What bothered me the most was the hygiene. The tools did not appear to be properly sterilized and were reused between clients, which is honestly concerning and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. It is a real shame because I was hoping to find a high quality, professional nail salon, but this was definitely not it. Edit : I think you should remind your employees about the hygiene more than remind me that I can ask about tipping options

I avoided manicures for years because my cuticles always ended up hurt, but Liza at Pixie Nails has completely changed that for me. Her work is flawless and so precise, and no cuticle damage! My nails look perfect for four weeks straight between appointments--no chips, no lifting--and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Her attention to detail is incredible, and the quality of her work speaks for itself. Even after weeks, they still look great, and the growth looks more like what I would typically see after two weeks at another salon that doesn't do dry manicures. I've been getting a smart pedicure with Assel for almost 8 months. I am so happy with the results! I had suffered a major injury and my toenail had completely fallen off. I started searching for a nail specialist and found Assel at Pixielab. Assel is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me recover and strengthen my nails. A good Russian manicure, nice location, clean salon, good parking. They have a good selection of gels and a good number of technicians making it on the easy side to get an appointment. My after nails are beautiful, and my natural nails are a mess so that's something. But, this took me 3 hours for gel x extension, ombré with builder gel. That's still slow, even for a Russian manicure. I'd come back to try a pedicure and if I have a special event and want something complex. I had manicures twice in this studio. The first time the coating peeled off after two weeks - I wrote to the studio about it - they offered me another master and a discount. The second time - the coating peeled off after 5 days. (Photo taken 2 weeks after the manicure. The cost of the manicure was 87,15$). The best manicure experience I've had in the area. Both Kate and Katya are very accommodating, will always listen to your requests and thoroughly perform while asking question. I do pretty long nails sometimes, so it was hard to find a place to have them done and for them to last for 4 or even 5 weeks.
