I want to start with the most important part. After I got home with my full set and pedi, my boyfriend liked it so much he asked "how much is that to keep up? Because consider that my treat to you." My pros: Friend staff, detail oriented, very technically skilled - this set is strong but not chunky. I felt like I had a voice - the original polish color I chose had changed a bit so she painted 1 nail to show me, and we decided on another color. One of the top five worst experiences I've had getting my nails done. First of all I was rushed from the time I walked in the door. There was absolutely no relaxation. It was hurry up and let me get this done. I walked out with nail polish all over my hands, the woman dropped the nail polish applicator on the floor underneath the desk, put it right back in the nail polish bottle and kept going. There was nothing relaxing about it. There was no soaking of my hands. I walked in with a hand that had make up samples on it and I left with make up samples on my hand. She did not clean she did not do anything. It was absolutely terrible and I'm so angry that I actually paid for it. I have never and all of my ears Ginny manicures hurt such a lackluster, in complete experience. Do not go to this establishment. read more

Dropped in today to get my polish changed. There was one customer and three staff. They sat me, started my nails. I noticed one of my nails was broken . I pointed it out to the lady doing my nails, Jenny. She laughed and continued . After 30min of filing she was going to start polishing my nails... I reminded her of my broken nail. She said come back tomorrow we have no time. She Walked away from me and sat with the one other customer who's own staff was in the restroom. I said can someone please tell me what's happening? A different nail tech sat Down with me laughing Nervously, she repaired my broken nail... over one hour later and 30 dollars for a messy polish change ... they didn't have the color I first selected... nice people but not the best at nail art. I asked for a palm tree and no one in the salon knew how to do it. Which I could understand . So she told me she could do a flower. I ask her for a Hawaiian type flower and showed her a picture and this is what I got . She even laughed at her own work finding it humorous how bad she did . Visiting from CA and came here for a mani, pedi, and wax (eyebrows and underarms). They have 6 nail chairs and 6 pedi chairs so as a walk-in, I was serviced within 5 minutes. Also very impressed with their polish selection, there's A LOT. I got shellac nails and they had many color options for that too, just didn't get to snap a pic. I had Alicia, great customer service - I can tell she was very experienced. All the manicurist seemed very nice and polite! I decided to get a wax last minute and Alicia worked quickly and very professionally - my eyebrows look great and my underarms smooth! This is my favorite nail salon in Issaquah or Sammamish. I've lived in the area for 11 years and have tried several salons that are closer to where I live but I always go back to Simply Nails. I'm always happy with my acrylic/gel manicures & pedicures. I usually call at the last minute so I've had all of the ladies do my nails at one time or another & I'm consistently satisfied with the finished product. The staff strive to give me exactly what I'm looking for. No acrylic residue under my nails or 2 coats of regular polish with one gel topcoat passing as a gel manicure here. Prices are great too. I love this nail salon on Issaquah. I get my nails done here. I get a full asks a shelac at the same time. My nails last for over a month and i do work like no I've else. I wash dishes, food clothes, bake, cook, clean and yet they strong! These girls are totally amazing too! I love this place. read more

They have great customer service. They were busy but still serviced me, my sister and cousin very well. I came in for a mani and pedi for a wedding this weekend and my manicurist did an incredible job. Awful polish selection is tiny everything is out dated the polish i chose shouldn't have been an option it was too old too thin and it was streaky i pointed it out and they said pick a color to put over it .. not even offering to re do just to cover over 4 coats already done!!!! I will not return, although the job they did was ok, I spent 2 1/2 hours there for a simple pedi and polish change. The technician worked so slow. I'm just glad I trimmed my own nails before going otherwise who knows how long I'd be there. The majority of the time spent was on removing my polish so when the time came to the actual pedi there was hardly any scrubbing or filing. Very disappointed. read more

Emily is my favorite nail technician by far. Jenny isn't the worst, but last time she messed up on one hand and didn't notice herself. I feel that I shouldn't have to keep track of the order of steps during a gel mani, but it seems I will have to from now on. Overall a great nail salon. I really enjoyed this place at first. The staff was funny and made the experience enjoyable. Over time, that lessened. Basic experience: no water or beverages offered, no special pedi treatments with stones or wax, for example. One of the technicians always charged me $5 more than everyone else for the same service, and would redo my acrylic tips (even if one was broken & nails were going to be short, all were to be replaced instead of just rebuilding the nail with the powder). Strange. I've been to several places to get my acrylics filled, and when going here, they would often lift. They also really struggle with shape preferences and seemed annoyed when a design or customization is requested. read more

Made an appt for a fill and a pedicure on a Thursday but the fill took 1.5 hrs and i was on my lunch hour so i was going to pass on the pedicure anyway. But Alicia didnt mention anything about my pedicure. she was ready to walk me out & have me pay. Which was fine because i wasnt going to get that treatment. My nails looked great. shape & color. 2 days later 2 of nails started falling off. I live in Renton but work out here so I waited until Monday to get them fixed. Alicia the owner told me that thy will fix nails with no charge if its within 3 days. I told her i lived in Renton and she still charged me $10. I went home and looked at my nails. two of the nails that i went to get fixed now looks different. More curvy and the shape does not match. the color coat she insisted that Alicia did 3 coats but i remember she did 2. I didnt argue and when i got home, the color does not match others. I wasnt expecting this service and i dont even want to go back there to get it fixed. I wanted to try out a new salon nearby my job but their environment and vibe was not welcoming. They dont accommodate you well. I wpuld not recommend this place. read more

Tried this place as I was headed out of town and it was close to my office. I won't be back. Two different ladies that worked there were eating while sitting in the pedi chairs while I was getting my mani. Kind of gross. Only one person there spoke a little English - the poor elderly lady next to me was so frustrated they would just point and she had no idea what they wanted her to do. I never really have a chance to do much for myself so when I found time yesterday, I was pretty excited for a foot massage and pretty toes. First the lady I got spoke no English so I couldn't tell her what I wanted and she rounded my nails anyway. The massage was terrible and I thought she was going to yank me out of my seat so fast. It was so fast and rough and not relaxing at all. In the end she left polish all over the tips of my toes. I also noticed they shared an electric file between me and the last next to me. So gross! Not the best nails I've ever gotten done, but not the worst. The ladies were all so sweet from the moment I walked in. None of them were screaming/talking loudly in Vietnamese all across the room... So that's a plus? My nail lady was actually really nice, she did a great job with cutting any hangnails and gave an amazing hand massage afterwards... But my shellac nails were only a 7/10. She tried her best to clean it up, but I still had polish on the sides of my fingernails. Maybe she just wasn't as experienced? The place wasn't too busy, but they were definitely booked up every hour. I gave this review 4 stars because of the great customer service and cleanliness, but not 5 stars because my nails weren't up to par. read more

I'd say this place is fair. Only thing that keeps me from giving a better review is that the past two pedicures I've gotten they've actually cut the skin on my toes. Not sure I'll be coming back to be honest. They do a good job with your nails, the polish always lasts and is smooth. The environment is kind of mediocre for the price. Today when I came in there was no music or anything and was awkwardly quiet while they did my nails. Then a girl who works here was sitting in the pedicure seats eating her lunch. It just seemed incredibly unprofessional and kind of gross. They ended up turning the tv on to hockey (in a spa environment?? Ok??) after other customers came in.
