I used to come here a lot before I moved away. Now that I'm back, I was starting to become a regular again, but unfortunately, today completely ruined that experience. The nail tech I had was rude and unprofessional. I told her the style I wanted and specifically asked for less chunky and thick more natural-looking and slim nails, but she was dismissive and even said, "If your nail breaks, it's not my problem," which was very off-putting. She didn't even finish my nails, she only completed one hand and then moved on to another customer. I was then passed to a different technician who seemed inexperienced and unsure of what she was doing. I got cat eye gel, and the results were extremely inconsistent. My left hand looks great, but my right hand looks terrible. The magnetic effect is uneven, and each finger looks different. On top of that, all of my nail edges are rough and poorly finished. I paid $72+20% tip for this, which is honestly not worth it. I shouldn't have even left a tip given the experience. Overall, very disappointing service and lack of professionalism. Came back for a gel manicure with french tips and nail design. The service was quick, rushed, and the nail tech did not listen to what I wanted at all (even though it was not busy in the salon). I had shown her pictures of what I wanted, picked colors, and asked for her opinion. She ended up giving me the most basic manicure white french tip, not at all what I asked or showed her. Stand up for yourself, not like me :'). Not worth the $60+ dollars with tip since it peeled off in one week anyways. She is meticulous and incredibly talented when it comes to nail art! The salon as a whole is clean, and bright. They had an excellent playlist going while I was in as well. There's a ton of space for pedicures if you had a group of friends wanting to go together. The one downside which is no fault of their own, the parking lot! I've been to the Redmond location but I read a few reviews that said Bellevue was better and INDEED is the verdict. The staff was super friendly and I had a great service. My husband accompanied me for a pedicure and he got a novice who was still figuring things out. He was cut so that part wasn't too great. My nail tech had to teach the other tech how put on paraffin wax. Another thing that kept bothering my husband was the techs hair was too long and kept touching his feet. Avoid this salon at all costs. I received the worst pedicure of my life here--$69 for a rushed, sloppy service that left my feet rough, cuticles untouched, and barely any massage (maybe two minutes). When I went to pay, I was pressured into leaving a mandatory 15% tip, even though tips are voluntary under WA State law. I was told I couldn't tip less, as per a posted flyer. When I got home, I realized how poor the pedicure really was--nothing like what was advertised. I returned the next morning ( within 18 hours ) and politely asked if it could be fixed before a wedding I had that weekend. The owner, Ny, refused, blamed my "dry feet," and said it wasn't her problem. When I requested a refund, she dismissed me, saying I was the first of her "10,000" customers to ever complain and told me I was the issue. She even pointed to a camera and said I was being recorded, not sure what that was about since I was calm and respectful. When I said I'd dispute the charge with my bank, she told me to go ahead--then threatened to call the police if I wasn't out in a minute. I left in tears. I'm 8 weeks postpartum and this was supposed to be a small act of self-care. Bank of America is now processing a chargeback after hearing the exchange. Bottom line: Don't let businesses bully you. Tips are voluntary. If a service isn't delivered, dispute the charge. And always stand up for yourself read more

WATCH OUT!!!!! please be mindful when they are prepping your nails!!! they gave me the ring of fire on all of my nails!!!! i've been coming to levue for a handful of months now, to preface this review i would like to say the ladies are very kind and understanding, although i originally was semi happy with my nails ( the design she did on my nails didn't match the photo i showed.) i ended up paying 112$!!!!! (which in my opinion is slightly absurd given the circumstances) and then 20 for removal!!! when they were filing and prepping my nails, they would hold the drill at an angle instead of parallel like they should which leads to your natural nail being very thin. this also causes hot flashes and general uncomfortably during the service. i really really wanted to like this place but ill stick to my independent nail techs. cheaper and more thoughtful with nail prep. (please do not mind my crusty nails, i left immediately after getting the removal after seeing the damage done to my nails and did not end up getting any other services as i had planned.) read more

The next day I noticed that there was a crack in one of my nails and had to go back to get it fixed, where the design was then changed and colors switched. Not even an hour after leaving another nail fully snapped in half, leading me to have to go back again in the same day. Once I got there I was told to come back tomorrow as they were too busy. Now, 4 days after initially getting them done, and 5 visits back to the nail salon later, another nail is now lifting. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I went there for the first time after couple of people recommended them to me on The next door app. I had a 5:00pm app for my mom & I. we were late one hour due to being stuck at the Dr office. We definitely enjoyed our visit and will be coming back to see them on a month to month basis. Doesn't matter if you make an appointment with a specific nail tech, you'll be waiting 30+ minutes and have other techs jump in and out for your service. DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM THE MALE WORKER - rude and terrible looking nails. During my fill,multiple of the techs working on me said whoever did my fill before messed up my nail beds bad (it was the guy at their own salon lol). Doesn't matter because I was still charged full price and now they have a required minimum tip? REQUIRED tip even though the service was terrible. I recommend this place if you want to overspend on nails that could be achieved anywhere else, and feel completely disrespected at the same time. It is sad, I've been a loyal customer for years to this franchise (Bellevue + Redmond locations) but their business is now mainly to make profits - not to provide quality services and respect to their customers. I have been going here since about 2015 and getting my nails done by Jenny. The place is nice, clean and simple. But over the last few years, the price has increased drastically and quality is ok (wouldn't say it's entirely worth the price). They are a bit pushy when it comes to tipping, which is a bit discomforting - especially if the quality is not the best. During the nail process, it seems to me they do the bare minimum and miss some services (such as doing the massage - which is stated in their servicing, or cleaning the cuticles prior to applying any nail design). Which is a bit disappointing since you're spending quite a bit there. I come time to time to see my go to nail technician, but since my latest experience, I don't think I will be coming anymore. read more

The girl that did my nails was nice, but I don't think the shape and quality was as good as when I got it done by Emily in the Kirkland Urban location. She was really good and got the shape done well and everything. My nails also look very thick due to the polish, which doesn't look good to me. For $40+tip, I am quite disappointed. I don't think the nail tech I like works at the Kirkland Urban anymore either :( I don't think I'll come back anymore. I had said I was never coming back to this nails salon but on a quick trip to Bellevue my MIL suggested we go here for a pedicure. I figured "Why not?" It's just a pedicure? They literally cut my nails, painted them and poorly massaged my feet for about two minutes for about $65 No callus removal, no cuticle work, nothing... On top of that I was given attitude when choosing to pay with card. The lady at the front kept insisting I pay with cash and I'd get a 10% off. We went back and forth for about 5 minutes. When I insisted paying with card since I'd be charged a fee anyhow if I went to the ATM, she mentioned that on top of the price, my fee for paying with card would be $10?!?!? Not well kept, they want to get you in and out as quickly as you can. PSA for nail salons that I've been having an issue with. Don't rush on me because you're wanting to get to the next customer. I've had bare minimum effort put into my care when I've been here. It's insane I have to even pay full price. Slow down and do a good job. I asked for a ten min extra massage as advertised.
