When I was in town I would take my mother to get her nails done here and she always enjoyed it. She unfortunately suffered from dementia and passed away last year but I will never forget the patience and caring Anthony and Diane showed my mother. Tips, Dips and Gel, oh, my! I came to The Nail Salon because it is very near my home and because I didn't have to make my appointment weeks in advance. The location is in a small strip mall and has reserved parking for their customers. Since this was my first appointment, I had high expectations. The salon was VERY clean, calm and relaxing. It has three Pedi spas and three or four Mani stations. Bonus, it didn't smell strongly of chemicals, products or polish like nail salons usually do. My technician, Diane, was very kind and very good. She really listened to what I wanted, long but not too long, Navy polish, tips and Dips (as opposed to acrylic). I will go back again in about three weeks, depending on how quickly my nails grow. I'm very happy with my decision to give The Nail Salon a try. read more

I am just slightly disappointed. While initially I felt they did a good job, I went in on Thursday and today(Saturday), I saw that the gel polish had a bubble, like it wasn't cured all the way. The whole top layer of polish ended up peeling off and the corner of my acrylic nail chipped as well. I get gel/acrylics all the time and I have never had this happen to me before. read more

When I walked in there were only two other people in there witch was nice because they sat me down right away. The lady that did my nails was really nice but she didn't do my nails that well. I've enjoyed coming occasionally over the past few years and had good interactions with the staff. However, today before I started the pedi I explicitly stated that I wanted the regular pedicure and mentioned the $23 price. When it was time to pay, the owner wanted to charge $25 and was so sure that I paid that much for the last pedicure, and insisted that it had been that price for the past few months. This wouldn't have been an issue if I was told beforehand that the price had recently increased, which I would have willingly obliged, instead of being blindsided in the end. This bad business practice and lack of transparency ruined what would have been completely a positive experience, and if not for that, I could have easily recommended this place to others. While friendly conversations and nice staff are wonderful, to show customers respect, you have to honor the service that you promised them. In this case it is not the monetary difference of $2 that mattered but the way it came down in the end and how I felt afterwards. read more

We love this nail salon. Always kind, prompt and courteous. They do a great job and the staff is always warm and caring.

Hygiene is a big issue here. I noticed that their tools are not cleaned well between clients. Rinsing under water lightly doesn't count. Infections! It went in today and was stuck with a broken chair that lacked an armrest and was really uncomfortable to sit on. If I was told that beforehand, I'd have waited for a working chair to open up. My mani pedi seemed rushed and unpolished. I see streaks and really thick paint on my nails after spending a hundred bucks on them :( I also found it a bit offensive that the ladies who work there made fun of a plus sized client who was dancing to a song while waiting (she just seemed like a happy soul in general). I didn't understand the language but it did seem awkward that they kinda sorta pointed and laughed and made her feel out of place :( Likely won't go back. read more

I've been here quite a few times now for Pedi's. Haven't had a manicure here yet, as I usually do my own shellac nails. The ladies are always sweet and efficient. And the price can't be beat! $22 for a Pedicure. They usually give an extra long foot/leg rub which is nice. I would definitely recommend for a reasonably priced pedicure in the Kirkland area. read more

Stupidly, I have given this place way too many chances. Each time I go there the pedicure is less than 25 minutes and the nail polish is super sloppy. I'm looking at my pinky toe and they only got half the toe. My fault for not noticing before I left. Their credit card machine randomly does not work and they only take cash which means that you've got to go to the cash machine and pay an extra three bucks. They also make you put on your own flip flops. For some reason that bugs me too. read more

I had my nails done in various places over many years before I discovered The Nail Salon. I had my first appointment almost a month ago and my pedicure still looks great and fresh. The shelac manicure lasted 3 good weeks and it probably would have lasted longer if I didn't start picking and peeling it myself. On top of that - this is the first time ever that the skin over the cuticles did not peel at all. In the past I would always get some skin peeling more or less, so I am so happy I found a place where they know how to clean around the nail without any damage to the skin. read more

Lisa is fantastic. I have the most uncooperative nails in the world! Acrylics usually last 7-12 days. Not a problem for this salon. My last set lasted over 5 weeks with ZERO lifting chipping or breaking. Best nail salon I've ever been to hands down :) Ask for Lisa she's the sweetest woman and is the master of nails. Quick, friendly & cheap. Most nail salons take walk-ins right? But then half the time you actually have to wait up to 30 min. for a chair to clear before they start your pedi. This place will tell you a realistic wait time. They always have the newer OPI colors and they give great hand and foot massages. Just don't expect glam and glitz. read more

Lisa is very attentive and always takes great diabetic foot care of my mom We travel from West Seattle to see her because she is that good! She exams my mom's skin carefully and massage her legs and feet with tender care. The salon is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. read more

got a shellac mani ($25) and regular pedi- shellac lasted 3 days - already peeling off- the girl who did it (not Lisa)- was so rushed she made 2 of my cuticles bleed and it didn't even last past the weekend! =( Lisa usually does a nice job- but I was so annoyed, I asked for the "regular" pedicure- and instead she tells me regular is $30- by shoving their "menu" in front of me - since i was already in the chair I couldn't see the wall to notice that their actual REGULAR pedicure is $22- so I got scammed $8 for a spoon of "dead sea scrub"- THUMBS DOWN read more

I have not been here in a while as my best friend is a nail stylist and does mine for me now however this was my ultimate spot to get my nails done for all of my high school and early college years. The staff is so sweet and they always had student discounts and such. Ask for Lisa, she is the owner and does an amazing job I will only ever ask for her! She is super sweet and easy to get along with and always treated me with great service even when I was only 16 at the time I went. (over 8 years ago) Definitely recommend this salon.
