't like how she made me tip her. I've found that a lot of the salons in the city will rush through getting my nails done and leave them in shambles. All of the nail techs I've worked with at Wynn truly take their time and won't consider their job finished until you are completely happy with your nails. I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but this experience was honestly very disappointing. We had an appt for a bridal party but still had to wait. Ok fine, but I'd say just the first thing that was a little off. I needed to have gel removal, which my technician was visibly annoyed by. Sorry! I just wanted to get the matching nails and toes with the other bridesmaids and bride. But really the kicker was this is how my nails look, three days later! After my fingernails were finished, I didn't notice right away but then kind of freaked out because it looked like the filing/shaping of my nails made them look really rough and misshapen. Thankfully, it was just the application of the polish. But truthfully, I had small chips the NEXT DAY, the day of the wedding! Super disappointing, and we were not doing anything laborious, so NO reason for this to happen the day after getting them done. And this is gel, so I was looking forward to it lasting for weeks!!
