I was asked if I wanted a hot beverage or water and I love when that happens! The nail salon was clean aswell. Only thing I wish happened was offered a warm hot towel at the end with a hand massage aswell with lotion to moisturize my hands would have been a 5 star review finishing touch! The girls are very nice. However, the first time I got an acrylic fill it was way, way too thick-it bulged up from my cuticle then tapered to the tip. They happily fixed it for me. The second time, the acrylic was lumped at the tip of each nail and not smoothed out evenly. I think she was trying to keep the nails from chipping but that's not the way. They were able to take me on the same day appointment. Wanted to like them so much, but... the dip isn't at the level of my expectations. Less than 24 hours after getting my nails done, 3-4 of them have already crackles (perhaps because they don't cure my nails with a top coat, as other salon I was going always did?), and they look like they are in the 3rd or 4th week of my usual dipped nails. Pretty ugly, and I am just disappointed... Kimmy was very nice, but she is a bit rough on my already dry hand too. Buffing my fingernails and surrounding skins too hard, ended up slashing my right middle finger knuckles. Ouch... I don't care of the salons who serve you cocktails or what not for a higher sticker price for their service. I have been coming to LV nails for a few years now and the one thing that brought me back was that they did a great job consistently. It made me feel like t they cared about the quality of their work. But the last couple of times I did not have a good experience. I put it down to a one off and still gave them another chance yday and went back for a pedicure. A friend and I had an appointment and inspire of showing up early they had 3 nail techs and had taken in 6 clients and we had to wait a good 30 minutes! When we finally got seated and started on the pedicures mine was done first. The gal barely scrubbed my feet. She rushed through my pedicure and my Fri was still seated at an empty salon chair waiting. When her nail tech finally got bc started on her feet I was done and had to wait. What's the point of making an appointment if they're just going to take on extra clients and then do a bad job after making you wait so long! . I hate to write a review when I am sitting here waiting for my nails polish to be dry. I made appointment at 11:00am but someone didn't do my pedicure until 11:20am. The nails salon is busy, look like they overbooked. One lady was here before me and had to wait to get her gel nails 30 mins after I got here and in the middle of her appointment, the nails lady had to do a waxing on another customer for good 10-15 mins in the waxing room. I'm sitting here and I'm telling you the massage is not comfy at all... there is no cushion underneath. The only reason I come here because they open on Sundays and it's 5 mins from my house. TL;DR: pricey, unhygienic, mediocre. Appointments recommended. Parking: small shared lot, almost always an open spot. Atmosphere: typical nail salon, nail tables, massage chairs, foot tubs, etc. The moment you walk in, your nostrils will burn and confirm that it is indeed a nail salon. Mmm chemicals. Prices are not upfront -- ask or be surprised at the end. Service: Staff are friendly but the place needs a bit more order and a improvement of between-customers hygiene. I made an appointment to just get shellac painted toe and finger nails and still had to wait 15+ minutes before being seen. While I was there, a couple walk-ins were turned away because, "sorry, we are very busy". Poor Hygiene: The E File they used to cut/file my cuticles on my toes was not cleaned and had skin bits left over from the persons (yes plural) before me. I watched it being used on multiple people without being cleaned in between. The drill bit was white and full of skin. Bleh! I couldn't help but cringe -- I admit I've never been to a nail salon before but I'm SURE something like this has to be cleaned in between customers, right?! I also noticed that the nail buffer and files were not cleaned in between customers either. They were all white and powdery with the remnants of the people (yes plural) before me. Pricey and Mediocre: Shellac nails, I am told, should last more than a few days. Three of my painted nails peeled off in less than two days. Sad because I paid $60 for it. It lasted at least through the event I attended. I do have to also add that while I was receiving my manicure, I watched a customer pay and then come back a few minutes later saying, "I don't like my nails. I would like them redone." The staff were very busy and told her to come back next day. The customer was concerned that if she returned next day "no one would remember her situtation" but staff just told her it would be ok. It was strange that they didn't take down a name or number or make note of any kind and just kept working as the customer left. read more

I got an amazing dip manicure from Yen today, and I am so happy with the results! I wanted my nails quite a bit shorter than what I came in with, and Yen listened to my requests and checked with me multiple times through the process to make sure I was happy with the length and shape. Yen is kind and friendly, and she does fabulous work with clear attention to detail. This was my first time at LV and I liked the experience overall. The salon was clean and quiet, and there was ample parking. Three women were getting pedicures while I was there, and seeing how relaxed the customers were and the various different pedicure features they were getting, I'd honestly consider going back for one even though I don't really care for pedicures! read more

I called about 10 minutes before they closed the day before and told them i had a flight the next day and needed my nails done. I was going to review this place right after I got my nails done but then decided I was going to wait and see how they have held up. It has not been 2 weeks since I got them done but I think it has been enough time to write my review. I had been browsing yelp for good nail places when I stumbled upon this place. I had specifically been looking for places that do nail art with the jewels and other designs. I reached out on yelp to schedule an appointment with Kevin since I had seen his work in all the pictures. The owner reached back out to my very quickly to suggest a time like all the previous reviews had said he would. I said yes to the time he suggested and never heard back so I called on the day of just to confirm. It would have been nice if he had confirmed back to me that I actually got the spot he had mentioned was open. The girl before me who had Kevin, was pretty picky with the designs and jewels she was getting done so I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for him to finish with her. From my eavesdropping, she was wanting marbled design but it just wasn't coming out right. You could feel all the employees getting antsy because he was behind schedule. I was taking awhile to pick out my colors so it was not that noticeable to me. Jessica came over to me and asked if she could shape, massage and do my cuticles to make the process move along quicker. She did a really nice job and I had no regrets letting her start my nails while waiting for Kevin to finish. After she was done that is when I began waiting again. Another woman showed up as well waiting for him when I had not even began which looked like it made all the workers on edge again. I had multiple of them ask me what designs I wanted and what colors, I was not sure if this was because they were going to offer to do it for me or because they wanted to make sure it was only Kevin who could do it. After 15 minutes of waiting, another guy came over to look at my nails and did my cuticles again. I guess there were more that could be cleaned up and it also meant I was not just sitting there waiting. When it was finally my turn for my nails, I had 3 jewels placed on each hand, 1 nail each. I was told to be very careful with them so that they would not come off. Let me tell you, I was very careful and they still came off one by one starting not even a week out. This was pretty disappointing because I have had jewels put on at other places and they lasted forever. I am thinking maybe it was the glue that was used or at least that is what my friend was spectating when I told her since she gets her nails done a lot. You can tell by one of my pictures, one of the jewels was not put on where the glue was placed. I also asked for polka dots and had to show him a picture of what it looked like. I think that just may have been a language barrier. They came out kind of like a pattern but still looked okay. For my ring fingers I had him do the white dipped sparkles which meant the texture was very rough when touched and caught on everything. I will not be doing that again even though it looked pretty. Over all my experience here was okay. I am still not sure if I would go back or not for a second chance. I think if I just got painted on designs or just gel nails, my nails would still be looking fine and I would be happy with them. read more

I am EXTREMELY SAD! I have been coming to LV Nails for my mani/pedis for a year now and had nothing but great experiences until recently! A few days ago, I had a different nail tech do my manicure and she did not follow the typical protocols that normally comes with doing a manicure service. Ontop of that, she cut a couple of my nails with the buffering tool and they started to bleed and proceeded to do my dip nails. She said it was ok to continue. Ontop of that, she kept dropping/spilling the dip powder product all over the place! Which is a waste of product for the business itself! I have many friends who own their own nail salons and understand that aspect of it at least. Ultimately, she did not do a great job... it was the worst dip nail service I have ever received unfortunately.. The nail tech who did my pedicure did a way better job though, so that was a positive. My appointment was for 3pm, I came early at 2:45, which they were able to start me early, yet I didn't leave till 5:30 almost 6, which has never happened before.. I missed my 5:30 appointment somewhere else because she was having a tough time with my nails. You can tell she was getting a bit frustrated after needing to correct her work.. Also, tell me why she was wearing a shirt that said "over it", so appropriate for the moment . I just hope I will be able to get some kind of credit for this manicure service, because ontop of the result looking poorly and uneven, I tipped 20%, my nails/fingers hurt and are healing in a horrendous way. Woohoo, it's been over a week and my shellac nails (fingers and toes) are still pretty as ever and hasn't peeled off at all :) Found this place via Yelp and overall, LV nails is a pretty solid spot for anyone wanting to get their nails done. Things to note: -Reservations highly recommended. Make an appointment since this place can get pretty busy. From my observations, there's quite a bit of regulars that swing by here so save time by booking that appointment in advance! -Parking: Plenty of space in the parking lot that is in front of LV Nails -Location: Google maps might point you in weird directions. To get here, simply look for the plaza of various businesses. Drive in and you'll see this place among the small shops -Pricing: A bit pricey in comparison to other Viet salons but I think it's well worth it for the high quality job you'll get for your nails. Also, do take note of the type of nail polish you pick. Certain polish requires more $$ and LV Nails does a great job in noting that on nail polish cutout. Just to give you an idea on pricing: It was roughly $250+ (with tip) for 2 sets of shellac mani/ luxury pedi + upcharge for nail art + upcharge for certain shellac polish + upcharge for nail ombre style. -Service: Very top notched and thorough. :) -Pedicures: Highly suggest pampering your self with the luxury pedicure. All the products used are organic and it's quite the treat for not only your feet but legs! The salon is nice, clean and has a great ambience with music, and kind staffing. They also have a great offer with providing a complimentary wine glass during the service. The overall pricing is reasonable and again, staff is kind, very clean and they all keep the space tidy, which I really appreciate. Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves and I am really unhappy with how my cuticles were left and the resolution to it as well.
