Also, on the second visit the nail tech damaged my nail bed with excessive filing ... I have been coming here on and off for a few years and sadly the service continues to be inconsistent but going down the drain and service is so basic. I had to tell the lady doing my pedicure to leave, she was so unfriendly and kept pulling at my feet while trying to do my manicure at the same time. I tried again. I figured it had been a couple years so maybe things were different. Well, I have never bled so much in a nail salon. The tech really nipped me pretty badly with the cuticle cutter. She had to get out the antiseptic and napkins to get the bleeding to stop. I had to come home and put a bandaid on. And just like my experience from the past I had to stop them from using the foot razor thing (I thought the standard of modern times was to ask first? Maybe I have the wrong info). I sadly can't try again. They are so nice. But I can't be in a situation where the sentence "it's ok now, the bleeding has stopped" is a real sentence that has to be said as part of the experience. The view from inside the salon is great and that's probably the best thing about this place. I went in for a pedicure and manicure. They were done at the same time which was kind of awkward but not a huge deal. She made two of my fingers bleed. Yet still I didn't complain or mind too much. The pedicure didn't feel very sanitary but I figured I was being paranoid. A few days later I noticed these painful bumps on both my feet (like warts or something). I now have to see a dermatologist to figure out what's going on. However I'm almost 100% sure I caught something from that disgusting pedicure. I am beyond frustrated. I wasted money and time just to end up having to spend more money to fix what this awful place did to my feet. Would not recommend. You're better off doing your own pedicure at home. read more

I tried giving this place another chance and they do a great job but their inconsistency with their prices and not telling you beforehand it costs $10 to remove acrylic, and or that having no polish charged me 30$ for no polish, leaving me with a 75$ bill for a pedicure essentially... this and couple other incidents and I've had my nails done and I've had the same issue with pricing inconsistencies and sometimes it's $125 other times $95 another time $85 I don't get anything special other than gel on the toes which shouldn't be more than a 10$ difference. I still left a tip like I always do but it left me with a bad tastes. Other than the location high has a beautiful view of Bellevue, and convenient location for me, I just can't with the pricing inconsistencies. read more

I have been going to Cindy's for the past 7 months and I have had an amazing experience each and every time that I visit. As a traveling nurse, I have been to my fair share of nail salons around the country and Cindy's remains at the top of my favorites list. Sandra is PHENOMENAL!! She is SO incredibly talented. I really appreciate that she has taken the time to get to know me and always remembers what I like. Sandra gives spectacular pedicures but what I'm really here to brag about are her dip and gel manicures. Personally, I am a HUGE fan of Sandra's dip powder manicure. She is so creative and always sends me out the door with the most magnificent manicure. Sandra is passionate about her job and it's quite evident. I've had past experiences at other establishments in which my dip powder only lasts about a week or two. When Sandra works her magic, my dip powder manicure typically lasts anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks. Also, the prices are very reasonable. read more

This is a hard review for me as I've been coming here (as my main nail salon) for 20 years. Great massage chairs, but you cant use them during your entire pedi if your also getting a mani, which I always do. They shut the chair off so they can do your nails while your sitting in the chair, twisting your arm so they can do both at once. I get it, in and out, save time/more clients/more money. But unless I'm in a hurry it takes away from the experience. Clean, friendly, can typically get you in even without an appt, loads of colors and types of nail services. Parking is tight but I've never had an issue. Price. Again, I've been coming here for some time and I realize everything is going up, but I with the increasing prices and less time spent on services, it takes away from my overall feeling of coming in. I got a mani/pedi. Basic pedi, only upgrade was gel polish - only on my fingernails. To be clear - on my natural short nails, no tips added, no designs, just gel polish). Done in 30 minutes, $70 before gratuity. But overall, they do great work, and are clean so I'll keep coming back, just maybe not as often as I like. With the overall downgrade in experience I would rate them a 3.5, from a one time solid 4.5. I rounded up to 4. read more

I'm not one to leave a bad review, I understand paying for a service and product. I received my services last Friday. There were several things that happened throughout my service that I was not extremely happy about, but I had been there for three hours already and needed to run to a meeting afterwards. To start, the price I was quoted over the phone was not the same price that I was given once I had to pay in store. Not a big deal. I paid it. I got a full set of acrylics that turned out fine. Of course with acrylics they are never going to be perfect, and I don't expect them to be. I got regular polish which was my first no no. My cuticles are out of control. The polish is uneven one of my fingers is so crooked it's literally pointing one direction! They are a little bit lumpy and the polish doesn't even go all the way up to where a normal manicure would. Separate picture posted- blue tapered shape! Not to mention the length of both of my hands are completely different. I also got a full set of eyelash extensions. I think there was a miscommunication when I was talking about previous eyelashes that I had gotten versus what I was looking for this time. I would've been happy to clarify if I would've known. The lady doing my service was very nice, she held a conversation with me and was kind. However the complaints come after my service was complete. As I was getting up from the table she dropped an entire pack of lashes onto the floor, then picked them up and put them back into the box. Yep. You read that correctly! Those are going to be going on somebody's eyes, and I can only help but think that's why my eyes hurt and itched so bad from the service. I have pictures of the clumped glue that didn't set well. Of course I completely understand that things happen. Sometimes your eyelashes don't set well or maybe she threw the box out after I left. But she put them back into the drawer with all the others so I doubt it. However, I have emailed and called three times asking if I could just get a partial refund or get them removed and a credit of some sort. Nope! Today I got a call back from the manager And they told me that they would remove them and then I could get nothing else. I completely understand having to pay for products, but I also paid for a service in which resulted in pain and ultimately two days later I had to have them removed. A standard set of lashes with proper care should result in a two week retention. I got two days. Why would I want to spend $200 on a service that was less than satisfactory and lasted me less than a weekend. With no offer to make it better? Absolutely not! As someone who runs a Buisness - my customers mean everything to me- my customers service commitment is what fuels my Buisness. you should always at least try to fix the situation I was willing to pay for my services, but I deserve as a customer who didn't have a good experience to at least be given a better offer than what I received. Which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed my nails and was excited to get designs or better quality manicures the next times around. I really do not recommend coming here! Sorry. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a party of 5 as we were celebrating a dear friends bachelorette. I asked if they would be taking care of us at the same time & the lady who i spoke with said yes. We had 2 shellac pedis, 1 regular mani, 1 shellac mani & 1 fill. Our appointment was at 4pm. They took care of 1 pedi & regular mani first. I waited 30min until I was taken care of. The 2nd shellac pedi waited 40min. They left the fill for last knowing that takes longer. Go figure. My friend asked for the ring finger to have a cherry blossom design. The lady who took care of her had no expertise in design so she just added some tacky kiddy stickers. For me... the nail tech Tracy did a poor job. She was in a rush I had to ask her multiple times to cut my cuticle right. She polished my nails horribly. The polish is uneven & has bubbles. The top coat some parts are shinny while others are not due to how fast she was going. The "massage" wasnt even a massage. She just added a handful of lotion. I had a ridiculous amount of excess lotion on my hands that she didnt even wipe down with a warm wet towel as most salons do. Instead she wiped my hands with the only towel she used, instead of getting a clean one. I had to wash my hands right after because the amount of lotion that was on my hands was just obnoxious. I cant say the salon as a whole is a bad experience. But Tracy really dropped the bar low. They seemed overbooked & rush. Got my nails and toes done. Toes are fab, nails are a miss for sure. I went to Mai Linh on day one and they were decent, not bad so I left feeling happy. Next day, one broke from picking up a melon. (They are way too thin) I came the following day to get it fixed, on my way there my water bottle dropped in my car so when I went to pick it up, another nail broke, literally snapped. I just got my nails done, they shouldn't be breaking over simple task. Overall my nails look a little sloppy, and she definitely rushed to fixed the two that were broken. The paint job looks like I painted them myself. She doesn't take her time at all, money hungry maybe? 2 stars because my toes are really cute, otherwise it'd be a one star. + while I was in there, another lady was complaining that she had been in three days earlier and they did a terrible job on her nails and she wants them fixed. I don't recommend this place at all, even on your worst day go somewhere else. Cindy's nails is a great nail salon. It is family run and all the women who work there are super nice and you can tell they are like a family there. I have been coming here for almost 7 years and they treat me like royalty. Some of the technicians are amazing and some are just Ok, so I can understand some of the complaints. However, I have tried a ton of other local salons and Cindy's is by far the best. $85(+ tip) spent on a dip manicure and a regular pedicure for an hour with of time is a totally fair price! They have massage chairs which all work great. Everything is clean and they sanitize all the equipment. They offer extra massage on your legs and feet if you want it for $10. Tons of of color choices. I highly recommend Sally and Holly for gel manicures - they are the best! My gel manicures last 3 weeks(+ more if I wanted to wait longer). I don't know about any other services as I haven't had them done. Sue's husband owns the pho restaurant downstairs and it is also really good! read more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but truth be told the establishment seems unsanitary. I recently moved to the area and am trying to find a new nail place. I have been getting my nails done consistently for years and this place made me nervous. They do not have liners in their water basins for pedicures which is a huge red flag. Their cuticle cutters are also not placed in sanitary liquid in between customers. A sanitary nail place would use a new set every time!! Like at the doctors! Very gross. If you get dip powder, this place had a large selection of colors which is a huge plus, a shellac top with the light was placed on top of it which I have never had happen to me in the two years I have been getting dip powder. The result is extremely bumpy and some spots are missing the top coat. Everyone has different experiences, so I am sure they do a good job a majority of the time, but the sanitary stuff I just cannot move past. read more
